... Everything was very green. Back is weighed down...why? The green is being replaced by red...no. Black.
"Where do you think he came from?"
"Does it really matter? He's here now."
"I vonder vhy he vwas layingh in our yard Ic.."
"Maybe we should wait until he wakes up before we start asking a bunch of questions, alright?"
Lime eyes fluttered open with the wave of thin black lashes. Though nobody could see it, Leonid's eyes glanced cautiously around the room before he abruptly sat up. As the small crowd of children jumped away from him he focused his sights on the tallest one there, presumably the oldest. The older person had not moved, but kept an intent curious eye on him.
He blinked, and realized he could see in full color. Someone removed his visor, and his hat too. Leonid glanced downward at his callused hand. He gripped softly against the white sheets he was laying atop of. His gloves had also been removed, but it didn't matter, this place was warm enough.
Where was he? What was he doing in this place? His body shifted slightly, as he brought one of his hands to rest against his forhead. He was uncomfortable in this room. So many stares, and unanswered questions. Questions from both him, and the people around.
"What's up with your eyes?" Broke the silence.
"Cid!"
"What!?"
"No..it is alright. I am sure the child meant no harm by it." Finally...he spoke. Though he had no idea where he was, these people seemed..."friendly" enough. He rubbed the back of his short hair, not really knowing what to say.
"So...what's your name?" The oldest, and seemingly the 'guardian' of the bunch, put on a friendly smile as he said this. Leonid though, was well aware that he wasn't probably the most unintimidating creature around.
He sat silent for a second, not sure what he should tell these people. He decied for now, he would give his alias, and nothing more.
"You can call me Red Star..." As he said this, he went to get up from the bed...only to feel a sinking pain in his right shoulder-blade. He loked behind himself to see his right wing limp and covered in badly wrapped bandages.
"I...I meant to try and tell you earlier.."
Leonid sat back down on the mattress, not really knowing what to do about the whole situation. He closed his eyes and crossed his hands under his chin, a common thinking position.
"We..found you on the outer parts of the yard. You didn't look so good...so we all managed to get you inside."
"You should be thankful...you weren't very light..."
"Luel!"
A chuckle could not help but escape through Leonid's lips as he heard this comment.
"So...who are you people? And why have you taken me into your home?"
The older one crouched down on one knee, as to get a better view of Leonid as he sat.
"Well... I'm Icarus, the owner of the house. And we couldn't just leave you outside...where else would we take you. What, with your damaged wing and all. "
"I could have just as easilly walked."
"Not from what I have seen..." Spoke a voice in the doorway, another child. He had small white wings draped from his back, unusable in flight, but quite similar to his own. This explained the comfortableness of Icarus and the other people surrounding him.
"That's Ciyrul...he found you. You two seem to be quite similar. Perhaps you could share conversation.. What were you doing outside in weather like that anyway?"
Leonid looked upwards and sighed. He could...not remember anything except falling, and waking up in this house. He looked at Icarus and simply shrugged his shoulders.
"Nobody should be out alone like that." Icarus said blatently. "It would probably be best if you stayed here for a while, at least until your wing heals. We can always use more company too. "
"I...cannot. I must be leaving. " As he went to stand again, he felt incredibly weak. This was unusual for him, he could feel it in his gut. Perhaps something had planted him here? He fell back onto the matress in a sitting position and stared forward.
"Perhaps I could stay...for just a little while?"

Relaxing piano music echoed throughout the house, entrancing its residents in a soft melody.
Leonid was on his back, wings spread out and drooping off the sides of the bed. He had become slightly more comfortable in the new home, and had removed his jacket and boots, leaving him in a green shirt and black pants. His hands were resting behind his head; green eyes staring at the ceiling.
He couldn't remember how long he had been asleep after meeting everyone; but it felt incredibly long. He was hungry; but wasn't sure how to go about asking for anything.
Deciding he couldn't just lay around forever, he decided to remove himself from the bed and walk down the hall.
As he exited the bedroom he realized he didn't know where he was going. Slightly unsure of how the large house worked, he decided to follow the noise of the piano music. The least it could do was lead him to another house resident.
His footsteps were heavy, creaking the floorboards in many places. As he peeked around the corner to the next hall, he came to see the top of someone's head. He looked downard to come face-to-face with a brown headed young woman. She stared back at him with multi-coloured eyes and a slightly confused look.
As Leonid looked more at her he realized she had wings much like himself. As he started to move to the side and out of the way, he was cut off.
"You finally woke up!" the woman said happilly.
"We were all waiting forever! Man, you sleep like a rock you know that? Looked nice though."
This brought about confusion to Leonid, his cheeks reddening at the last comment. They were watching him sleep? Something he certainly didn't expect. As he watched the woman before him, he realized she was wearing close to nothing. This caused his cheeks to redden even more. He averted his eyes to something on the wall. For once, he was very grateful for the solid colour of his eyeball.
"So? Aren't you going to ask who I am? I mean, we are both angels after all. I thought you might be slightly interested; since you know, I -am- the only woman here."
There was a light pause. Then he realized she was the only woman he'd seen so far; but had she been here long..? Wait..what was she implying?
"Uhm..alright..who are you?"
"I'm Rosalind. On a more serious note... How's your wing feeling? I heard it was pretty banged up. Your name is Red Star, right?"
"Actually it's...yeah, it's Red Star."
Rosalind chuckled and placed a hand on Leonid's cheek.
"Well, you don't feel hot, not sick. Come on, people want to see you downstairs I'm sure. Icarus was very concerned about you when I showed up; I think I may have added to his stress; but luckilly I wasn't hurt so he could relax some."
Rosalind turned and started to walk down the stairs. Leonid cautiously followed. This woman was so forward, yet so nice. He couldn't help but feel happy around her. It was probably the fact they were both angels..yeah..that's all it was. He looked back at his wing, it seemed a little better...but it could probably use some more healing...he could stay longer.
