Mcachern High School in Powder Springs, GA. Powder Springs is in Cobb County, a major center for music. Our marching band competes in the BOA (Bands of America) Super Regional in Atlanta at the Georgia Dome. 2 years ago we won 4th place. This year we didn't do very well because of too much drama and people thinking that they were better than everyone else instead of working as a team, or band if you want. We also lost a god number of people (about 40) to a new school and graduation. We used to have 200+ but we now have less than 160. Our Wind Ensemble (top band) has been inited to the National Concert Band Festival this year.

Well I posted in the original regional threads, guess I should come in here and post them again. My hometown is Ocean Springs, Mississippi. I was part of the OSHS Blue Grey Pride. I'm currently now attending an art college in Savannah, Georgia.

Tubariffic I think I've heard of that school, not so much the Seventy-First Marching Regiment Southview Tigers? Schoolstolehalfourbrassplayers>_>
I doubt you've heard of SFHS that much lately. =| The principle here *limits* how far we go. The furthest we're allowed to travel is to where ever football play-offs are. And during play offs only band-kids care about the bands. =|
Then this year we had some... drama... that kept us from going *anywhere*.
