"Jugare!" The little Drow piped up, more than happy to hear Yashima was going to try and understand him...his Matron was trying too, but it was somehow better to hear his friend was trying. Unlike Neveah, Yashima had a choice of whether or not to try and understand him.

"You've gotten taller! I'm dreading the day Zah gets taller. I'm afraid he might more than tower over me." Neveah wasn't short, but she still didn't want her 'child' to be taller than her. Maybe that was just parental superiority talking, though. "And yeah, Ilhar means something like Mother. Maybe Mom or Mommy or something but...Mother is a safe bet, I think." She paused, then continued. "How's the family?" A nice, general question.

Prince was still staring at the older boy. His brother spoke funny words and he didn't care to understand the funny words, so he didn't bother listening to the conversation about the funny words. Instead, he was busy falling head over hooves out of the stroller. Neveah was about to run around to see if the deer boy was okay, but it turned out she didn't have to. Luckily, he landed on his diapered rear and his camoflauge blanket falling to drape over his head. Yay, he was one step closer to the shiney boy!

Duke poked his head out of the shadows of the stroller, his disproportioned ears perked up as he investigated his spotted twin. Though, he was most likely making sure the idiot was okay.

"Myar lerg!" He scolded the spotted baby in an attempt to keep him from crawling all over Yashi. Yashi was his friend and seat, thank you very much!

"I grew," He agrees, giving her a small smile. One hand, rested on the back of Zahs little hood, on the toddlers spine, petted at his friend. He was trying to reassure himself, tell himself that she was good. Just look at the wings. Wings wings wings. "When he grows to a kid, though... he'll remember stuff about himself. You should be careful about that."

"Yashi!" A loud, nasal voice called through the park. A tall man came into view, orange-red-yellow hair wild around his face and wearing a rather vulgar shirt. "Oi! Yashi! You little bastar--hello." He cut himself off quickly, black and white wings fluffing up. "What's this?"

The blue ears laid back on his skull more, face moving to hide behind Zah. "Iamel. This is Zah. And his family. You've prolly met them."

"He will...? Oh god, that's a big big problem..." For many reasons of course! Neveah really did look troubled about it, though...Zasalamel was already showing signs of being well...Drow, aside from the physical appearance. "I'll have to start binding my chest or something..." She said outloud, though she probably meant to think it. Oh well. When Iamel rounded the area, Neveah stopped and stared at him. Damn the kid was tall! MUCH taller than she remembered! "Holy s**t, Iamel." She said outloud, not really thinking before speaking. "When'd you sprout, eh?"

Zasalamel liked the pets! So much so that the toddler closed his eyes and bowed his head a bit. Sure he was a toddler, but toddlers still needed naps! And today had been a big day for him, what with the slingshot and the Yashi. Of course Iamel's appearance jolted him awake again, and the dark skinned boy stared up at him, the tree being enough to shade him from the sun. Wooooow, he was big! "Echk, Eeyahmel." He tried his hardest to parrot what Yashi had said was his name?

New kid? Forget shiney brother-unit-friend, New kid was by far more interesting now! Prince's tail started wagging in its weird little way once more, and instead of trying to get to Yashima, he decided to get to Iamel. He wanted to cuddle the wings. Apparently deer-like caution missed this one by a few thousand miles.

Duke had disappeared into the stroller again, once Iamel showed up. That kid was scaaaary.

Oh RIGHT. He remembered them, vaguely, from his time of bouncing and being smaller and all that s**t. It wasn't too long ago, but even that was starting to fuzz into the past - like it should, he was told. Things blurr and fall back in your mind.

Orange eyebrows arched and his thumbs hooked in his jeans, giving Neveah a rather charming grin. Iamel was good when it came to girls - Patrick said he had 'that' kind of grin when he was around people he wasn't related to and were vaguely around his age. Physically.

"Holy s**t, Neveah," He replied easily enough, moving a little closer to the girl. "I'm taller then Shiniee now, eh? And why would you bind your chest?" Yes. He was looking at her boobs now. There was no lewdness there, but his eyes WERE rested on her chest. "Do drows not like boobs? Wouldn't that hurt? What's wrong with them?"

"You shouldn't look at that part on girls," Yashima mumbled from behind Zah, giving him another pet-pet-pet on the back.

