Crappy thing about all that is, like I knew some very femme guys in high school that were NOT gay... they just grew up in a neighborhood where all the other kids in the neighborhood were girls, so they ALWAYS hung out with these girls ever since they were little... and they were a bit girly themselves because they had always only hung out with girls. They got crap in high school and they werent even gay, poor guys...

the other day i was reading over the shoulder of my friend at school on a bench that had no back, and we were both sitting with one leg on both sides of the bench. i was about a foot behind her, and she hadn't even noticed me reading yet.
there were afew people standing afew feet away, and one said to me "are you guys gay?" i thought she had said, "are you ok?" so i said yes ^ ^'' she then ran around screaming "EWWWW, EWWW" until i stopped her and said "wait... what did you ask me?" and explained what i had heard, and that we weren't a couple. (that friend isn't bi or les)
so i guess if you sit that way, you're a couple? ^ ^'' my group of friends happen to be very huggy/touchy/snuggly soo.... yeah >_o
we kiss eachother's cheeks, hug, hug from behind, hold eachother's hands, poke eachother in the boob for the sheer fun of seeing the poked friend squeal, etc. XD

Teh blonde stereotype. Everyone thinks I'm stupid. D< BUT I'm in the top 5% of our grade for averages (92.5%). But, that doesn't do ANYTHING when you're the 2nd blondest person in the entire school *Sigh* But then, everyone goes and dyes their hair blonde. XD

The worst stereotype I have ever heard is that the only true lesbians are the "butch-dyke" lesbians. The girl's reasoning was that since they wanted to look and act like guys that obviously meant that they were homosexual. However, any "femme" lesbian is considered fake and wanting attention since she doesn't dress or act like a man...

I have heard something similar Moonlightmage. I was once accused of being straight by another (very queenie) gay guy because I only owned one pair of shoes. I was so angry.

Sooooooo many of those apply to me, and I just realized that the people in my town must be really dumb if they didn't notice yet. But theres a stereotype that if you're a guy and you suck on the end of your pen then your gay. That one irritates me.

Yeah, it used to be that if your left ear was pierced you were straight, both ears was bi, and right ear ws gay, but then piercing both ears for guys became popular and homophobes caught on to it. It was kind of like codes to let other LGB people know where you stood
