Again, taking into light the idea that flesh itself can only move so fast without tearing away, he cleared it. Going one step farther, taking into light the extreme LACK of durability said flesh between the legs has on every studied creature on the planet, said sac would have even less durabilityt against such a swing and to remain intact, WITHOUT causing the demon any severe pain, suffering, or suicidal thoughts, said sac could only go but barely so fast. All in all a very GENEROUS max speed for such a large apendage swing the way it is and its in top physical form would be 25 mph or considerably less to fit inside any form of reason.

He still clears the appendage as is at before said point ready to attack or defend. No extra amount of effort on the demon's behalf would do anything but cause it severe flashing thoughts of suicide as said sac tore away.

((K. The sac was worked out through PMs. Post date about 8:40 a.m. 3/3/06 Gaia time.))

This was now the time for the sac to be starting to take its toll on the demon. One of the man's eyes squinted as he was started to develop a massive headache from the strain of keeping the sac attack in play. If this kept up, the sac might go 'offline' too early to have dne something effectively for the demon.

The demon noticed the opponent clear the sac again. So, the sac came around for another atack in a full circle while moving closer to the opponent and making proper elevational adjustments to try to slam into him. This would coming around faster than the first circle at the start of this mess and thus hit harder. A blow from this could possibly shatter bones from initial impact as well as sending the opponent flying into the wall for much further damage.

((Unpause ))

Just as he predicted. He gave one hard beat of his wings to propell him upwards 5 feet. He may have cleared the obstacle but not the wind rush. As if it were a rip-tide he was pulled after it while still moving forward. This caused him to flip about in a dishevealed mess.

Quickly, he slashed wildly at the arm holding the growing ball as if to break the demon's focus. Ironically it wasn't any normal slash. The blade had been released from the gunblade and was moving slightly faster than it would if it wasn't pivoting on the hilt. The magnum hilt shot off a round point blank into the demon's face.

He was screwed when it came to much afterwards but the demon was more so screwed, seeing as its saccy..... ahem..... attack would throw the demon's maneuverability off kilter in the ways of dodging.

((Edit date: Wed Oct 11, 2006 7:34 p.m. ))

Upon the opponent reaching closer, the demon was able to get a closer view of the weapon type. He moved his arm a bit away from the slash until he noticed the blade portion dropping. Quickly tracing the line of fire, he places his arm in the middle of line of fire between the gun and his face. The shot was fired.

The result? Kyle's face was fine. Kyle's arm was fine as well. There was discoloration in the area where the bullet hit the arm sleeve of the robe. However, the bullet didn't penetrate. It had seemed the demon had came prepared for firearms being against him.

As for Kyle's answer to the gunshot? Let's just say he and the sac turned a lot swifter than previously. Unless, the winged opponent could think of something quick, he was about to be slammed into with a ton of force. Likely, bone breaking.

Edited on Thursday(Oct. 12) morning at 5:42 a.m. Eastern/Pacific.**

And that was the end of his basic aerobatics moves for a partial of a second, without inhibitors. Crap!

He bent his elbow rapidly, snapping the weapon in place just before the object slammed into him, leaving his elbow bent into it, his right metallic elbow.

The resulting blow didn't do much to bone, but as for pain? Well lets just say the enrves around his collar bone where metal met nerve were none to happy, bringing forth a scream as he was aimlessly flung AWAY from the way due to his elbow catching onto the sac long enough to swing around and away.

He rolled across the ground, clear across the arena causing many cuts on his back and even more bruises on his left arm. He was also none too happy to find the arm had temporarily released the blade leaving it 20 feet to his left and embedded at such an ugly angle that yanking it out could not be turned into an attack. Great........

His next move? By the looks of it nothing. He just stood there glaring and stretching the kinks back out of his wings. His right hand was rubbing higher on his left where one would normally not be bruised.

After the massive hit on his opponent, the sac had disappated. With one final quick circling, Kyle had thrown his orb at his opponent while the winged-man was rolling on the ground. The very same orbed that had been charging for practically the whole battle. As it sailed as fast as heck to the opponent, a large line was forming along the ground in the path wake of the orb. This being from the power being given off as it was sailing towards the opponent. Dodging the blade with is, it would come to just a foot before the winged man.

This would be where the demon would snap his fingers and the Orb would explode with tremendous, yet controlled power in which the diameter was about 20 feet. In the center, the power would push with 1500 pounds of force. As the explosion went outwards, the pushing force would decrease to reaching 0 at the endpoint. Meaning that where the winged man was, he would be hit with approximately 1350 pounds of force initially. If the man did not get pushed entirely out of arena via underground or through the wall, some major crushing damage might be done to him, instead.

