Her yellow eyes lit up as he rolled out and she let out a gleeful yip, leaping forward and landing in front of him. At his sheepish expression, she cocked her head to the side, grinning, before leaning forward and nuzzling his cheek warmly. "I'm glad you're not a tree wolf," she agreed, grinning. "I'd still be your friend, but it wouldn't be nearly as much fun!"
Trin leaned back, frowning thoughtfully. "I guess we shouldn't play hide and seek anymore," she chuckled. "Do you know any other games?" Her eyes widened and she looked at him, ears perked and tail wagging.

Rem gave a happy yip in reply, his tail wagging as he recieved the affectionate nuzzle. As for games he knew plenty but some of them had only been possible at his homeland. Though maybe some of them could be adapted to work here too.
I have a good idea! Follow me! And with that he got onto his paws, pausing only to n** playfully at her ears. Then with that done he turned back the way he had come, trotting at a leisurely pace, with head up and plumed tail flowing behind him.
His idea would definately be fun. Don't worry! It's not that far!

Trin tilted her head curiously but stood up, loping after her new friend. Soon she fell in step beside him, her paws almost matching his own (deterred only by the slight size difference between the two). Her tail continued to wag and though she was quiet for the first few moments, curiosity got the best of her.
"Where are we going?" The young female stopped to think before adding, "Is this game fun?"
She figured that it was... after all, Rem wouldn't make them play a boring game! With a silly smile spread across her lips, she continued to trot beside him, her eyes shining eagerly.

Well to be honest Trinny I've never played it before! Rem admitted, looking over at the wolfess trotting along beside him. She held a curiosity within her that was truly wonderful - to Rem atleast - and he was glad he'd found such an energetic playmate.
I used to play a game like it back at my own homeland but this one is slightly different. It wasn't long before the trees began to thin out and after a couple more minutes they broke from the line of trees and out onto the sandy beach.
Here we are! The ocean! He loved the beach and even though he was still unsure of the sand he was slowly learning to like the water. Atleast here the edge of the water was shallow and there was no fast current desperate to strangle him in it's depths.
This is the big water me and my pop searched for!

Frowning when he said that he'd never played it before, she quickly shrugged and decided that it'd still be fun. When he said that he had played a different version, she smiled again and her eyes brightened, as usual. "I can't wait," she yipped eagerly. "New games are the best."
The wolf seemed slightly perplexed as the trees began to thin out, for she had not come this far out in the land yet. Trin seemed even more confused when the grass turned to sand, and the strong scent of salt reached her nose. She had tasted it before on rocks she had chewed on as a pup, but it had never been this strong, and her eyes widened when she saw the ocean.
"Wow," she whispered, slowing down to focus on the water. "That's a lot of water!" Normally she would've felt sheepish for making such an obvious comment, but she was so entranced by the sea that she didn't notice.
"This is amazing!"

Remiel nodded, obviously very pleased with her reaction. He remembered seeing the ocean for the first time and how his eyes had almost rolled from their sockets. It still had that breath-taking effect on him and for a moment he was silent, standing next to her as he drank in the view.
It's the most amazing thing I've ever seen. He finally agreed, moving ever forwards through the sand and closer to the water, coming to a stand still just out of its reach.
Okay, so here's the game! It's called wave hopping! He pointed his nose out to the sea. You see the waves here, the raised bits of water that roll towards the sand? Well we stand in the shallow of the water and as one of the waves come close we have to jump over it and the wolf who gets the least wet after five jumps wins!
He glanced over to see her reaction.

She instinctively pressed herself closer to him, glad that she was here with a friend. This was a beauty that shouldn't be confined to one wolf alone, and Trin felt grateful towards Rem for bringing her here.
As he described the game, her eyes twinkled mischeviously but she feigned an annoyed expression. "But that's not fair!" she proclaimed, frowning. "You're taller than I am, so you can jump higher!"
After a moment of thinking about this predicament, she grinned devilishly. "I have an idea... how about I jump four times, and you jump five? That way I can stop sooner, since I'm shorter and I'd probably get more water in my fur, faster!" Tilting her head, she added, "Is that okay with you?"

Rem listened to her with a wide grin on his face, peering from her legs to his own. Well she was right! With a small nod he decided that it definately wouldn't be fair. He and his siblings had all been of similar size so he had never encountered this problem before.
Orrrrr... and the wide grin was still set in place, I could go out further so that the water reaches the same point on my legs as it does yours?
He waited to hear what she thought of that plan, wondering if it was as fair as it sounded. He was eager to start but he also wanted the game to be as fair as possible or else there was no point in playing!
