He couldn't help it, that grin was contagious. But the way he smiled, it made Xenophon feel confident that the rat was truly all right. "Okay, then. Race you back up the hill!" he responded before dashing back up the decline they had rolled down. His tail waved slightly as he ran, laughing as he did so.

Tran continued grinning happilly "your on" he yelled and began up the hill as well, he used his hands to give himself more traction and he quickly gained on the cat

Xenophon glanced back quickly to see how close Tran was gaining and yelped slightly as he found it was rather fast! As they neared the top, Xen gave up on trying to outrun the speedy Tran as he was almost passing him. Instead, he turned around and tackled him, skidding a little before tumbling down the hill once more. It wasn't so much that he was a sore loser, more that he didn't know what else to do once they got up. Why not do so twice?

Squeaking as he was tackled he flew sidewars before tumbling back down the hill. Laughing the whole way down, once they reached the bottem Tran wrestled to be on top

Xenophon bit at Tran's arm lightly as he play-fought for the top position, though it didn't really matter to him. This was more fun than he had gotten since he was but a kitten, and he was sure having a time of it! Spinning around in Tran's grip, he bolted forward a bit and spun around, tackling him from the back and spinning into a roll once they had hit the ground. "Bwahahaa!" he laughed, trying to sound devilish as his tail waved.

Tran giggled and rolled with the blows to avoid either of them getting hurt. He wrapped his tail around Xenophon and began wresting once more

Xenophon attempted a playful growl, but it only managed to sound somewhere between a purr and a gurgle, not menacing in the least bit. He didn't seem to notice, however, being as distracted as he usually was with outside forces. He laughed, however, showing how much fun he was having. He couldn't get this kind of exercise -- or enjoyability -- at home where he lived, as everyone else was usually off in their own little worlds with their own personal problems. Why couldn't any of them let go of all their worries once in a while and just have some fun? Or at least, stay with him and have some fun. Either way, he was grateful to have bumped into Tran for this reason, and was determined to keep it that way. He gripped onto Tran's right arm and shoulder with both of his own and attempted another growl, trying to pull him to the floor.

Tran burst into another fit of giggles as he was pulled down to the ground by Xenophon. He let out his own little squeak and bumped into the groun with the boy laying on him. "hey" he said as a greeting to Xen's new dominant position. Tran struggled and wriggled in an attempt to get back up still giggling

"Bwahaha! Got you!" Xen cackled between snickers before leaning over Tran's shoulder to get a look at his face. He was still gripped tightly around the rat's arm, but he wanted to make sure Tran was still having fun. After all, there have been times when he had tackled someone where they had protested angrily back at him afterward, and he didn't want to make his new-found friend angry as well! However, this was a rather childish thought, as every time he had done it before it had been out-of-the-blue, but Xen couldn't see why people got angry at him and hated it. Seeing that Tran was having as much fun as he was, though, he let out with another half-growl and rolled off of him, spinning around to face him again, crouching playfully with his tail swaying from side-to-side. "Ready for another go?" he asked with a devilish smile.

The rat giggled brushing the growing moehawk from in front of his face before crouching as well "always" he challenged and lunged to make a tackle, they were moving closer to the hill again

"Heh," he just managed to laugh as Tran came lunging for him. He jumped straight upright and grabbed the rat in the air before he tackled him, even though Tran still managed to knock him back to the floor. "Bwa ha!" he cackled as he wrapped his arms around Tran's shoulder once more, trying to vie for top position. His ears twitched as the feeling of the grass reached the tips of his ears as he, too, realized how close they were getting to the hill again. "I wonder if we can roll upwards..." he contemplated aloud as he paused in his wrestling to look at it.

"Really? You've done it before?" Xenophon asked curiously, intrigued over the thought. So it wasn't impossible! He had never tried it before, usually finding himself in a flatter area, but he was determined to try it now. "Can we, can we?" he pleaded like a child, smiling mischeviously. He wanted to do it, too!

Tran laughed and untangled himself from Xen "alright alright, watch me" he said running down the hill and laying down. The boy began pushing himself and rolling up the hill his elbows helping a bit as he grunted and rolled up.
