He watched his son as he decided on a name and glanced down at his only daughter with affection clearly imprinted in his hazel eyes. "Kiasi'nyota." He purred quietly to himself. "That's a perfect name Mbari and quite suitable considering the Pride she was born into." He shifted then, resettling his great body so that he could lie stretched out alongside his mate, protecting her back from any cool breeze that might attempt to chill her.
Though with the rising of the sun came the temperature and it would only be a couple more hours before the heat began it's steady rise.
"Inari is cute! Sounds like mey name!" The great lion smiled softly as his eyes scanned one last time over the five feeding cubs. They were all healthy, all beautiful and all perfect.
With a great yawn the lion let his eyes fall closed and moved to lay his head cradled in his forepaws, letting the squeaks of his newborn children lull him into sleep.

The little light colored cub was unaware of his surroundings, but he was able to feel soemthing hand changed. He was in a warm comfortable place, and now everything smelled and felt different... it was cold, so cold.. The little honey colored cub wriggled near his mother; the only thing he knew was that this warm creature was his safe haven. He could feel it, he could sense it. He knew it. He did not his unopened eyes to see his mother. Her vision was clear in his mind.
The cub tiredly curled next to this warm creature and made a soft yelping sound as if to get some attention and then slowly fell asleep, feeling safe and content now.
