basing it on the doll type is yucky. it should be on the prettiness of the doll and of the photo. It should be a combination of things.

I don't think it's really fair to base it on the "prettiness" of the doll, as that's in the eye of the beholder. I think I'd rather base it on photo quality, creativity and style.

Yeah, my doll is a little boyish at times. ^^ Even though she's a character doll. Of course I have another of the same doll that's very feminine - when I actually take her out of the box. It doesn't feel right to customize a doll that I don't have a double of.... o.o;
At any rate, count me in. If we decide that each participant must somehow contribute to the prize, I will do my best! ^_^

if people make things to contribute as items, then we would have to give out personal information to people we don't know or only know online. I don't have a problem with it, but someone else might.

Well there's always the thought of just making the prizes Gaia items. I mean I know it's a BJD guild but that's really the most practical thing right now. I know a lot of guilds set up a seperate account to donate to since that I know of guild owners can't get to the donations they recieve (which I think is BS but whatever).
I'd be willing to contribute to that.

Yes, gold and item prizes would be good, but if we do that we would need either an entry fee or a lot of donations to make it relevant. Or we could make a poll as to which kind of prizes would be most liked and such.

Other than online, I don't know anyone else that owns a BJD crying . I will get started on my prize donation in case we do that instead of Gaia items.
