Suddenly, a near by trap made a snapping noise as it pulled up a rabbit. The figure turned its attention to the rabbit hanging by the leg in a nearby tree. The figure leapt through the tree tops until it was in the tree next to the one with the rabbit. The figured pulled something out that made a shing noise, like a weapon being unsheathed. Quickly, the figure jumped down out of the tree, slashed the rope, kicked off another tree, caught the rabbit in his left arm, kicked off another tree, and landed on the ground in the shade. He held the rabbit down as he raised his katana into the air above the rabbit and slammed it down into the ground to the side. He untied the rope around the rabbit's foot and let go of it. The rabbit looked up at the human figure and then hopped off into the forest. Then the shadow clad stranger stood up, appearing to only be the size of a 16 year old. The figure pulled his sword from the ground and held it infront of him in a defensive stance. The strange rabbit saving man's identity was still hidden in the tree's shadows.

A small squeek was heard as Rayl felt nothing inside of the bush. Moving the leaves aside he found a small squirrel scared out of it's life. Rayl missed chopping the squirrel's tail off by an inch and sighed, "Maybe I'm imagining things." Rayl put his weapon back on his back and began to look around curiously. Wondering which way to go Rayl began to look around curiously and examining areas of landscape to see if any had been disturbed by movement. Aside from the bush nothing seemed out of place except the branch that Rayl accidently broke.
"I hate this forest..." Rayl turned to face the tree and began focusing his energy into the bluelight again. Slowly a small glow came to his hand and Rayl touched the tree. "Maybe this will help Kenji find me..." As the tree began to turn to ice Rayl unsheathed and swung his naginata into the frozen part of the tree and with a mighty swing the tall tree shook slightly and then began to tip.

Seeing Rayl freeze the tree and knock it over, the man in the shadows dropped his defensive position and ran towards the tree. "NOOOO!" He jumped and slashed the top of the iced tree off and it fell back breaking the ice below it and caused the whole thing to collapse on itself, leaving the surrounding trees unharmed. The man near a tree branch and grabbed it swung off it, and landed behind Rayl. He quickly grabbed Rayl's left arm twisted it behind his back, grabbed Rayl's right arm, placed his foot on Rayl's back and pushed on it. "Hey! What do ya think your doin'?!?" scream

Rayl pushed as hard as he could away from the figure and got enough room that Rayl tucked his legs under and began a front flip. After straightening out his arms Rayl twisted violently releasing the boy's grip on his wrist and Rayl jumped back and took a defensive stance, "What am I doing? You jumped me!"

The boy jumped back and got into a defensive stance. "Look what you did!"
the boy pointed to the giant pile of icy shards. "Not only did you destory this tree, but you nearly took out the surrounding area! How could you?!?" scream

"Excuse me for taking my anger out on something!" Rayl sighed and lowered his weapon, "I'm sorry about what I did to the tree, but who are you?"

"you have no right to take out anger on the forest. it is a living thing and deserves to be respected. I am voice of the forest. I protect it and it protects me." The boy was very emotional during his short speech.

"I'm sorry I'm not worried about the forest right now I'm more worried about something that's going to try and Kill me!" Rayl began to get angry but calmed himself down. "I'm sorry about your forest, but I'll worry about it later for now I need to be prepared." Rayl began to walk away and before he could get far he stepped in another rope trap, this one just swung him upside down a few feet off the ground. Not again.....

"I'm not sure but I think it's hiding in these woods." Rayl swung sideway and grabbed a tree branch to steady himself. After finally shaking his foot loose he dropped to the ground. "You seem to know these woods pretty good think you can help me find it? I was heading east and I got seperated from my partner." Rayl looks the young man up and down, "Also, what's your name?"

"Ok, one second..." Rayl focuses on the forest hoping maybe he could sense if either Kenji or the dark force was around somewhere... however the forest was too thick for Rayl to be able to focus very far. "...It doesn't seem like there is anything around here but I'm still very weak. How about you just lead through the area and stay close enough for me to follow you."

The boy climbed up a tree like a squirrel and swung from tree to tree slowly so that Rayl could follow. "So what does this... whatever it is look like?"

"I don't know, I get this creepy feeling when I get close though." Rayl swung over to a low limb and began to jump from limb to limb following the boy.

"you're weird". the biy stopped and sniffed the air. "Muchie!" the boy sprung out of the tree and grabbed a rope trap and swung down on it and cut it at the bottom. "Muchie!", the boy ran into a bush. " Muchie! There you are."
