Kenji looked up to find Kinera looking at him. He got up and brushed the dust off of his knees, "Yeah..I'm Kenji. Need something?"

Rayl eyes Kinera talking to Kenji and approaches them, "Mind if I sit here?" Rayl asks gesturing to a seat beside Kinera.

Kinera shook her head, "Just making sure one of the only non-evil guys at this school isn't going to get crushed before the year is half way through." She said it so matter-of-factly but still kept a kind face. Kinera hoped her borther wasn't going to get into trouble either today. When she heard her brother's voice she turned towards him, "Thinking of the devil."

Kenji blinked and looked at the guy behind Kinera, "Um...ok.." He picked up his now dirt-soiled food and threw it away, keeping the water bottle. Scooting down a chair, he watched the two carefully.

Kinera sat down next to her brother, "So, Rayl, how is your day so far?" She stole a nugget off Rayl's tray and chewwed it. It reminded her why she didn't eat school food as she made a face after finishing it. "Ew..."

Rayl tries to smack his sisters hand reaching for more food. "Kinera! He just lost his food don't steal mine and eat infront of him it's rude. You want something to eat Kenji?" Rayl motions at the food his sister hasn't eaten yet.

"Hm?" Kenji looked over to Kinera'a brother, "Nah, I'm ok." He opened his water bottle and took a sip out of it. Being the anti-social guy he was, Kenji didn't make an attempt to converse with Kinera and Rayl but this time, he thought, he would make an exception. "Aren't you guys new here? Where are you from?"

Kinera pulled her hand away quickly to avoid the smack, "The food here is nasty anyways..." she muttered under her breath. Kinera turned her attention back to the paper with the lyrics on it. Mr. Ubel, the choir teacher and her singing intructor, had given it to her saying that he thought her vocal range was right for the song. Kinera looked up and over to Kenji when he asked the questions, "Yeah, we're from Aquaria."

"Were here on... " Rayl eyes Kinera, "She's here for academic excellence and to participate in the arts program. I heard you guys had an incredible athletic department here so i opted to be her guardian."

Kenji nodded, "Ah..I see..well, you came to the right place for it..." He stopped there, not knowing what else to saying. The boy emptied the water bottle and threw it away as he got up. "Well, I'll see you in history.." Kenji walked out with his backpack slinged on his right shoulder, quickly getting out of the cafeteria.

"Bye, Kenji!" Kinera called after him before turning back to her brother. "He seems nice!" Kinera smiled as she tried another attempt at stealthly stealing another cold nugget.

Rayl chuckled to himself as Kenji walked away, "He seems a little shy... don't you think? Are you going to try and do something about it like you always did back home?"

Kinera gave her brother Rayl a very innocent smile, "Why what do you mean, Rayl?" She looked over at the clock about the main enterance. "I should head out so I'm not late to my next class. What do you have next?"

"I've got dance! Who's your teacher?" Kinera reached into her bag and pulled out her own schedule. "I've got Mr. Leon for history at the end of the day. he's nice but he's weird in a way."