Unfortunately, Neveah wasn't paying attention to Iamel's grin. Duke had decided the safest place was as far back in the stroller as he could get...and he was just about to tip the stroller over from his shuffling. She did, however, look up to see Iamel staring square at her chest.

"My face is up here." Neveah calmly reminded him after a moment or two, not bothering to move to obstruct his view. Really, she didn't think she had to. "Congrats on growing...and I believe that makes you taller than me, too. Maybe. Do you know how tall you are?" Greeeeeat, another kid who decided to get tall, wonderful. Well, she was 5'6", average height. "Drow Males are afraid of females. A common female trait is boobs. Bind up the boobs, and I might be able to pass as androgynous...with the lack of big noticable hips, anyway." She sounded almost irritated. As she talked, she placed her hands on her hips, yep, still only a little wider than her waist. Oh well. "I imagine it'd hurt for a bit, but I'm sure I'd get used to it. I don't want him to be afraid of me." A short pause, and then. "And there's nothing wrong with them otherwise." She shrugged. Hey, there wasn't!

Now it was Zah's turn to stare at the two. After hearing what Yashima had mummbled, he grew throughly confused. His mother wasn't doing anything to correct Iamel's behavior. Why? He looked from Iamel to Neveah then back again.

Scrambling forward a bit, he picked up his slingshot, then sat back down on Yashi's lap, fitting the little tinfoil ball he had into the sling. If Neveah wasn't going to do something about it, he was! It was his right to protect his Matron, of course! The Drow took aim at Iamel, keeping both eyes open as instinct told him. He couldn't aim too high however, thanks to the sun.

He released the sling, and the tin foil ball sailed straight for Iamel's hip.

Prince, on the other hand, must have gotten bored of the movement, for he'd given up the hunt and had fallen asleep sprawled out on the ground.

"So what if it's up there? I was wondering about the ches--WHAT, Yashi?" The bird grumped, head tilting to the side, head tilting towards him. "Do you girls find that ofensive? Am I being offensive? And Shiniee said I was six feet tall."

Iamel was rather proud of that, glancing back up at the others face after he peered at the boobs once again. "I read that binding's an ancient practice in some parts of the seperate worlds. Women can do it to use bow and arrows or anything... I advise duct tape. Lots and lots of duct tape."

He nodded, glancing down at - meep! He jumped a little at the tinfoil on his hip, hand moving to smack his thigh a little. "What the hell? Kid?" The wide red eyes blinked down at the kiddlet Drow.

"....hi, Zasalamel." The bird murred out, glancing to the side at - deer. "And Fourth Wall kids? Right? Like keelah?"

Yashima snickered, reaching for Zah. "You stopped him," He assured the little drow, "You defeated the man bugging your Illhar."

"As pretty as they may be Iamel, the majority of women find people staring at their boobs offensive." Neveah, however, could care less. After all, Iamel was, though taller than she, younger...and obviously didn't know. "Six feet, huh?" Now she really didn't sound impressed. Great, he practically towered over her! Bah.

"Actually, it is an ancient practice, good for you! They're a nuisance unless you want kids, and even then its questionable..." At the mention of duct tape however, the butterfly woman cringed. "Yeah, problem with that. Duct tape hurts to take off. I think wrap bandages would be the best way to go...but enough talk about boobs! I just remembered there are little ones here, and I don't want to answer any future questions, and I'm not going to let you answer any of those future questions they may have so we're off that subject now."

Zasalamel looked really, really proud of himself when Iamel stopped, and his pride in himself grew when Yashima reassured him that he had won. "Echk, Eeyahmel." He repeated, waving one of his little hands. Go him! With a cheer of victory, the Drow turned and cuddled into Yashima, closing his eyes with a yawn. He'd protected his Matron like a big boy would, and it was his first victory against an older opponent! It was time to celebrate, and right now, celebrating meant taking a nap. Hey, Drow warriors needed naps too, okay?

