"Oh? I must confess that this surprises me m'lady - any male who fails to see your divine qualities is evidently blind." Paramekia pointed out smoothly, taking a step back as she made herself more comfortable and restore her own personal space, though he was rather plased to see that she hadn't given him a look of absolute horror as she did move away...was she deliberating raising his hopes?
"But rest assured that you will no doubt hear more from me, I find it appalling that you have not heard such phrases more often." Flashing a small smile as she laughed he relaxed his shoulders ever so slightly and seemed to 'shrink' by a few inches making him somewhat more approachable in comparison to how 'daunting' he may have looked at his full height of 18 hands.
"I must thank you for your compliment though, however, I do believe your name flows more easily off the tongue than mine - might I enquire as to why I have never encountered you before? ...Or should I already know the answer?"

"Oh my." Ailurinae let out a small whisper as she gasped at Paramekia's words. Oh. My. Gosh! And I think he means it too! It was the stallion's smile and not his small decease in size made her feel more at ease, as he didn't seem like the type that would smile so freely. Again, she would've blushed if it were possible. Any more compliments like that and the skin underneath her cheeks would burn so bright that it would show through her thin white coat, and there was no way she wanted the embarassment of that.
The mare cocked her head a little, wondering how best to answer the male's question. "I never really stay in one place for too long." She shrugged lightly, which she only realised was very un-lady like after she had done it. Stupid shoulders! "I just go where I want to go, you know?"
A fond smile graced her face soon after. "I've visited this forest many times though, and I've never come across this clearing. Maybe it's me who has been missing you."

Haha! The stallion flushed slightly under his thick coat and his eyes developed a bemused twinkle as the mare gasped. Once again she had proved to be quite unlike the others and much to his delight she had accepted them without feeling as though he was trying to seduce her - although the thought had crossed his mind when he had first clapped eyes on her.
He made a mental note: Compliment, frequently.
Even so, his smile grew a little more and the corners of his lips seemed to rebel against his attempt to control them as they twitched slightly. He found it even harder when she gave a light shrug and then seemed to consider it inappropriate. She was a coy little beauty to say the least and very presentable.
Potential? He certainly thought and such thoughts were continuing to grow as he admired her ever changing expression. From what he could see, she never seemed to hide behind a stoic expression while he tended to (not that he had a problem with his own face, it just seemed nicer for the mare to express herself freely).
Nevertheless, he eventually realised she was speaking to him once more and promptly cleared his throat as he gathered his thoughts and attempted to recount what had been said. She wandered a lot, yes, he had gathered that by the manner in which she had made him chase her in a circle.
But as for him...
"Admittedly I only just stumbled upon this clearing myself, moments before I heard your laughter... Perhaps the reason you missed me was because I do not hail from these lands. One might same I am of foreign blood but had I known that you resided here I might have left my home a considerable amount of time earlier..." He pointed out delicately, canting his head to the side with another chime of his hair ornaments.
He really would have left earlier if he had known, but now, he was more surprised and why he had claimed his mother was wrong in her assumption that he would find something of beauty outside of his own lands. Why was it that she always seemed to be right?
"I do not suppose you have ever heard of someone by the name of Luciole?" He added haphazardly. Well he might as well take a stab in the dark and see if she had met his mother.

Ailurinae wasn't a curious creature by nature, but looking at Paramekia, she found it difficult not to wonder about what sort of land he had come from. Could he be from an entirely different world?
As the stallion confessed that he would've left his home a long time ago had he known about her, that same almost inaudiable laugh he had first heard found its way back, accompanied by the tiniest glimmer in her eyes. "I would love to hear about your lands sometime. If you're anything to go by, they must be pretty amazing." It wasn't a compliment as such. To her, she was simply stating the obvious, and she was quite sure that the male was already aware of how incredible he looked.
Ailurinae pursed her lips as she said the name Luciole under her breath. It was rather difficult to pronounce. "No, I don't believe I have." Her tail suddenly flicked to one side, before falling freely around one of her back legs. "Is that your mate?" Did I just ask that?! The shy mare would never usually jump to such an assumption, but again, looking at the male, she would've found it hard to believe that he was single. Too good to be true even.

