Sibalto slowed as he noted she was moving with him, and glanced at her. She was a lovely mare, and marked unlike anything he had ever seen back home. "My Lady?" He inquired, halting and facing her. He wondered why she was following him back toward the river, and then wondered if Tashika would be expecting him back. "I do not wish to keep you from finding the company you seek."

Firefly turned her head slightly as he stopped, turning her body half way so that she was faceing him. Her eyes lidded slightly as a small smirk curled the corners of her dark lips. She flicked her tail a few times slowly and laughed deeply under her breath. "Don't worry. I think I've already found that company...."

Sibalto grinned and bowed his head. "Then I am deeply honored.." He chucjled softly and turned back to his course, picking up his gentle walk once more. "And, if I may ask, you will not be missed if you acompany me back towards my own grove?" He flicked his tail. "I would not want you in trouble on my account, you see."

He should be, anyways. Firefly laughed again and shook her head lightly as she started walking with him again. "I'm sure my two legger won't worry. I'm known for going out and staying away for several days on end."
She laughed again as he mentioned her getting into trouble. "I get into trouble all the time by myself so I doubt you comeing into the equation won't do anything. But don't worry about it."

Sibalto eyed her and then nodded in satisfaction, picking up to a Spanish trot, forelegs reaching out in full strides that were a pleasure to watch. He had no real mind for her two legger if what she said was true or not, for in truth, he couldn't truly stop her from following him even if he wanted to.
"As you wish." He said simply, remaining silent for a few moments.
"So you say then.. May I ask your name My Lady? Or at least, what you would have me call you?" He glanced at her as he asked the question, and then turned back, making his way to a more well-known trail rather than leading her down his own private route. It would put them along the river rather than in the heart of his glade, which he much preferred to leading a stranger directly to his home.

Firefly watched him for a moment, keeping up easily as he changed the way he walked. Batting her eyelashes a moment when she turned her head to look at him, she persed her lips lightly. "Firefly...is what you may call me. And what is your name handsome?"
Her eyelashes batted again before she turned her head forward watching the trail infront of them. Seemed he was leading them towards some water as she could hear the sound of it as it cut it's way through the earth.

He chuckled as she called him handsome. "Well met Firefly.. And Sibalto is fine.. Some just call me Sib, but I suppose that is up to your discretion.. I've no mind to it either way.." He sped up, rounding the last few turns to the river. The crystal water laughed and rushed past him, making him smile. Upstream a good gallop, and then across the river to a slight jut of land into the wide stream, lay the teepee of his caretaker. Altthough it was out of sight, he felt a flood of relaxation, knowing he was near should she call for him.

Firefly raised an eyebrow slightly. "Sib it is then..." Her tail flicked slightly as he sped up, though she kept to her own pace. No need to get anywhere in a hurry if there was no need. But she kept him in close sights non the less.
As they arrived to wherever it was that he was leading her, she slowed her pace a bit, walking along the edge of the water. The light that shone down into the area illuminated her dark coat as she moved through it. Takeing her time as she followed.

With her in tow, the river was his only real goal, and watching her walk along the bank, he went ahead and plowed into the crystal flow. The cool water soaked his legs to a darker shade, and weighted his tail into the current. Silver, snow and charcoal strands drifted in the play of the water, and he pawed at the water in play. "Very well." He murmured in response to her choice of names. He moved farther downstream, away from his home, again reluctant to lead anyone there. He knew when Tashika had need of him, she would whistle, and until then, he was free to do as he pleased.

Preferring to stay out of the water for the moment, she continued to follow him along the river bank. He really wasn't that much of a talkative stallion, she thought. But oh well. It was better than nothing at all at the moment at least.
She tossed her head slightly, flipping her mane from one side of her neck to the other. Trying to grasp for something to talk about as they made the journey to wherever it was they were going. She wasn't too sure about that in the least, she'd never really been in this area, atleast not for a long period of time.

Sibalto splashed in the water happily for a few moments, stopping when the stream darkened his silver shoulders. With a shrug, he continued moving through the river, glaincing at her from time to time. "So Lady Firefly.." He began. "Why does a lady such as yourself dissappear from her home days at a time in search of company? What does your mate think of this? Wouldn't he want you to be with him?" He didn't really know what to talk about, but the idea puzzled him, so he had caved and asked. He noted they were heading toward a lake he often liked to visit, and continued toward it, thinking Firefly would like the clear water and brightly colored fish. The stones along the bottom ranged from grey to nearly black, offsetting the redfish that darted through the water.

She smirked lightly and looked down at bit as he asked is questions. Her tail lashing back and forth as she moved slowly along the river bank. Dark red eyes looked up at him a moment before she spoke. "Because haveing a certain kind of company is something I enjoy..."
Firefly shook her head and laughed lightly as his last two questions. "I'm afraid I don't have a mate. Seems no stallion will have me unfortunatly..." She exaggerated a small sigh, seeing what his reaction to her reply would be.

"What kind of company would that be?" He asked, glancing at her curiously. Turning his eyes back to the line of the river, he stumbled at her words. She had no mate? He tried to keep the look of surprise off his face as he glanced at her, and looked away quickly. None would have her? Impossible.. He knew back home, almost any stallion would be eager to have a mare with such a strong personality, her lovely appearance none withstanding. And with such an elegant form such as she had.. He shook his head again. There would be no way for such a beautiful mare to be unmated, or unwanted. "I find it hard to believe such a thing..."

Firefly smirked and looked off to the side for a moment, her steps quickening slightly. "What kind of company would you think an unmated mare would look for?" Her smirk grew a bit, but she kept the majority of it inside.
She sighed again, lightly this time. "It's true. I don't know what the reason for it is though. I guess I just keep running into the wrong stallions or ones that are already mated or something to that extent....it feels though sometimes like I will never find that special person."

"An unmated stallion?" He offered. "But how do you know I don't have a mate? Perhaps she and my foals are waiting for me." He grinned and flicked his tail, sending a spray of water to the river bank. He shook his head and moved toward the edge of the rushing river, staying in the chest-deep water. "The wrong stallions?" He echoed. "Ah yes.. I'm sure that can happen quite a bit." In the short time he had been here, he had run into some interesting characters, that was for sure. The thought of his friends made him smile, though he bowed his head to hide it.
