We have this stupid 'Chinese' restaurant in our town, China Star, and the people who run it think they can soak anything in soy sauce and call it Asian food. Man...like everything they serve is that brownish color. The only thing I like there is their egg drop soup and the fried rice.
Now, my auntie has revolutionized the town. She opened up an Asian restaurant with authentic Asian food. ^^ I'm so happy.

mochi and nori! good snacks.... and arare, if i can get my hands on it.
as for meal food, i go for tempura, udon and sushi, so long as it's not a california roll or roe of any kind... fish eggs have never been appealing to me. sweatdrop
other food (lol, there's so much here): som tam (Thai papaya salad), lumpia heart blaugh (Filipino pork, banana, or vegetable filled rolls), and egg blossom soup are all great too. xd heart

I personally like all kinds of sushi, Japanese pizza, yakisoba, udon, miso soup, green tea ANYTHING, lots of various types of candy, mochi, and a bunch of other wonderfully tasty things that I'm too tired to fathom at this moment. sweatdrop

Ichigo1417 I like teriyaki chicken. I made it one weekend along with stir fried veggies and california raool (didn't like some of the California rolls) Hee hee, Mom used to buy california rolls from the Korean store, except for we called them 김밥 - kimbap. I didn't quite make the connection between the two of them until we had them at my friend's house. I didn't like them much, the vegetables were a little yucky. I don't like cooked veggies. I like seaweed a lot though. Has anyone here tried the ice cream mochi? Those are TO DIE FOR!
