... -raises her and shyly- Maybe the weapons you can use can be based on the species of anthrobreedable you possess? Like, say for my Widow, he would be able to use something like ... Well, webs for one, and maybe the use of iron wire that he can use like webs or something. -shrugs- Then for a feline, say, they could use their claws and teeth and their tail and some other specialized weapons just for felines. Or you could... always let the person pick their weapon before the battle... -nods-

...That works too, thanks for the suggestions.

m'kay, SPIDERS may use webs that are stronger than steel, as well as poisons.

Snakes can use poison, and can cast healing spells/produce antivenoms and healing potions. See Aesculapius for reference. also, see Midou Ban for reference.. they now have a 200kg grip. biggrin

Scorpions can use poisons as well.

all anthros may use edged blades but only predator-based anthros can use claws and fangs.

Predator-based anthros... such as hawks and stuff, right? Though... what about butterflies and mermaids? Orcas, too. Should they have magic based weapons?

I just thought about something. What about unicorns? And squirrels too! If butterflies have light based magic and illusion spells, what about unicorns?

Unicorns have divine magic ( purification, damage against demonic entities) + Healing+ plant magic. X.x

Squirrels have plant magic + Agility, + flight (if flying squirrels) or dexterity (for normal squirrels) + Thieving skill (i.e. loot muchly)

Plant magic (see Youko Kurama for Reference.)

unicorns are a symbol of purity and in some cultures, a variant called a Kirin is a symbol of divine rule/mandate of heaven, from what I can remember. Thus, your unicorn will have magics similar to Magnus Exorcismus from the game Ragnarok Online.

In other words, Unicorn= cast clerical spells like healing, light, purification, and are particularly effective against demons. and undead hordes.

20+ clerical spell damage against undead/demon type.

In the words of a Filipino RO player... 'Pa-heal-plz!'

Er... sadly, you don't. D: I don't play Final Fantasy Tactics, Never have. The kirin I refer to is as stated below.

Kirin, the Japanese and Korean word for the Qilin, a mythical beast in Chinese culture;

Qilin
The Qilin, also spelled Kylin (Chinese: 麒麟; Pinyin: qílín; Wade-Giles: ch'ilin), Kirin (in Korean and Japanese), Sabitun Sabintu (in Manchu), or Kỳ lân (in Vietnamese), is a mythical hooved Chinese chimerical creature that is said to appear in conjunction with the arrival of a sage. It is a good omen that brings rui (Chinese: 瑞; pinyin: ruì; roughly translated as "serenity" or "prosperity"). It is often depicted with what looks like fire all over its body.

Although it looks fearsome, the Qilin only punishes the wicked. It can walk on grass and yet not trample the blades and it can also walk on water. Being a peaceful creature, its diet does not include flesh. It takes great care when it walks never to tread on any living thing, and it is said to appear only in areas ruled by a wise and benevolent leader (some say even if this area is only a house). It is normally gentle but can become fierce if a pure person is threatened by a sinner, spouting flames from its mouth and exercising other fearsome powers that vary from story to story.

The Qilin is the lord of all beasts or hairy creatures (mammals)
, while the Phoenix represents the feathered, Man the naked, the Dragon the scaly and the Turtle the armored.

Variations

There are variations in the appearance of the qilin, even as seen in a single country such as China, owing to cultural differences between dynasties and regions.

In Japanese, the qilin is called kirin. Japanese art tends to depict the qilin as more deer-like than in Chinese art.

It's depicted as a dragon shaped like a European-style unicorn, only with a horse's tail instead of a lion's.

Interestingly, in the Chinese hierarchy of mythological animals, the qilin is ranked as the second most powerful creature (after the dragon), but in Japan, the kirin occupies the top spot.

