Ranu glanced behind him as if expecting to see someone. Not seeing anyone, he turnt back. "Who?"

Strom eyed the man in front of Kibo.

Ranu shook his head, "I have no idea. Something demonic, I'd hazard." he glanced at the woman, and touched a hand to his head, at her title. "Ranu Blackheart, former seciend lieutenant in His Magestys Royal Navy, now rankless" he returned his look to Kobo, as he said about serving under a woman. "As long as the Captain knows his or her business, I don't care of the gender." Ranu said, then seemed to get into a memory and continue "Its when the Captain orders us to charge headlong into a fleet of French Battleships, that I have an objection."

"I do have some idea of what I'm doing. And generally we won't sail into the middle of a French armada. But when I give an order in battle, you must do it without question and instantly. It may not make since then, but it will later, trust me."

Ranu saluted again, "I don't question many orders." he said, "To be honest, the rarer [as in more savage, not less frequent.] the fight, the happier I am." His eyes closed, then reopened, now on Commodore Kibo, "I was kicked out for killing the Captain, to the British, I have no pride, so I fight as such." he bit his lip slightly. "Give me a rank. Give me a place to serve, and you'll get the best damn ship in the Caribbean."
