"Actually, I was thinking about that yesterday, if Moreau ever thought he needed a nice airplane for the island instead of his usual helicopter fleet. Yeah, the PBY is pretty important to me. When you spend that much time putting work and sweat into something, its hard not to miss it. I'll probably be even more put off by it when I realizes I'm not there to fly 'other' airplanes either."

Alex takes off his leather jacket and hangs it up, then returns to his desk, grabbing one of his cokes from the mini fridge nearby.

"It'll be hard to say how I take everything. You know, changing won't be hard until the loss of the hands show up. Sure, I might not be flying for the company, but I'll still be good with a wrench and screwdriver. Sometimes staying busy is a good way to not focus on one's problems, or thats what I've been told anyways. Plus, I bet the onsite mechanics aren't that great. Plus, I'd love to get my hands on at least the helicopter's engine for about half a day. Give it a little tune up, make sure its not leaking fluids, go over it with a fine tooth comb."

The pilot sips his coke slowly, as he takes off his glasses as well, sliding them into the wood draws contained within. He then propped his feet up, relaxing.

"Plus, its not like I ever got my helicopter flying license either. Airplanes aren't nearly as difficult to learn to fly as copters. I know the concept, but knowing the concept and flying one are two different things."

He takes another short sip, and set the can down, before turning his gaze to the ceiling.

"As for how I'd react, I'm not sure I really know. I mean, once my hands go, thats pretty much it. I'm probably gunna be wanting to peck someone's eyes out, but since there's always that problem with the chips in people's heads, I'm sure it'll be a lot of just bad feelings, until I can find something to focus on, you know, stay busy with. Engine repair will be out by then. Flying planes will REALLY be out. Maybe flying with wings will be able to fill the void left by them." He smirked a bit as he thought a bit to himself. "You know, I just realized, I'd have my wings clipped, only so I could grow my own." He shook his head and sat back up.

"So in the end, who knows what will happen exactly? If I was gunna take a guess though, I'd say I'll be falling into those 5 Stages of Grief thing by the time stuff is said and done. What were they again? Disbelief, anger, something, something, and acceptance?"

Oh? Well, I wouldn't mind some RP. I'll have to leave in a short bit, since I have to go to another office, and I won't be back till I get home. But, anyways, RP would be good. What did you have in mind? And thanks for the bode of confidence. biggrin Its nice to know folks really like the concept.

Although I'm wondering why your concept is going to be changing now. Figured you'd try for something different or came up with something you think is a sure fire winner?

I see. Well, I guess trying to make that concept contest entry would make sense.

As for the animal, for me, I went something that would fit his concept, although I guess the reverse works in well to short of show the division between two different worlds. Good luck with it, with whatever you pick though.

And as for the RP, thats quite alright. I'm not opposed to RP that takes days to get through a few posts. I work, and have a lot of things I have to do, both during the work week, as well as the weekend, so I'm pretty flexable with stuff.

And as for Alexander being a good person to start Alexia RPing with, well, hey not sure what amusements might happen but I'm sure it'll be good. I've got AIM, although I don't post that information here, just because of issues with trying to keep my IM spam down. But sure, we'll shoot for later then.
