Moonstar hushed his fellow cats and creeped forward, trying to catch the scent of where the fireclan warrior was. He peered through a bush and could see the fireclan warrior, Echosong, sitting in a small clearing looking puzzled. He waited a moment then he and the other two cats sprang out from the bush and surrounded the warrior.
"What are you doing on Waterclan territory?" He asked in a nice but authoritative voice.

Echosong looked around, a little startled by their sudden appearance, but not surprized. It was their territory afterall.

The Waterclan warrior waited for a reply. Echosong looked to startled to speak right away. So he repeated his question, "What business do you have on waterclan territory?"

(hey, sorry i didn't finish my reply last night, i ment to, but something came up. i will now)
Echosong blinked. "I herd you the first time," she said calmly. Her voice was sweet but held athority(sp?). "I thought-" Echosong stopped. the real reason would be too embarasing. Why did i come here anyway? she thought. For a moment Echosong glanced at Moonstar and caught his eyes. There was no dening she saw something in them.
(since its a little boring at the moment, i was wondering if Echosong could strike a little romance between her and Moonstar. would that be ok?)

"You thought what?" He questioned, secretly wanting to know the real reason she had come to his territory. He had seen her at many gatherings, she was a very popular warrior in Fireclan, and not just because she was debuty. As he caught her eyes he found himself secretly feeling glad she had stumbled across to waterclan territory, though he himself didn't understand why.
"I mean, whatever it is it's probably not a bad thing, I just have to know as leader you understand." He said in a softer tone.

Echosong looked at him questionally. "No, i understand. I'll go now." she said. She dipped her head in respect for the leader. "It was nice seeing you," she added.

Moonstar watched the Fireclan debuty leave, soon remembering that she still hadn't told him why she was on Waterclan territory. Why would she come over here and risk getting attacked by a waterclan patrol if it wasn't important? He was about to shout after her and get her to tell him if there was something wrong in fireclan but she was already gone and out of hearing distance.

Echosong sighed and headed through the vibrant stalks of emrald. Just at the edge of the river she stopped. Echosong looked into the clear rippling water. this can't happen, she thought. why me? why him?
your still on Waterclan territory her concience reminded her.
"Yeah, yeah" Echosong spat. She looked around.
"Who am i talking to, anyway?" she wondered aloud.

Shimmerpelt stepped out into the clearing.
"What happened?" She asked "Why was she here?" She looked at Moonstar with a puzzled expression.

"I-I don't know, she didn't say. But she didn't put up a fight so I don't think there's any threat from Fireclan." He turned around and immediately smelled a mouse. "Come on, let's keep hunting."

Shimmerpelt followed Moonstar out of the clearing back down to the river.
There were silver fish swimming in the water, Shimmerpelt decided to try her luck and catch one. She walked slowly up to the water and waited for one to come by. One slowly swam up, Shimmerpelt reached out her paw and hooked the fish on her claw and pulled it out of the water.
((Do Waterclan cats swim like Riverclan cats do?))

He said to the other two cats who were nearby.
