If the CK and sniper are already working together then they have to be in the same circle of friends who talk together/always form alliances together.
Now if they are not working together then the CK could be either someone who has a grudge against Ego or randomly picked her to frame so we'd send her to jail...or Ego is the CK and is framing herself to make us not vote for her since she's "innocent and is being framed" but is planning on killing us all.

In Death Note, unless you want the person to die of a heart attack, after writing their name into the notebook, you have to write the cause of death within 6 Minutes 40 Secconds. Otherwise, the person will die in 40 Secconds. n_n Nothing to do with time till 9.
