The coolest cars are VW Samba Vans. You know, the ones that hippies drive in. It's old, but they're cool. Maybe that's an idea for a new car? If you can find one for 4-5K.

Well, dealers are out of the question for buying cars. I'm looking maybe at a Honda Civic. No dealer has a car for under 5k.
Bloody hell.

If you have a honda civic and change the oil every 3000-5000 miles, well, we got 300,000 miles out of our civic before it began to go kaputsie.

Why are we mad? We drove that car into the ground before we sold it to a 9th grader for his metal shop project. It died on the freeway. You could tell that we were going to be needing a new car, though, mainly because we never used the left hand passenger door (it wouldn't open) and had the trunk taped shut with the ever friendly ducttape.

They may be slightly more expensive at first to buy but they last a long time and are really safe. I've had my Honda (a 95 civic) for 4 years now and it's still running great and hasn't needed more than regular maintenece. Besides I got rear ended twice a few years ago in that car (second one really messed up the trunk) but it got repaired and is still in really good condition.

I think it would have lasted longer if we had been the original owners, but we kept it until we could keep it no longer. Now we have a nice shiny Honda Accord, complete with silver and green hockey stickers, liscence plate surrounderything, and posterystuff.

It worked out. We also drove our Ford Pickup truck until the engine broke beyond repair and we sold it to some random guy who had a good engine but no truck (We had a truck but no engine) for 500 dollars. We're not neccessarily poor, but we don't have the money to go buying a new car every three years.

Well, we had it for probably 12 years, and my dad has a long commute, and that was the car he took to work, and we took it all the way to canada and back, and it was used when we got it.
