Ramone was glad that the plan worked. When he took his shield and sword loose from the earth he shook his shoulders and got into a strking stance.
His new plan was simple. He jumped a little bit forward like usual, activated his leg and back thrusters on just a little, which was enough to move him across the stadium quite fast. Then when Ramone got within 15 feet of Brahm, Ramone slowed down a bit dettaching the shield and grabbing it where he could now hold the bottom of the shield just with his hand (Instead of having it attatched to the wrist.)
Then once Ramone was with in 10 feet of Brahm he pulled his shield back, as if he were going to use the shield as a second sword, and threw it like a throwing knife straight at Brahm. He then put more power to the boosters and took a big leap. It brought Ramone atleast 10 feet into the air doing a twist so that when he landed he would be facing Brahm from behind, and when he landed he was only 5 feet behind him and Ramone swung his sword down on Brahm.
It could have been easy to dodge the thrown shield but woundn't be easy to dodge the sword swing behind him. Dodging both of them would be very hard.

He expected Ramone to be right on top of him as soon as he got back on his feet. His entire right side felt like it was on fire, which in the end was actually making him kind of giddy as his body upped his endorphin levels to cope. He was grinning like a fool as his opponent charged in, taking a low and hunched over stance to prepare for whatever was coming to him. His grin widened to that of a maniac as Ramone made a mistake of titanic proportions.
Sure, it would be difficult to dodge both the shield and the sword. Which is why Brahm didn't dodge the shield at all. Instead he caught it by slapping his hands against it's flat sides just before it cut him half. He then wheeled around, partly because the shield still had alot of momentum behind it, and partly because Ramone was vaulting over his head. Since the shield was nearly as tall as he was blocking the sword blow was fairly easy from there.
As the sound of sword and shield colliding rang through the stadium, Brahm felt the change of pitch in his engine. His eyes widened as the mechanical parts within him shifted. There was always a quick adrenaline rush accompanied with this, as well as a massive surge in his engine's output. He felt like a bomb just seconds before it explodes, which was nearly true.
"ENGAGING THIRD GEAR!!!"

This had startled Ramone just a little bit. But Ramone knew that his wepons would be useless.
He threw his sword into one of the stadium walls. Ramone saw that his opponent was about to step it so he decided to step it up too. His back leg had its thusters activated, he aimed his kick straight from Brahm's stomach, when the foot was just lifted off the ground the thrusters moved the leg extremely fast. Not only was it fast, it was full of power.

Brahm attempted to block the sudden kick with the large shield, but it was entirely too fast. He did manage to thrust it out and block his opponent's shin, but the kick itself still hit him pretty squarely and knocked him up into the air. For most people this probably would've been a severe turn in the fight. Not for Brahm, who was built (almost literally) like a locomotive and weighed half a ton stark naked.
So it was that Brahm was not knocked into the air terribly far. A sharp inhale followed as he attempted to recover the air that had just been knocked out of his lungs, followed by the sound of a small explosion. Brahm had to release the built up pressure in his chambers at that moment, lest they otherwise explode and likely kill him. This sent him shooting at a downward angle, full blast, right towards Ramone with the shield in front of him like a human battering ram.

Ramone was happy with what he saw. From what Ramone had known he figured that Brahms maneuverability was not as good as his.
Ramone put every thuster on maximum output, this caused a small crater in the ground, and sent him fast into the sky with his arms back and ready to move.
Once he reached Brahm he put both hands out very fast above him and tried to slide himself just by Brahm. Then once brahm had passed Ramone changed direction and head right after Brahm hoping to land a hardy punch on his exaust pipes.
