After approximately one hour, Kade feel into a deep sleep.
Sunlight managed to squeeze between the thousands of leaves above. With his eyes closed tightly, Kade dozed silently underneath the large canopy. His body was almost completely rested. The day of traveling had left him not only tired physically, but mentally too. As he lay motionless on the cold stone, a small gust of wind blew a single leaf from the oak above him. Somehow, this peculiar leaf managed to float and position itself where it landed right on Kade’s forehead. His body jolted furiously as he swiped at his forehead, knocking the leaf off and poking himself in the eye. A sensation of irritation took over his body as he pulled himself to his feet, staring blankly at the single leaf that now lay motionlessly on the ground.
His eye began to water as he hopped down off the large rock. Though his body felt better than usual, he felt slightly agitated after being woke up. Kade pick up his pack, and as he did he noticed that it was quite light, considering he had left Shizu’ carry about 30 pounds of supplies in it. I need some supplies, he thought as he swung the pack around onto his back. When he entered the forest earlier, he noticed a sign that pointed in the direction of the nearest settlement, Omashu, which sounded like a good place to re-supply and continue his journey. As he trudged towards his next destination, he noticed that the sky had begun to darken and numerous black clouds began to form over-head. There was no doubt in his mind that he was about to get wet.

"WAAAA!!!!!!" Tsuzuki cried miserably throughout the still air of the forests.
She had been dropped off in a small, unknown port two days ago and had been hoplessly wondering the forests since. She didn't have any supplies, food, or water and was feeling rather lost. Tsuzuki looked helplessly to the left and to the right. Then, she looked up the path and down the path. No one seemed to be around.
Suddenly, she grew silent. Was that-? "Water!" Tsuzuki yelled happily.
She ran towards the sound and found a river where she drank from, disreguarding any sort of sickness that might derive from it. As she sat up, her thirst finally quenched, she looked around and sighed, "I hope someone comes around soon. This traveling to Ba Sing Se alone doesn't seem as if it's going to work."

An hour later, Tsuzuki was once again trudging along grudgingly through the leaves. It was nice and quiet here and she thought that it was a beautiful place to be but she couldn't help saying out loud, "Pssh. Yeah. A beautiful place to die of starvation."
She looked to her left where the river was flowing to where she had already been and didn't want to go again. There weren't any animals around that she could see or hear which meant that she would be having nuts and berries for dinner.
A few minutes later, she found that the trees were thinning and a great, white wall replaced the leaves. After a brief celebration, she realized that she had to find the entrance. "Somewhere. . ." Tsuzuki said, losing hope.

Miro smiled, gazing up at the mottled greens of the canopy above her as sunlight poured through. A comfortable breeze passed through the wood, rustling the long tendrils of ferns and other plants, causing the occasional deer rabbit or squirrel to scamper away in fear. It was a nice day. Nice to take a walk, to meditate, to...
Her stomach growled in sudden, loud protest. She grimaced, rubbing her sore abdomen. Nice day to starve.
"I ran away to get away from all that rabbit food my parents were shoving at me," she sighed. "And look what I get in return? More rabbit food."
Such was the life of a wanderer. She didn't know quite which way she was going, for few sixteen-year-old girls knew the path to Omashu from the one to Ba Sing Se.
Sighing, she tossed back her short, brown hair for no purpose other than to take out some of her frustration on something, and sat down, humming a lullaby to herself.
What she wouldn't give for an audience right now. Or a companion. Or some sign of sentient life in these woods.

After Lee had awaken from his training in the desert he wandered into a forest. He knew it was a forest because he could feel shade and all the vegetation around him. Other than that the soil was softer than desert soil. Lee jogged around the forest for a while still wearing his stone vest. And after a while he stopped for a quick breath before he started again.

Lee left the forest and headed to a harbor. He was feeling adventurous and maybe if he a new horizon could help him gain more skill as a bender.

The sun broke out over the horizon of the great forest. As the denizen's of the wood awoke from their slumber, Two young men could be seen in a small grove of trees by the clearing. One of them was dressed in the traditional garb of the Earth Nation's Earthbenders, with the widebrimmed hat and long robes. The other one wore similar robes and had long brown hair tied back in an elegant Braid.
"Are you sure you're ready Dav?" The one in the hat asked.
"Hit me with it Commander Xua!" The younger one, Dav answered.
The commander made a few harsh gestures and 3 spikes of earth lifted themselves out of the ground and flew toward the younger man.
Without missing a beat, Dav made a few gestures and water floated out of his satchel and pooled around his hands.
With quick, spinning motions, Dav redirected the projectiles using the water in his hands as a sort of glove. After the three spikes were dealt with, Dav aimed his hands at his commander and sprayed him with the water. whee
The commander looked at Dav Cole sternly and then broke out laughing.
"Not bad little man." The older commander said, "Once you learn to freeze water you might actually be useful to us!"
"And you might be an effective Earthbender once you figure out how to beat a 16 year old kid!" Dav shot right back at him.
"Hey you two!" A gruff voice called from a clearing in the tree line. "Come on, we're moving out!" Their commanding officer said.
"Duty calls" Commander Xua said walking back to the camp with Dav.

"Ughh" said Enoki waking up. He walked into his living room, and picked up a bow and arrow. He decided he would go hunting for a meal this morning. he glanced sideways at his sleeping dog, Gonta, and grasped his quiver filled with arrows, and walked out side.

Enoki sat up in a tree, something he'd come accustomed to in his life in the forest. He saw a small pack of boars drinking from a watering hole. He decided he could kill the boars, fill a pouch or two with water, and find some berries on his way home. Simple day, simple kill, simple breakfast. An easy life.

He knocked an arrow. The boars did not sense his presence, which was a good thing. He fired an arrow, hitting a boar in the side of the head, though the arrow did not penetrate the boar's skull, and they scattered. He knocked another arrow, and fired another into the head of the boar. This one sent it down. He only had one boar, and it looked like a runt. He was a little displeased, but it would make a good meal, and the water from the spring looked clean. He slung the boar over his shoulder, and started to walk over towards the spring.

Enoki got back, with a few plants added to his reaping. He looked over at his still sleeping dog, and couldn't help but snicker. He'd never seen the dog get up before mid-day. He pulled out a knife and began 'cleaning' the boar. When he was done, he salted it, and wrapped it in the previously found vegetation. He'd need it for his trip to Omashu. He'd decided the previous night he'd leave for the city to try and find a teacher. He took a leg of boar he'd separated previously, and and lit a small fire in a makeshift fireplace. He put it on a spigot, letting it roast, sitting down by the fire, letting himself get lost in his thoughts.

He finished his boar leg, and woke his dog. " I'll be gone for a few weeks time, maybe longer. I've left the dog door open, and I trust you'll take care of yourself in the time I'm gone." He said, patting the dog on the head. He took his rations, his bow and arrow, and a knife, and headed towards Omashu.

Lokey was walking around in the forest and decided to work on his bending skills before he met up with anyone else on his ever apparent wanderings. He put his bags down on a tree stump near a cliff he had come across and began practicing his bending stances. starting fomr the first and ending with the last in a ever repeating process each time he finished he would begin again faster this time.

He finished practicing stance half an hour after he had started and began bending the earth in steady steps first creating jutting spears of earth all around him and then he used his bending to create spears of earth on the cliff face and sending rocks hurling up at them to shatter them all in gravely falling on the ground around him.