Did she just...? A small twinkle of amusement flashed into his eyes and he released a brief peel of laughter. He wasn't laughing at her compliments, but he was terribly amused by how she had assumed Luciole was his mate...it seemed that every female seemed to assume he was taken for some obscure reason.
...Well he knew he was attractive but that was often cancelled out by his apparent 'arrogance'.
"No, she is not. Luciole is my mother, you have a demeanor very much like hers." He explained in an almost fond manner, his now 'lazy' ear twitching slightly as one of the ornaments upon his horn brushed against its tip. "Why, are you interested?" He enquired, not so subtly raising a brow.
"As for the lands in which I come from, they are most certainly beautiful and very exotic. These lands are somewhat plain in comparison but in a way, it is refreshing and I find I can appreciate what beauty I do see much more in the presence of such bland plant life." A warmth came into his eyes as he recalled his home, a small sigh escaping from his lips. In ways he missed the lush rainforests with their snow capped mountains, actually, he rather liked those mountains.
"You might say it has even larger and brighter flowers than this. Lakes as far as the eye can see with monstrous rivers flowing into them, should you follow those rivers you can often see rather high-rising waterfalls as well. If you sound close enough they sound like thunder." He gave a soft whicker and canted his head to the side, admiring how her eyes seemed to twinkle when she laughed.
"We also have quite a few mountains with snow on them that never seems to melt - even in summer."

Ailurinae almost gasped again as Paramekia let out a laugh of his own, albeit brief. Eek! His mother?! "Oh! I'm sorry, I just thought..." She trailed off. Well, at least I remind him of his mother. That's a good thing, right? The mare looked almost startled at the stallion's next comment and shook her head vehemently. "No! I mean yes! No! I-" Realising that she was rambling, she fell quiet, a very embarassed look on her face. Her eyes flickered shut, as she tried to recover herself and her thoughts. What had caused her to respond in such a way?
She eventually found the courage to look back at him again, as he described his home lands to her. They sounded wonderful, and she wanted to tell him that, but she felt as though she had made a complete fool of herself, and didn't want to risk making things worse. Her body shifted awkwardly as she glanced away from Paramekia towards the forest. "I should probably go." Her tone of voice was solemn. Clearly, she had upset herself with that crazy little display, so she had no idea how much it may have upset or annoyed the much more confident stallion.

"What...?" Paramekia appeared to be a tad confused as she attempted to take her leave. As far as he was aware, things had been going along quite nicely but evidently he had misread the signs. Clearing his throat, it only took a few seconds for the stoic expression and the steely eyes to return, restoring him to his rather insolent glory.
"If that is what you desire then I will not prevent you from taking your leave, Lady Ailu." The stallion, having regained his composure from the initial surprise, responded in as polite a manner as he good. To be entirely honest he felt like a foal, or a duck out of water - it wasn't often he mistook signs and body language...
Even so, it was rather evident that he hadn't found her rambling to be an irritation. His eyes had glinted more so out of amusement at that period of time than anything, even his ear had twitched as he had actually considered it to be rather sweet.
"I hope I will have the pleasure of your company again, when you next find yourself nearby." He added softly, a hint of disappointment in his voice.

Sensing the stallion's disappointment, Ailurinae bowed her head. "I'm sorry." With that, she reared up a little on her hind legs in order to turn herself around, before walking slowly away from him. If she just kept walking straight, she would eventually exit the forest.
All she could think about was was the possibility that she had made a complete fool out of herself, in front of the only male that had ever payed her any real attention.
(( heart We should do another RP soon... ))

//Yessum, give it a lil time and we'll arrange the next one! <3
The stallion's ears drooped slightly as he watched the young mare go. Usually he wasn't bothered when a female took her leave due to the fact that they had often insulted him just moments before, but she hadn't. So, much to his surprise he was more than just unhappy that she had taken her leave - he really had taken quite a liking to her.
"Farewell, Little Nymph." He murmured under his breath before at last, turning around himself and drifting back into the depths of the forest. There was something not quite right with being alone in such a beautiful place, perhaps next time he had company he would return...
