"Right here..." Roger answered, mistakenly believing that the woman was speaking to him, and more than a little afraid to anger her by not answering, though he was quite confused by her mutterings...

He followed after her, frowning just a little, as he realized that she was looking, for something. There couldn't be much of value here though. Well, maybe a few animals, maybe a rare plant. But he didn't see what the woman could have possibly wanted...

His head was pounding, and he squinted, keeping after the woman, his eyes locked on her, while he tried to clear his mind.

He was a strange man, seeming preoccupied by something that plagued him while on another hand he seemed to focus on her form as much as possible - she could feel his eyes upon her to that extent and as she pushed the branches of the overgrown trees away from her she approached what appeared to be a small cliff. Her lips pursed at this and for a few moments she stared at the edge before finally beginning to move towards it.

Step by step, foot by foot, inch by inch and then she saw it. Beneath her mask, the woman's jaw opened and in disbelief she removed her beloved Venecian object from her face - she was absolutely astonished by what she could see and the purity of the energies that now appeared to call for her; completely unhindered by the trees around her.

For a while, she stood motionless; admiring the structure that lay before before a smile crept onto her lips, "Found you." She murmured at last.

Roger followed after her, stopping at the edge of the cliff, his eyes finally tearing from the woman, and looking down into the valley below, his eyes trailing along, and stopping, his jaw dropping, "No way..." he murmured, it had been years that he had been in this place, and never had he even dreamed something like that existed here...

"How... when... who..." he muttered, trying to grasp a hold of what he should ask this strange woman first, who seemed to know more about what was in 'his' forest, than he had...

"Do you always stutter?" The woman replied with a hint of irrtation within her voice; now with her mask removed her delicate features could not remain hidden and her expression could not remain unreadable - true, had she been given notice she would have hidden her expression beneath one of stoism however now was not the time nor the place.

After a few moments of recovery, she turned her gaze in the direction of the peculiar construction once more and then gave a nod, slipping her mask back onto her face as she glanced down at the cliff face below - it wasn't an extreme drop and she would recover quite quickly from the fall provided that she rolled as soon as she impacted as opposed to landing directly on her toes.

Such thoughts continued to flow through her mind and then with a small sigh she placed her heels to the edge of the cliff and turned her gaze downwards...

"Whoa, whatcha thinkin' about doing?" Roger cried out, seeing the woman standing on the very edge, and looking down. He seemed to forget that she was barging in on 'his' sacred place, or that she seemed ready to kill him earlier, or at the very least like a very, very mean person.

His hand reached out, towards whatever available hold he could get on the woman, tryin to pull her away from the cilff, before she fell...

Much to the woman's annoyance he managed to grasp her cloak and as she finally dropped down over the cliff face it tore from around her neck, the platinum clip tumbling to the cliff face edge where it made suspended in a small jut of rock. She herself disappeared into the trees below with a cry of fury in response to his obstruction and if one listened closely the muffled thump could be heard below.

No other sounds came for a long while until at last a flicker of a human being could be seen in the caps between the tree tops as she waded her way through the undergrowth towards the construction before her. Needless to say, she looked rather peculiar without her cloak - her plumed hat seemed terribly out of place and in appropriate at this moment in time!

"Ma'am! You forgot your cape, rag, thingy!" Roger cried out after her, and looked back down at the cliff. He wasn't stupid, like her... not sir... He curled up the cape into a ball, and started walking over to his right, where the cliff seemed to be lower, and perhaps, he could find a path down without falling and hurting himself...

From then on in the woman made fast progress - ducking and diving beneath the trees and undergrowth as she approached the large building before her. She was unaware of exactly what it was nor what lay within it but she did know that whatever was inside called, coaxed and beckoned to her in such a manner that she simply couldn't ignore it.

Had anyone happened to be observing her at that moment in time, they would have noticed a lust flash within the depths of her emerald eyes and as she outstretched her hands to force further bushes aside she knew all too well that she would be approaching some method of entry into the building (provided it wasn't locked or blocked).

"Soon..." She murmured to herself, yes; soon she would know what it was that called her here!

Meanwhile, Roger had found a spot, where the cliff wasn't too steep, and was climbing down it carefully. Not that it was that far of a fall, but there were a few pointy rocks, which would probably break his bones like a twig, at least that's what he thought, as he climbed down...

The woman's probably already there, he thought, sighing as he neared the bottom. She seemed so... bad. Like the scum he was used to working for. And whatever that beautiful place was, a person like that would probably bode evil for the building, and the forest...

Ah the assumptions of those around her - how little they knew! With a smile beneath her mask, the woman burst forth from the undergrowth and came to a halt just a slight distance away from the bridge that led towards the large doorways. She stood in absolute awe of the massive construction and revelled in the beauty provided by such a wonderous creation - in fact she was curious as to who would have created such a building as this.

Shaking the thoughts from her head, she eventually snapped back to reality and took more time to carefully consider the situation before her - inside she could sense the coaxing hand and yet she was never one to walk into unknown and dangerous places without a great deal of warning...she would have to proceed carefully.

Roger could feel his heart pounding, his breath coming out in heavy gasps, as he tried to make up time, going as fast though the forest as he could, without tearing it up too much. He kept his head down, and his hands bundling the cape of the woman, up against his chest.

As he ran towards where she saw her going, he could feel something in the air, something growing stronger, something quite scary to him... However, he shouted out "Old lady! I got your cape for ya!"

"Old?!" The woman fought hard not to shriek as she swung round, the venecian mask looking ever more forboding than before - she was only of twenty one years in age and he had the nerve to call her 'old', how dare he! Despite herself, she found that she ignored the peculiar coaxing of the temple and beneath her mask her emerald eyes did narrow rather dangerously - she took the insult quite seriously.

"You have the worst judgement in the history of the planet!" She continued, removing her mask as if to prove that she was as young as she made herself out to be - even her delicate features were not creased into another frown of distaste; first he followed her and now he insulted her - what right did he have and who did he think he was?!

The man visably flinched, but held the woman's cape out towards her, looking down at the ground, rather than facing that cold, terrible face, with it's inhuman lack of wrinkles and such...

"I've seen wizard types say they were in the hundreds, and only appear no more than 25... and ya know, with that creepy no wrinkle inhuman face of yours, um... it really makes it hard to tell which is true..."

"I just take care of my appearance," The woman retaliated in a disgruntled fashion as she snatched the cloak from his hand and proceeded to wrap it around her lithe figure once more, she was by no means magically inclined to the extent that he said however when she needed to she was able to decipher magical scrolls and use them at whim - she sincerely doubted she would ever need it for her appearance though.

"Most women who are in my line of work take exceptional care of themselves so that they might use their assets to their own benefit." She pointed out once more and gave a slight and yet cool smile as though she were pointing out that he was being a tad silly in his accusations that she was old, "I assure you, I am a young woman but I am not sure about yourself - you act as though you are an old hermit -" She pursed her lips and then mimicked someone from her own memories.

"Get out of my corn fields!" She shrieked in a high pitched and 'crackly' tone.

Roger looked up, a little confused by her speach, and her murmurings of 'assets', though he frowned darkly when the old hermit line was mentioned. He wasn't anywhere near as dark or dangerous looking as the woman had been, but clearly, that line had upset him, for some reason.

"Please... um... don't mention that again..." he asked meekly, muttering, and his gaze dropping from her face, to a point on the ground between her feet.
