Summary: A drought plagues Konoha, and the threat of war hangs over the country. Sakura is sent to Sunakagure on a peacekeeping mission.
Other couples: It seems to be implied that Ino married a Rock ninja.
Comments: I found this today and I went HOLY s**t at its length - apparently it seems to have been submitted all at once. I haven't finished reading it yet, but I know several things; its a bit tragic and the writing style is very different. The author makes it all seem like a journal entry, yet its all in present tense. Somehow she makes it really good either way. Genius really, and I expect no less than that for a dedicated GaaSakuer. xp
My only complaint is the villification of Kankuro.

Its PLATONIC gaanarusasu. As in, only friends. Its also pro-GaaSaku but you have to figure out why yourself. wink

Summary: GaaSaku She should never have extended her help to him. It was supposed to be a simple healing but it was anything but. Now he was chasing her around the countryside in his bestial form and she still had no idea what she had done to merit his attention.
Other couples: None that I remember.
Comments: I wouldn't call this fic excellent and there's a lot I can criticize; Gaara is way too... uh, bestial to put it one way sweatdrop - something I've often complained about,there's also the cliche arranged marriage kind of thing plus Sakura being a bit too submissive too fast. o_o
It has a lot of faults but overall its not badly written and its worth reading.

Comments: Yes, yes I know, feel free to burn me at the stake. Again, its a bit cliche (and you could say stupid since Suna will never wage war with Konoha with Gaara as Kazekage) but its not poorly written as far as I know so I suggest checking it out.