In the Twelve Kingdoms anime series, based on the fantasy novels by Fuyumi Ono, the monarch of each kingdom is chosen by a kirin, who then becomes his (or her) principal counselor. The kirin's name is derived from the name of the kingdom plus either "ki" (male) or "rin" (female).

back up posts:

now working on... ARASHI sketch + pending VILLAIN sketches + BATTLE SYSTEMS STATS.

Please help me with the battle systems? Info so far is on thread in guild. Still workign on figuring out what damages and spells... need spells unique to your characters, by the way.. D:

also need species-common spells. and help with TURN BASED BATTLE SYSTEM.
ALSO. this is important. HOW MANY POINTS SHOULD A HEALING SPELL HAVE?

or a destructive spell? how much damage?

D: AND. How shall we get people to level up? There should be like.. levels 1- 100, right? X.x
X.x people start up with like... 100 health, right?

the boss battle's HP is 1000. so. how many exp is necessary to move on to level 2? how much hp/lp should someone gain when they move to a new level? D:

..and I need an avid rpgamer or dungeons and dragons/ forgotten realms player to help me with the fighting system. D: WE NEED A DUNGEON MASTER.

3. Have maybe bars, where they earn a level and bar if they win, and just a bar if they lose, so it's easier to keep track ^^ Like 5-10 bars or something O:

EDIT: If a boss battle, maybe they gain something like 250 exp. if you're doing something like ??/???

Doku-san
Okay. In my book, I'd say the people's characters should level up from 10 exp to 30 exp every villain they defeat. And for every "boss" then the exp goes up 50 to 100 exp.

FallenRockGirl07
Hmm from levels 1-10 it should be 500 exp. Then everything after that 1000 exp. Do it Final Fantasy 8 style. XD

Princess Senes
Lol I totaly forget what the levels are up in FF7. *Doesn't pay attention much all she does is fight and kill.* .__.

*Looks at her buddylist to see if anyone she knows who plays D&D is on.*

...one problem. x.x I CANNOT CODE BARS FOR LIFE POINTS.

I will have to read your fights and give out exp when the fight is over, based on your skill in rping fight scenes.

...I like final fantasy. biggrin
but giving out like... 1000 exp is a bit much. D:

we'll have to make bosses the ones that give out like.. 1000's of exp and stick to um...

1) low level (cute?) monsters/ tameables = 10 exp.
2) higher level goblin-type/gremlin type= 30 exp.
3)quadropedal mean looking dinosaur type/ feral type= 100 exp.
4)bipedal feral/reptile type = 150exp.
5) undead horde (zombie, low level minion) = 50 exp.
6) higher ranking undead knight-type thing/assassins etc= 100 exp.
7) demon-type= 150 exp.
8 ) higher stat'd demon, tanarrhi/baatezu (like Errtu)= 200 exp.
9) BOSS BATTLE- MUST be either killed or converted (with much EMO!)- 1000 exp points.

is this reasonable?

Djibrilshadow
level 1 - exp necessary to evolve to level 2= 100 exp.
level 2- exp necessary to move to level 3= 200 exp.
level 3, exp necessary to move to level 4= 300 exp

so on and so forth? what do you think? reasonable?

Dark-Jagan
Me too xDD;;

Final Fantasty can be confusing to me at times, though I played many of the games X____X;;; But I think the monster thing would be really nice idea! ^^

I would be willing to help draw some monsters, but I have no art skillz compared to others whatsoever xDD

Doku-san
Hey Dji... Again I have not scanned my monsters... But one is called Lightningrod and it's a level 1 monster (cute). My other is a Vanguard and its level is 2.

I played Dungeons and Dragons. The way things work in DnD is this:
Each weapon has a certain sided dice. 8 sided dice, 4 sided dice, and so on and so forth. (Example: Rapier Sword is a 4 sided dice roll, Mace is an 8 sided dice roll, etc.)
Spells in DnD also have 4 sided dice or 5 sided dice and how many of those dice rolled added together for magical damage.

You can use that system as well to help determine exactly how much damage is dealt, especially with the Roll Dice action on Gaia now.
