If Einji was surprised by the child's appitite, he didnt show it. Shaking his head as the boy walked back over, He grinned slightly as he spoke. "...You weren't hungry were you?" He raised an eyebrow slightly as he noticed the collar, the medalion glinting slightly in the sun light. "...Relban? Is that your name, kid?"

When Einji said 'Relban', the little demon quickly stopped playing with his ball, and looked around, his eyes finally locking onto Einji. Einji would likely guess that by his reaction, that he was Relban, although the little demon didn't seem to understand any other parts of the human language.
Looking up at Einji still, the toddler let go of his ball, the mass of flames floating into the air, orbiting Relban like the sun.

Einji noticed the reaction of the boy, nodding slightly as he watched the ball of flame start to orbit the child. "...Well kid...Id offer you something to eat if I had anything and you hadnt just eaten an entire motorcycle..." The mercenary shrugged. "...And Id invite you in...but I dont need you eating my motorcycle...." He smirked slightly, shaking his head as he spoke. "...You from around here, Reblan?" He had a feeling the child couldnt understand him, but spoke to him once again just to be sure.

Relban just tilted his head, his gaze having not left Einji. Hearing his name again made him know that he was been spoken to, but he still had no clue what Einji was talking about. The little demon child shrugged his shoulders at his new seemingly human friend, in hopes Einji would understand.
One thing Einji would have also noticed by now, was that the child never blinked, ever. It appeared as though he was staring, although that wasn't the case.
Relban's ball floated out over the desert, starting to gather up pieces from the other remaining bikes, both big and small. Most were just engulfed, vanishing moments later, as if being transported elsewhere. Einji's bike was left alone, like the sphere knew not to distrub it.

The mercenary nodded slightly, confiming his suspiscions. At about that time the first farmer that Einji had originally spoken with, plus a few others, Came up to the farm house, the leader of their little group surveying the recent battle field. He turned to face the mercenary, a look of slight confusion on his face. "What happened?" Einji shrugged slightly, "...Couple of goons on hover bikes came riding by....I killed them...The kid there..." He pointed over at Reblan, "Cleaned up the bike parts...I got some information out of one of them though..They were hired by someone who was hired by someone to destroy your farms..."
The first farmer's eyes had narrowed when Einji had said hover bikes. "How dare the Hoshites attack our farms! We have nothing to do with their damned war...." Einji raised an eyebrow as he interupted. "War?" The farmer, shaking his head to cool his temper, turned his gaze back to the mercenary. "The King of our land has called out for war against the Hoshites of the floating city, saying that their machinery is the cause of the red fever that is tearing across the land. But we, being so far out, have left the fighting to them. We just want to do what we do and be damned with wars and killing..but it seems we'll be cought up in this anyway..."
Einji shook his head. "...I dont think so...If that were the case, I think the man I interrogated would have known a little more than he did....I think this is someone who is taking advantage of the war to do a little bit of looting..." Sighing, the farmer nodded. You could be right...Would you like us to get rid of the bodies?" Einji shook his head, "...I'll take care of it.." The farmer nodded once more. "Alright then, Einji, we'll leave it to you...have a good evening..." The procession turned and walked away, each man in turn, returning to their homes.

Einji made quick work of the bodies, blowing each one into dust with a well placed energy blast. He looked out over the horizon, towards the direction of the mansion, every fiber of his being calling him to it. He sighed, what little resolve he had to resist the urges crumbling away. He looked over to where the little Reblan sat, knowing it did him no good to communicate with the child, also knowing that the child had made it here across the desert, he knew the boy would be able to take care of himself.
Even still, he didnt bother to close up or lock the house, leaving it there for the boy should he need it. He closed his eyes as a black void surrounded him, a large black, feathery wing protruding from each side of his back. The energy died down as the wings flapped once, propelling him into the air. He crossed his arms and closed his eyes, allowing his instincts to guide him back to the place he once called home....
