Mani chuckled as he saw the red cub get so excited. She was so funny, which made her nice to be around. She never had a negative attitude and always brought good vibes. I guess thats what cubs are there for. He padded up to the water whole, Ver was already there of course. Water drippping from her paws.
He walked over next to her and toock long drinks of water, it felt so refreshing. Every gulp he took, the water made it down his throat with a cool rush and splashed ito his tummy. He looked up to make sure ver was still near, he chin fur spiked up from the water.

Verdad took a good, long drink from the waterhole. She'd probably would have run herself to death had they not found it. THe shimmering water beneath her was cool and refreashing in the heat of the savannah. She hummed as she drank, paws moving in the mud under her pads.
When she finally lifted her head, there was a massive grin. Water dripped down her chin causing blood red lines down her burgandy chin.
This was nice. Being with Mani was much more fun than talking to her brother all the time. he had a certain air about him that was regal...or so she thought. The young cub didn't understand the idea of cocky yet so she just saw it as proud. Her tail swung behind her happily and the tuft swirled around, lightly brushing her ankles.
"This is fun. I haven't been here before." She looked about herself at all the foliage. "It's so pretty..."

" It's quite something. " he said in between drinks.
Once he had gotten proper hydration the golden lion sprung back up wondering which direction they shall traval next. He thought about what would be most suitable for Ver when he made his decision and decided to follow up north.
There were spectacular views from up there, big sun rocks they could warm there furs in. He almost started purring thinking about it. A smile spread across his maw and he shook out his mane before they journied beyond.
He confirmed with Ver as to where they would be heading, of course she would have no problem with it. [/color

Verdad nodded and continued drinking. She hadn't realized how thirsty she really was until she was ankle deep in the cool water, taking in mouthfulls at a time. Her tail dragged along the surface as she quinched her thrst for the last time. She licked her maw and bounded after him.
"This place is a nice place?" She figured it would be. The small cub didn't know if their was actually a 'bad' place in the pridelands. Her giggle returned as she trotted beside her.
"You're so nice Mani."
