One thing then... Lee's goal was to win Sakura over, if this is about goals, wouldn't it be a good symoblism to show the two of them fall in love, Sakura finally finds what she's always been looking for, and Lee finally reaches his goal of Sakura returning all his affection.

Narutard221 Okay time to get a bit more active in this guild -.-' *Takes deep breath*.
Okay does anyone know what Naruto is basicly about? Death, Ninjas, Fighting... Wrong... Its about reaching goals... Lee his is to become a great ninja that doesnt use Ninjutsu and Genjutsu and Sakura's is to gain Sasuke's love. Sasuke has his own goals which is to restore his clan and kill Itachi... After he kills Itachi hes not going to just give up his body to Orochimaru cause hes smarter then that I say he has his own little plan but enough about that... Kishi gives alot of clues that Lee is not going to be with Sakura... for example, in the forest of death when the leaves were falling, Lee said that if he could catch them all Sakura would return his love but if he didint then he had no chance of being with her, Lee never caught them. The reason Sakura took those flowers to Lee was because she felt bad for him since they had said that he would not live his life out as a ninja anymore due to his fatal Gaara injury. From my P.O.V. I basicly say that Lee should be with Ten Ten and Sakura should be with Sasuke. First off, LeeTen has had NO hinting at whatsoever, other than the fact that they're teamates. So, it would be just as out of the blue as if Hinata and Shino got together. It isn't likely and it would be poor writing on Kishi's part. Also, to use your own evidence against you, Kishi was had scenes like that leaf one for every single pairing. Anti-SasuSaku ones being when Sasuke smashed the plate of fruit Sakura prepared him, him rejecting her numberous times and him placing her low on his priorities when he left Konoha. As I've said before, I think the leaf was more of a symbolism on how both characters had to mature more before they could have a serious relationship. But that's just my interpretation, feel free to disregard it. Then, there's the fact that Sakura planned to give Lee those flowers BEFORE she knew about his injuries, proving that it wasn't 'just because she felt bad for him'. To end all this, can we please keep this thread pro? I don't go into SasuSaku threads and go 'OMGZ! Here's why they'll never end up together, etc,' because it's common courtesy. I don't mean to be bitchy or get on your case, but there's a reason for all of those 'discuss which pairings will work' threads. (Any authority figure in this guild who has a major disagreement with this, speak up and I'll shut up.)

I'm slowly but surely starting to be convinced its this couple that'll become canon. Of course, I'd rather be on GaaSaku but what can I do?
And by the way Narutard221, it was never said that Sakura's goal was to be with Sasuke. wink

Really?! Wow, I should start keeping up with the manga. (So far I figure if I download the episodes without paying, I can at least give back by buying the manga as it comes out in America)
I mean, I'd love if it LeeSaku became canon (I've spent enough of my life writing/reading fanfiction xd ) but I don't think Kishi will reveal anything until practically the last chapter. He'd lose too many fangirls.

Candy Quackenbush Really?! Wow, I should start keeping up with the manga. (I haven't watched them, but from what I hear...)
I know the fillers don't exactly count, but I don't think they'd hint at a pairing if it weren't to become canon in the manga.

But I agree that the animators probably do know more as to how it'll end. Also: Didn't Kishi say he was influenced by the anime? For all we know it could be the complete other way around.

Meh. xD I have NEVER seen a LeeTen hint, In fact you barely see TenTen except for her fight with Temari, and some scenes where she's in the background, they only ever put any kind of focus on her in fillers and fillers don't count either. So if you see any proof can you tell me what episode? In fact she tells Lee to give up because he'll never be as good as Neji, which places the fact that she believes Neji is better then Lee.
