The woman didn't utter anything, she looked to the people that had turned her way before looking away, her head low as if she was staring straight at the table. A hand rose up as if she was summoning something but she brought it back down with a quick snap that would have made the people around her jump.
A soft laugh escaped from her throat, a creepy noise as it didn't sound right, again it sounded as if something was stuck in her throat. A short cough followed before she muttered some words to a passing waitress hoping that they wouldn't stop to chat. She hadn't talked with any other being in quite a while, only her horse was her "Wording companion."
As the drink was placed on her table she drew it in with a quick flick of her hand where it settled in front of her, the hood hovering above it as if she was staring into the drink. She didn't know what she had asked for but it was something, she just hoped that she blended in with other travellers if she tried to drink something, just sitting around made her look a little edgy. Well who ever didn't feel edgy with the large dark figure look.
A hand brought the drink to her mouth but something blocked it and almost at once a small puddle of the liquid had fallen down her black attire, with a noise of dissatisfaction the glass was slammed back into the table. You could say she was finding something difficult. A spidery hand tapped at the table top as if she was in deep thought, before the hand moved back to her face, odd noises could be heard as she fiddled with something at her face and then what she placed on the table seemed to be a rather odd looking mask. A full face mask, plain and old looking, it looked as if it could do with being fixed. Cracks, small pieces missing and what looked like paint seemed to be chipping away.
The glass was again raised to her face beneath the hood and an odd sipping noise was heard as if she hadn't ever had something to drink, but before too long liquid was dropping again down her attire making the woman frustrated, with a small screech she threw the glass down on the table and tried saying something but still it was hard to hear what she said.
"Cursed, cursed." was what she seemed to moan before the spidery gloved hands held her head, still no hood moved, no eyes were seen, only the mask on the table was the only item removed.

The demon looked up at the woman who'd just spoken to him and raised one eyebrow curiously. He had no idea what the world she was talking about, although she seemed genuinely certain that he should. It was in her body language, in her very soul, and the demon was surprised by that more than anything else. He ran a hand through his purprle hair and closed his eyes for a moment, remembering or trying to, anyway. Nothing came offhand, but years made even memories blend together into one great hall. Red eyes turned to examine the woman once more.
"I feel like I owe it to you," he said after a moment, hardly noticing when the barmaid brought him his stew. "Hardly a good start, but tell me the whole story, and if there is anything I can assist in, then so be it."
Moving the food closer, he even went so far as to try some of the food, which was very well done. At least from the perspective of someone who hardly ever tried human food. Sitting close to the window, he held the sppon in one hand while staring out the window and waiting for the woman to explain what was going on. He hardly remembered what it was she came for, but it felt as if he needed to help her anyway. The voice was insistent about that, even if it knew nothing else. Damn living forever if this is what it came down to.

Her head turned down as she heared his answer. "no, nevermind, you're probably the wrong person.." inside she could cry, if she could.. why did he have to be killed? She looked out of the window and saw the grass, the trees that would let their leaves be carried by the wind, the sun, the clouds. Ow if only..
She shook her head and stood up. "I'm sorry to bother you, but now I must be going" Then she turned to the door and walked towards it. She could shoot herself now, it took her years to get her where she was now and now she was on a dead end. What a sad ending it would be.
The barmaid brought her food and looked in surprise as she didn't see Sienna. She looked round and then noticed Sienna at the door. NOt knowing what to do she placed Sienna's food to the man, Chrono instead.

Is she could smell she would have immediately asked what smelt so good, but because there didn't seem to be much of any action a single hand went to her face as she seemed to scratch something. As someone passed she grabbed there arm with a quick movement that was barely seen, it would have felt like a wasp sting. As her cold touch chilled the waitress she let go and tried to mutter something.
"What food?" she seemed to hiss, stares increased as the waitress tried to understand clearly what she was saying. The girl rolled her eyes and bit her lip before crossing her arms and looking around.
"Yes its food." she replied before storming back to her place among the crowds.
The woman didn't seem to move, the hooded cloak just sat there, her fingers rapping lightly on the wooden table. The drink she had tried was pointless it just spilled down her attire, someone might say that she couldn't drink properly making her speech hard to understand.
"Distant." she muttered before sinking in the wooden seat as she continued to look around the place. Nobody knew why she was there; she was just sitting and watching like a bird does to its prey.

Elefain slowly walked out of the woods towards the nearby inn. She contemplated on wether she should stay there or move on and make a camp elsewhere.
With her mind made up she headed for the inn. As she walked she tightened her cloak about her concealing the two scimitars strapped around her waist. Before opening the door, she pulled her hood up, covering her long golden hair but most importantly her pointed ears. Who knows how an elf might be considered around here?
Upon entering Elefain rightaway ran into a girl standing in the middle of the doorway. "Oh sorry. Excuse me." And with that Elefain stepped lightly to the side and went to the bar maiden, checking in a room for the night. Not too tired she went and took a seat in the back corner of the common room and ordered herself a drink and sat scanning the room with her icy blue eyes flecked with gold and violet.

Awakened by the screeching and smashing of a full mug of drink, Inari sat bolt up-right in her bed upstairs in the tavern. It took her a moment to realize where she was. Her muscles relaxed and she gave a stretch as she remembered having rented this room out two nights ago.
Now she found herself descending the stairs that led to the common room. She was dressed in her normal attire, a long-sleeved, scoop neck tabard that was a velvety moss green color covered her upper body, while a full white skirt rustled about from her hips down. She remained barefoot and walked silently over to the fire. She was an elf, there was no question to that, her long light brown hair was tucked behind each slender pointed ear, giving away her heritage. Calm green eyes scanned the room and she noticed a girl going out while another came in. And then she saw the table that was dripping wet, and the woman shrouded in black whom sat there. A ghost of a smile danced across her lips as Inari sat herself down in one of the overstuffed armchairs that was placed around the fireplace.
She thought of flagging over one of the barmaids, and ordering herself some spirits to begin her evening, but then thought against it. Wiping at her eye, Inari drove away the last bits of sleep that lingered there and she stifled a yawn. 'Yes,' she thought, 'I should wake more before I indulge myself.'
Another night in this tavern, another night that started like the last two. Waking suddenly, though the last two had been from a vivid nightmare... had she been dreaming tonight? Inari couldn't remember. She leaned her chin on her hand and stared blankly at the fire, wondering if something would happen tonight, something to break this terrible drudgery, or if she should move on -- perhaps this wasn't the right tavern to find her answers in after all.
