The orange coat is faded and the 12 or so gold buttons on the are falling off.... the pant are okay but we keep having to replace the supenders... But the worst part? They're wool....why they picked wool I don't know. Mississippi it almost never gets cold enough for wool uniforms. Which means all the uniforms kinda smell because they have been sweated into for the last 13 years.... we got r band uniforms when the school opened like 15 years ago!now most of them r ripped and smelly! crying and back then people were smaller so the uniforms fit us REALLY wierd! neutral

Hmm... We just got new ones, and I don't know what they look like yet, but from what I've heard they sound cool. Our summer uniforms are cool. We just wear mesh shorts with a white polo that says Heath High School Marching Band. I had to wear mine today for pictures... biggrin

We threw our old uniforms out, they had things growing in them. >.<

Our band uniforms are SO ugly. They look like witch cotumes. The band mommys order them too big (how much do they think we can grow in 4 years?), and they kind of gape a bit.

my band's uniform this past season was ok, but we're getting new uniforms next season! And they are the bomb! seriously, gauntlets (not like the 1s on gaia) & all! whee

Ours are white, orange and black.. and we look like military personel. We have black pants and black shoes with them.. and the pants are like overalls. There is a little hook on the collar of our coats, and to the inexperienced, its difficult to hook, so you go to someone and say "will you be my hooker?" It's humerous... espically for freshman... but i love our hats and plumes. They are my favorite part of hte uniform.
I hate our concert uniforms. Everytime I put mine on.. I'm reminded of the part in the movie Anastasia when she gets a new dress, holds it up and says, "You bought me a tent... I'm looking for the Russian circus.. I think it's still in here!" Oh man.

XD the only time we hate ours is when its 90 in september..otherwise... when it gets to 20 and below in november...we love them.
O_0; they do...smell fine..but in some wierd happenings people have gone into the uniform smelling fine, come out smelling fine, and then! O_o; when you wash the shirt...the deoderant reacts with whatever the cleaners used to clean the uniform...and your shirt is ruined. wierd...only happened once or twice, =3..that uniform became shunned x.o;
They are traditional, and some of us wore them for halloween(hahaha thats band spirit for you!)
I am the Drum Major, so I got to choose my uniform...=3....because i had to pay for it, thus i get to keep it too!
3nodding Its all good over on this end of marching uniforms...

Does anyone else but us use marching uniform for concert season too? only symphonic band march at my school and its a more formal military uniform so it looks like a suit almost kinda

I love our uniforms.
They're dark blue with red and white embroidery.
And gold buttons.
The hats are very nice, too.
The plumes are a little on the plain side.
I think the uniforms are very classy and they'll still look good ten years from now.