"Aww, what a great protector." Neveah keened out, kneeling down to pat the hooded head of her 'son'. Aww, he looked so comfortable on Yashima! The butterfly didn't want to move the toddler, but... "If he gets uncomfortable, you can give him back to me, okay?" She offered the fox, just incase. As she went around to collect her other sleeping charge, she glanced up at Iamel and nodded. "Yep, Fourth Wall brats. Twin whitetailed deer, though Duke's albino--" She motioned back to the stroller. "--And Prince has nothing near the instinctual deer fear, as you probably guessed. The baby was snoring when she set him back into the stroller, and buckled him in.

Zasalamel grumbled something from Yashima's lap, and curled tighter against his friend, his little fists grabbing onto the kimono.

"I meant tape OVER an undershirt or whatever it is you girls wear." His hand waved slightly, thumbs moving to hook in his jeans. "What's wrong about hearing about boobs? At least they're not hearing about--"

"Iamel."

"--Sorry. Anyway..." He glanced down at Zah and Yashi, lips quirking into a cute little grin. The fox was snuggling the drow like it was his best friend - which it was - hand rubbing his back and the other hand holding him closer, nosing at the white hair. "Yashi, we should probably head home. Shiniee doesn't want us to be too late."

"Tousan can go die." Was the grumpy reply, lips pressed against his friend hair. "He left us. I don't feel like going back just because HE feels like it."

"Yashi," Came the warning tone, red eyes narrowing as he moved, giving the deer a fond little scritch. They were cute, "You were happy to see him."

"Now I'm angry. I'll go home with neveah and Zah." The fox grumbled. Iamels eyes rolled, lower jaw jutting out.

A sigh and a run through his bangs with one large hand. "I'm sure Neveah will let him spend the night sometime, yashi. Just.. please. Come one."

Neveah just stared at Iamel like he'd grown a second head and it was making faces at her. Seriously, was this boy dense or what? She was about to snap at him, but Yashima beat her to silencing him.

Instead, her attention turned to the conversation between the brothers. Patrick had left? What? Well, it had been a while since they last saw eachother...it was entirely plausable. But as the conversation went on, the nagging feeling of danger tugged on her mind, and the butterfly woman chewed on her lip in thought for a moment.

"Actually, Iamel...I think Yashima should stay with me the night. To let him cool down." She intervined The last part, she added a little quieter. As a folklorist, she'd seen many things...and by pure luck she'd managed to witness a situation like this once before. Yashima needed to cool down somewhere else, before things got worse. "I can call Patrick, if you want."

Both Zah and Prince mummbled happily in their naps: Zah because of Yashima's pets and nuzzlings, and Prince because he was dreaming of long grass and shiney things...and oh, because Iamel scritched him. Yay.

Not dense.. his mind just hadn't caught up with his body. The woodpecker was scowling at the little fox, moving over to crouch next to him. He was about two seconds away from saying something when Neveah spoke up.

Red eyes glanced up from under brows and tri-colored hair. He hadn't meant for it to look like a glare - the angle was simply very very bad. When Iamels head tilting upwards though, it was revealed that he was grinning.

"Yeah, fox-kit?"

"Don't call me that," Yashi all but snarled at his brother, cheeks puffing out like a chipmunks, arms wrapped around his little Drow-snugglebear more so - he was protecting Zah. Really. "But..." Pausing and glancing at Neveah, blinking a little. "Really?"

Neveah just thought he was dense, thats all.

The butterfly woman had been about to snap at Iamel for glaring at her for her indirect offer of help, but she shut her mouth when she realized he was not glaring, but grinning. Brat.

"I'll give him a call when we get home, okay?" She reassured the woodpecker, then turned back to the fox. "If you want to spend the night with us, anyway. I'm not forcing you too. I just...think it'd be a good idea." With another pause, she leaned her arms on the stroller's handle. "You might have a permanent leech or two, but you're welcome to stay the night." Secretly, she was thinking 'Hurrah! A night where I won't be bothered all the time!'

Zah's purple eyes opened for only a moment when Yashima's grip tightened on him. But all it took was a sleepy move of his lips, and a little squirm to bury his face into the crook of Yashima's arm, and he was right back out again. Prince just kept on snoring in his baby way.

Poor Neveah. Iamel didn't know when he was being stupid and off center about what was going on, but he DID know he had no ill will towards the woman, her brat OR his sibling. It was just how he was.