As for the demon, he was safely away from the 'fireworks.' He clutched his head with both his hands in trying to deal with the massive head pain he had from maintaining the sac for so long. He would still be flying in the same spot as before.

((Hate this.... it deleted my post, sigh))

Like I said, it looked like he was rubbing his shoulder.... but no. The moment his sensors began to even detect movement of the demon's shoulder his arm kicked into gear. Inside of his arm were 6-8 blades that could come out into the shape of his choice. In his previous fight he had made a sheild. his other options were only up to his mind. This time he made a made of sorts.

At the beginning of the fight he had tucked away his shades when things started to pick up...... or grow in size is more to say. Well he had tucked them away inside a panel inside his arm. Remember the glimmert those shades gave off? It was the glimmer from a rune spell having been cast upon it. Initially the spell repelled things, like dust and water, away from the shades to keep them clean but we all know how dangerous it is to destroy a magic sealed item. This one however had a second rune to help with this.

He ejected the shades onto the ground and brought the mace down as fast as any machine could move since about this time he could see the demon's arm move to launch the ball. He had already predicted the obvious (though needless to say he overestimated it to be a nuke of sorts) and had this plan well thought out.

Once the mace hit he was shoved back 2 more feet as a sheild 'rejected' him back. This sheild was a dome shaped magic feild. To put it bluntly it reflected or nullified magic and objects. For magic it had both positive and negative magic elements..... which we will call 'magic ions' for now for simplicitie's sake. Both types held next to each other and causing a tight sheild that was held together like a metal to magnet. Well when any form of magic hit these ions they either go slow enough and become part of the sheild or, for the faster moving ions, get bounced back as the sheild expands and then retracts into place. Seeing as its magic it doesn't break. Now for the magic energy from the blast this will prove bad for the demon since the explosion is so spontaneous that it would pretty much instantly hit the sheild then instantly fly back at him.

As for the fire and what not incase the explosion isn't solely magic? Well the sheild rediates force due to the ions being tightened together, or trying to push apart in half the cases. If anything got too close, like Zelkin did, it would simply shove it back. For an explosion this would.... nullify it seeing as one area of the exploding force would be pushed back onto another moment of force, negating the two. It would come bac k at the demon some but only about as much as an average punch to the chest from a drunk. Obviously only enough to move and not hurt. This sheild would last for ten seconds without any magic or force on it. Once either hit the magic or force would power it so to say long enough to hold up however long the opposing force held. An expensive spell indeed. And an obvious one time use...... not taking into account whatever the rune on his boots could be. Once the explosion died Zelkin would already have been up, backed away from the sheild, and running once he saw it down..... mace ready to take off the demon's head if it survived the blast of rejected magic.

Might I mention his running has slowed only half a step and his mouth had a tricle of blood flowing from it.

Zelkin might have a hard time reaching the demon. Afterall, Zelkin was on the ground while Kyle was in the air. High enough to be well outta ground-based melee combat. Now onto the explosion..

The demon was disappointed that his orb wouldn't go off as planned due to some thinger being putted in between the path of his opponent and the orb. He simply shrugged and extended out his hand during the explosion going off. The same energy that the demon used before shot forth out of his hand toward the explosion itself. The strand of energy touched the explosion, then a strange thing happened.

The explosion would look like it is being vacuumed back toward the demon's hand. Meanwhile, There was some devastation left in the ground in front of the dome. The ground looked like it had a deep half arced circle 12 foot ( at it deepest point ) 'moved' it around. As for the energy, quickly the energy beign vacuumed ( including the portions that were being reflected back )formed back into an orb in his hand. However, the orb was at appropromixately 1/2 the power of which it was at launch. The rest of the energy was spent against the shield, in the air, or in the ground.

(( Think of this as an 'interrupt' to recycle some lost energy due to the new toy on the field. ))

((I doubt it would remotely work like that but...... eh. its an rp.))

Seeing as how Zel was already mentioned to have wings it wouldn't be too much to consider him launching himself off the ground just as he reached the messy floor and sailing over it and upwards towards the demon. Of course at about this point he'd be right in the demon's face taking the hard swingto its head.

And of course if that didn't work he had a rune he would merely run his mind over and snap open his left hand, all it really doing is showering forth needles...... the nasty kind that either blind you, pin you to a wall, or kill you from bleeding. He was going for the first two.

