Still working on frontier, and I'm almost done with the pokemon stats (yes, attack, defense, and sp atk etc are coming to the guild!)
Also, I changed the way that you figure out whether the pokemon is male or female. Roll 1 6-sided dice. If it's even, its female, if it's odd, it's male.
Simple, and it should only effect the mods really. All your pokemon will stay the genders that they are now. This only effects the new ones that you will catch in the future heart

1) We are looking for another mod, so if you're interested, be sure to check out the thread!
2) There is a poll up concering the battle system-everyone MUST vote in it!
and finally 3) I am making it so that you MUST have certain badges to control higher levelled pokemon. Don't worry about mods not being on, that is the reason that we're getting another one. Also, now that I'm only working on the Pokedexes, I can RP more often, which means more pokemon and battles for all! heart Hennajin hsurprisingly hasn't been on, and Nereh's occupied with another game, so I'm doing my best, please have patience with me ^_^

The badges are as follows:
You must have 2 consecutive (in a row) badges to control Lv 30 or lower
You must have 4 consecutive to control 50 or lower
You must have 6 consecutive to control 70 or lower
You must have 8 consecutive badges to control Lv 100 or lower
Other than you're starter, if you have apokemon higher than the required level you must roll a single 6 sided dice. If you roll a 1, 3 or 5, your attack goes through. If it's any other number, your pokemon disobeys you.

A new system is being added to the roleplay. Until I say so, DO NOT follow the instrucitons on the first post of every city. I am trying to set up a way for pokemon to appear even without mods online, so everyone will be happy.
I'm doing my best to get it running.
Also, the breeding center is now working. Enjoy!

The Game Corner in Celadon is now open for business! There are Pokemon, TMs, and even new, never before seen hold items that you can purchase with your winnings, so if you're interested, head there now!

The other Game Corners should be up within the next few days.

Important: Read the rules for the Game Corner carefully before posting! We will be enforcing the rules with a three strikes you're banned from the Game Corner policy, to make things fair for everyone.

NOTE TO MEMBERS:

You only recieve ONE Eevee via posting. After your 1000th post, you get 1 Eevee. It is not every 1000 posts you get one. Sorry if anyone mistook that.

BIG Update! Shinou, now has trains. There is no poofing to and from Shinou. If you are caught doing this, then you will be warned and have all your posts deleted. You may get a warning again. Probably not. Then mystik will be notified and maybe banment will follow. The train has been edited in Veilstone, so you do need Cut to get there.

Please follow the rules.

A note on health and leveling up:

When you level up a Pokemon once, its health goes up 10HP, then the next level it DOES NOT go up. After the third level-up, it goes up another 10. Then the next time it levels up, nothing. But on the fifth level up it gains 20 hp. Then again, nothing. Then 10. Everyone see a pattern? Therefore, you DO NOT gain health every level that you grow.
In order to keep an eye on everyone, starting NOW every Pokemon you catch, when you register it into your Pokedex (which you've been keeping track of, right?) be sure to put the level that you caught it at, and what it's health was originally.
Failure to keep track of your Pokemon will result in possible banment, or forced restart of your Pokemon.

Also, as of right now, keeping track of a Pokedex is REQUIRED.
And to save space, you can create a second post in your Pokedex to list your items and hyperlink them into your posts. Then we can have alot more posts on one page.
One more thing, please post all roleplay actions in the thir dperson point of view. It is easier to understand than first person, and easier to interact with and respond to.

People, this is important. You must read this before capturing any new poke'mon.

To catch a wild poke'mon, one must throw a poke'ball. Well, to make this guild more like the games, we have a Capture Ratio that goes like this:
All dice rolled are 10-sided

Poke'ball
Lv. 1-20
Full Hp-30%
1/2 Hp-60%
1/4 Hp-90%

Lv. 21+
Full Hp-20%
1/2 Hp-40%
1/4 Hp-60%

Greatball
Lv. 21-40
Full Hp-30%
1/2 Hp-60%
1/4 Hp-90%

Lv. 41+
Full Hp-20%
1/2 Hp-50%
1/4 Hp-70%

Ultra Ball
Lv. 41+
Full Hp-30%
1/2 Hp-60%
1/4 Hp-80%

0 Hp counts as 1/4 Hp.
Round up to the nearest statistic, Full, 1/2, 1/4.

To determine whether or not you have caught the poke'mon that you are trying for, when you roll, be it with any ball, the lowest numbers are used. So if the percent is 60, then the numbers 1-6 allow you to catch it; 7-10 do not.

