mvsaxamaphone08 minnesota, i'm in the irondale band. we got second in the state (should've been first....) and 8th at the st. louis super regional OMG I think I went to a competition there! Yeah! We did! I'm from Spooner Wisconsin. Rails Marching Band. Ring a bell? We got last..again...so if you remember our really crappy performance...um...PM me. Ok bye!

Used to be in GTCYS, but I took a break for a year. I'm trying out for either GTCYS or MYS this year. (orchestras) All I know is that my Wind Ensemble got a Superior in contest!!!! One of the judges gave us a 39 eek

Oh, I was thinking of trying out for All-State, but I think I'm too young (sophomore in HS). We worked on the etude in band. You're right. It was INSANE. So hard!!!
Any Minnesotans going to State Solo/Ensemble Contest? I'm going for a duet and a solo.