(( 1. We both gotta agree to it. 2. I still woulda had another 24 hours or so atleast. 3. I am ok with longer than 3 days on deadline until the fights get down to the last few. Even then, I allow for 1 day past deadline unless we are the last fight in the bracket. Do you still wish to go by the 2 day (48 hour) thing versus the normal 3 day ( 72 hour ) deadline? ))

It would be while the man's sailing upwards that possibly his sensors would go off again. To detect a quick massive buildup of magical energy ( not like the demonic energy ) at the demon's feet. The demon's wing also looked to be acting strange. When the mace is swung, the wings flap the demon upwards to have the mace miss greatly while the demon quickly tucked in his feet. He then pushed his feet outwards towards the man before the needle launch.

His feet would obviously not reach the man, however the massive energy build up was sure to it. The release was meant mainly as a knockback with the burst of force from the energy trying to slam into the man at 70 mph.

(( If the knockback attack doesn't work, at what speed would the needles come at him? Arrowish or bulletish? ))

((Ick. My time perception seems to have been a bit askew. thought it was three days..... though I knew you'd post when you did. Thurs-friday is one and fri to sat is two.... ok. I see now. No no. Lets just stick with the three day standard. And I do believe we are one of four active fights in the arena.))

Oh he saw the build up of energy but he guessed one of two things would happen. Since nothing in its right mind would try to risk a concussion and duck under a mace swing it would either go up or try and vanish in smoke...... but jumping dimensions in a split dimension like this (the arena being one dimension and the spectators being another...... kinda like how you can't teleport a bag of holding without causing a dimensional rift...... Forgotten Realms has its good theories) would kill them both so he presumed the demon went up. He flapped his wings upwards in time with the demon, and still about an average five steps away. He swung in time with the demon kicking under him and would connect about the time the force would striek below him. Some of the shockwaves from the force would connect with his boots but barely anything.

As he would swing with the mace on his right he would shoot with his hand on his left.

The needles would not be bullet speed but they'd be close. To be exact they'd be traveling at about 7/8th's the speed of a bullet. They would, for shortest poiint of the idea, hurt..... anything. Them being a casted magic they would sear most spectres to the point of crippling or running and screaming.... if they did not first pin it to something, and in the case of everything that could be physically touched they'd embed, starting at only 4 inches long, and once they have connected they would explode with growth to the point of being able to impale most horses and pinning the corpse against a wall since they would not stop there course until the hit stone or sand, unless they reached their max distance of 500 feet.... depending on the casters ability to live that long. To a demon or something inhuman they would burn, and poison its blood with a type of slow magic. this trick would not have been revealed unless they struck but....I'm bored.

His mace swing? In most tested human cases it merely tore all the bones out of their sockets, ripped the tissue, and impaled the brains on the 4 inch spikes.... effectively and gorily removing the head of a basic raced humanoid. In the case of a horse or cow (rp tested.... no cows of the unevil sort were harmed in this test) it would remove a diagonal half of the head and turned the rest into a mush.

In the case of a single demon previously named Torech it would first stun the severely damage the previous demi god demon to thepoint of what one might be dumb enough to consider death, when in truth it is cooping with the pain and delayed regen, before catching fire and being banned from the realm of beings, all thanks to those ugly wings Zelkin always seems to show in the face of something dark and mischevous.

In the case of Kyle, things might take a turn for the worse. The mace swing would miss. This would be due to the demon quickly tucking in his feet again after the energy launch.

The needle launch would be bode so well for the opponent. Possibly due to attacking in an unwise manner? Using the needle launch so quickly to a weapon swing like that brings the very likely possibility that some of the needles will collide with the weapon arm. Afterall, the weapon arm is still moving in front of the needle launch.

As for the needle that were coming toward the demon, they would meet a barrier. They would embed themselves a little in the barrier, but not be close enough to be touching the demon. According to the opponent's post, at a point of connection, the needles would explode with growth. The barrier would not let them come closer to the demon, which left one other direction for them to grow in. That would be towards Kyle's opponent. As per the growth, they would try to impale and pin toward's the opponent. Should they be successful, he would be 'burned' and his blood be poisoned by the slow magic.

As for what Kyle would do. He would see what would happen thanks to the 'development' of the needles.

(( It may not seem important now but he still has his adamantium staff in his non-uberorbed hand. Just letting you know. Your guy is close enough to see it. ))

((Well that sure is a nasty little stick I forgot about. I believe you mentioned it at the beginning of the match. And now I have a few questions that pertain to the match. If Zelkin and they demon are eye level how would tucking in one's feet make him miss? Also, obviously, I thought it was insinuated with the words just in case the mace swing didn't work, the needles wouldn't be shot until the mace swing was out of the way. And last of all what about this barrier, as in what is it, where did it come from, if it came from the mind how was it summoned so fast if the demon was too stunned to attack a moment ago, whats its dimensions, its types, so on so forth. Not to be rude but now consider yourself Ichigo (minus the childishness and plus on the random uber blocks) and me Hector going...... huh?))