"Okay.." He agreed slowly, eyeing his little sibling suspiciously. One large hand landed on the others hair, flexing a little with a sigh. "Kit, you be okay, okay? Shiniee will SKIN me if he thinks you're in danger. You know the home phone number, right?"

Yashima nodded before yanking his head away, cuddling the small drow to his chest. The squirm and the snuggling more made the fox almost melt as he struggled to his feet, tails lashing.

"I don't mind leeches," He informed her, nodding and nuzzling hte hood/white hair of his friends head. "We have lots at home."

Neveah waved her hand a little. "Your Shiniee can tear off my wings if Yashi finds danger around my house." She was pretty confident it was more than safe, or else she wouldn't have bet her precious, frail wings.

"Now that it's settled, lets go home. I think Prince is trying to wake the dead..." True; Prince's head was tilted right back, his muzzle open enough for him to be snoring almost obnoxiously. The poor, disgruntled looking butterfly set to turning the stroller around. "Are you gonna follow for a bit, or do you have someone or something else to terrorize, Iamel?" Of course, her words had no ill intentions.

Zah stirred when Yashi tried to stand...and that more than likely DIDN'T help the fox at all. But the point is, all the moving got the little Drow's sleepy attention. His left leg twitched a little bit; a habit he had when he was both dead asleep and drifting between sleep and consciousness. "Nnn..Ahhshee?" He asked, his little voice heavy with sleep and confusion. When did he get on Yashi? Yawning so wide that tears came to his eyes, Zasalamel gripped onto Yashi and lightly dug his knees into the other boy's sides to keep himself up; he was comfy, but he was also slipping, and that wasn't good!

"Oooh, my spiderling's awake...I'm sorry, Yashi." Neveah laughed, waving her hand dismissively over her shoulder. Poor Yashi might end up with shattered eardrums, especially after the little Drow realized what was going on...which luckily, wasn't yet. The butterfly guided them home, checking occassionally over her shoulder to make sure Yashi was doing okay with the burden of Zasalamel.

"Shiniee wouldn't tear your wings. He'd study them, though." Iamel agreed, chewing at his lower lip with a little sigh, head shaking. "I have other things to terrorize. Who do you think cooks and takes cares of the brats around the house, huh? Certianly not Shiniee."

Yashi squeaked at the twitching and the yawning and - oh, the legs. The fox winced, straightening and cuping Zahs bum a bit for him to straighten up. "Yeah, Zawsaw? I'm gonna carry you, 'kay? I'm going to spend the night at your house." The fox gave a quick nod, nuzzling the white hair before he tucked the hood up over his friends head.

Iamel went home and Yashi followed after the butterfly, moving with careful, even steps, holding the toddler tight against his chest. He has had lots of practice with walking with children - they were shoved into his hands often enough.

To soothe the toddler, the kitsune started to hum, deep in his throat, cradling Zasalamel close as they moved closer to his home.

"Get in line" Neveah mummered under her breath at the comment about her wings...Philos was after her often enough for that, thank you very much. Though, she hid her grumblings behind a bright smile. "Good for you, Iamel. Patrick's lucky to have you! If your ever bored I think my brats would love you babysitting them." Hey, nobody said she couldn't plant suggestions!

After bidding her farewells to Iamel and guiding the strange-looking group home, Neveah did her best to wake the twins and get them distracted by the toys with shining lights on the floor. "Hungry, Yashi?" Neveah offered simply...she had to feed her brats, she might as well feed Zah's friend too.

Zasalamel didn't seem to mind Yashima carrying him, since the toddler drifted between snoozing, being awake and babbling in that odd language of his, and of course the awkward jumbling of the two. It was kind of cute, but no doubt strange. When they'd gotten home and once Zah had enough of eagerly and excitedly pointing out the grass and the flowers on the front lawn to Yashima, the little Drow wiggled himself out of the fox's grasp and tugged on his friend's hand; now he was wide awake and ready for trouble!

"Cahallin!" He chirped happily at Neveah, swaying awkwardly from the ball of his feet to his heels. "Cahallin, qualla! Nug'ri~" He sang out this time, clasping his hands behind his back. Pausing then, he swiveled to the side (and nearly lost his balance in the process), and stared up at Yashi. "Za, Ahhshee nug'ri?" Somehow, he sounded like he was parrotting Neveah.
