Gahou ran as quickly as he could across the bridge, staggering in some spots, hoping to make it home as his ink-blood worked to dilute whatever it was that had been put in his system. His shoulder tingled again, reminding him that there was still a senbon in one arm, but he was too tired already to pull it out.

Kurome crossed the bridge, following a scent that was leading her to Rain, where one of the mist genin had been attacked on the way home from the chuunin exams. It is definitely stronger, here... the ink-brat must have been attacked nearby.
