Wolverine5 With all due respect, I believe that Itachi would win over Lee, in base experience alone. Itachi is a genius that outranks both Sasuke and Negi together. He became a Captain of an Anub cell at the age of 12. However it was not for just his kekki genki, otherwise Sasuke and Negi would be atleast Jonin by the time of the Chunin exam's. Plus, although the gates are a strong technique, Itachi has had a lot of experience on the battlefield, it's more than likely he's seen that technique, coppied it, and found out it's flaws, how to exploit those flaws and how to counter that technique. While Lee is cool, it would not be wise to use the gate tech. against a battle hardened opponent. At most all Lee can hope for is to kill Itachi by killing himself. I can't see anyway for Lee to walk away from this fight. Sorry... sweatdrop isnt the gates a taijustsu so itachi cant copy it

I dont know, I think its all a matter of if Lee can catch Itachi off gaurd. If not I would Say Itachi wins. Unfortunatley.

Rock Joe who do you think would win. weights off 8 gates opened lee versus itachi. its a close one but lee has my vote. Dude, don't put Rock Lee out there like that. I like Rock Lee just as much as the next but Itachi would inihilate Rock Lee. Plus, Lee is smart enough not to fight Itachi anyway

Some else out there actually knows something about Naruto!!!! crying crying *cries in happiness* Anyway, the battle would have to be determined by several factors: 1.) Would Lee already be using Eight-Gates Manipulation? 2.) Would Lee actually be fighting Itachi? (this makes sense if you've read the manga) 3.) Would Itachi have enough stamina to use the Sharingan? Considering all these factors,it's probably more likely that Itachi will win. If Lee has to open any number of gates, Itachi will have been able to use his Mangekyou Sharingan to kill/mentally scar Lee.

If Lee were to fight Itachi, he would surly have to use the Eight gates of life, however, as we saw during the battle against Garra, the time between opening the first gate and the second is, during the middle of a battle, extream to say the least, and although Garra was toying with Lee during that time, Itachi won't. That is the main problem with the eight gates, although it is incredibly strong, it has more weaknesses than Garras sand armor. Lee should be taught a better technique, Has anyone seen the Jet Li movie "Kiss of the Dragon"? The moves Jet Li made, and the style he used would be perfect! Lee would have to condition his mind, but the use of accupunctor(sic) needles, would be a great benifit to him in the end. mrgreen

In a hand to hand,no gen or ninjustsu Lee would own.
But Itachi would own Lee with the other two.