Wow, it's been a while since we've had to update anything. Guess that's a good thing.

Well, this time we've updated the breeding center. We've got it worked now that you can breed your poke'mon and get eggs! To do that, you will roll a di on the second and third days of being in the center. Absolutely NO EXCEPTIONS! You miss your opportunity, you'll have to try again. Also, your poke'mon will gain levels for the first FOUR days that its in there. Because the centers are divided by region and are only accessible from certain towns, one may leave the poke'mon in the center for as many days as you'd like. However, your poke'mon gain levels only for the first four days. Also, the same applies for eggs. You must roll for the egg on the second and third days of placing the poke'mon in the center. Otherwise, you miss your chances.

Now when you do get an egg, no matter how many tries it takes, your poke'mon must hatch. To do this the egg must be in your party, and you will have to post in either the Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, or Shinou forums ROLEPLAYING to get the number required. The link to the number of posts is located here: http://www.gaiaonline.com/guilds/viewtopic.php?t=9472281

Also, read the rules. The way to get an egg is in the updated rules.

Good Luck and happy breeding.

BETA TESTING!

We're releasing the dice roll system in Hoenn only to see how people deal with it.

There's a few rules:

1) You must post the number of times it says in the first post before you make a poke'mon appear. Even if you've just entered the thread.
2) Every time you change threads, the counter that you must keep, resets.
3) Please use http://www.serebii.net/pokedex-dp for your poke'mon attack moves.

As of this moment, all poke'mon will follow this set hp:

Lv. 5-40
Lv. 7-50
Lv. 9-70
and so forth. Calculate the hp accordingly. Any poke'mon that is under level five starts with Hp-30.

EXP:

LV. 2-5 give 3
Lv. 6-9 give 5
Lv. 10-13 give 6
Lv. 14-18 give 8
Lv. 20-25 give 9
Lv. 26-31 give 11
Lv. 32-36 give 13
Lv. 37-43 give 15
Lv. 44-50 give 16
Lv. 50+ give 20

I hope this helps.

Here are the steps that you must do to make a poke'mon appear before you.

Here's what you need to do everytime you make a poke'mon appear.

1) You don't have to have the sprite. The name'll suffice.
2) Gender you can do during battle. Just be sure to wait and choose the gender based attacks after it is decided.
3) Then calculate hp from the level. Remember that pm I sent you, use that.
4) After that you can go to http://serebii.net/pokedex-dp to get it's attacks.
5) Finally, go to this thread to get the damage done by the attacks: http://www.gaiaonline.com/guilds/viewtopic.php?t=5749523
6) Personality is optional.

In order to prevent Pokemon with huge HP's, I have decided to cap off the HP at 800.
So once your Pokemon hits that HP maker, no matter what level it is, it will not gain any more! Also I'm trying to come up with a way to make level differences affect the damage you do on your opponent. It's not fair that Astrals Charizard is level 82 and does the same damage to a Gym leaders Pokemon as a level 36 Charizard. So look forward to that happening, it'll benefit everyone. As well, the event will go as planned, and soon! There is also another thing that will be opening soon, and that will be my little secret! heart But I know you all are going to love it!
Till next time!

Well, resistance will now come into play, and it does take into account the .25 and 0 damage scales. So, a poke'mon that has the types: Water/Grass has an resistance of .25 to Water, but a 1x weakness to Fire. Ask any questions and we'll be sure to help.

If you've got any questions, go here, use Ctrl+F and type in the poke'mon in question. It'll tell you. Ignore the 4x weakness for now.
