Ok. Our director looks like justin timberlake. We have sorta like... platformy things and flutes sit on bottom, then clarinets (ME) then sax and trumpets (we only have 2 saxes) then low brass which is 2 trombones and a baritone, then our lonley percussionist. ok well first off, the flutes are quiet exept my friend, anna. We have ashley, anna then Grishma. clarinets are weird and funny. We have claire, tabitha, mee and lillie. Trumpets are smart weird geeks. We have Cody, heart Micah heart , Hayden and Marcus. Then sax is Tanner and Lindsay. Low brass. baritone is Daniel and trombones are dylan and kaci. Percussion is peyton. ok well anyways... we used to have a clarinetty named ashley too but she quit but on her last day her stand fell off her platformy area and almost hit grishma it was really loud and everyone got quiet and then i went 'bum bum BUUUUM' and everyone laughed then went back to work. Our trumpets are sooooooooooo weird. Micah heart and Hayden always fool around with their trumpets and stuff. Today Hayden was pulling out valves and inspecting them and he pulled out one of his slides and accidentally flung it and it hooked onto my clarinet it was awsome. i was playing and i just look down and everyone stops playing and hayden was like...........oops....... and micah heart burst out laughing then everyone else did. we have a laughy bunch. lol. xp our band is like.... hilarious 1 hour a day 5 days a week! My first period Rocks!!!!! lol rofl anyway anyone want any really funny stories then pm me or something and ill tell ya some! our band is not perverted its just hilarious lolz. (in case you didnt notice, i like micah. redface )

Ha. I'm the ONLY trumpet player in our band....then again, there's only 6 people in the WHOLE class. Its pretty fun because me and my Alto-sax buddy sit side by side and irritate and distract each other during our solos. its great because the director is always too busy with the retarded flute player to pay attention to us ever. lol

Trumpets:
Billy sits next to his BFFL, Michael, and they were talking ALOT, then Mr.Hanna told them to switch seats with Jake...And Billy said "FINALLY!!! DO YOU REALIZE HOW HARD IT IS TO SIT NEXT TO MICHAEL?!"
Billy found this tube of Nutrogena, and read off the claims off to the whole class. Then Ryan told him to throow it on the floor, and he did. o_o
Saxs:
George and Marcus were fighting over who wanted to play Bari. Sax. O_O
George,Griffen,Kyle and Marcus dance in their seats during Caribbean Christmas, and when the rest is over, they half-way dance, stop and play their saxs. It's funny to watch! =3
Trombones:
That's my section! xD
We have to do this hissing thing....And it was just me and Ryan one day, and I sat a chair away from him...And he bent over and hissed in my face. xDD
Ryan and Tom talk about Football during rests. o_o
Ryan dances with his trombone when playing Eb scales. xD
Brian once pole-danced with his trombone. xD

the trumpets are funny they put their mouthpieces in thier bells and then play it . it anyos our teacher horibly

Well, my trumpet section only have nine of us, my being the only girl and fourth chair. They hate me, bottom line. I sit next to a bunch of smart asses. There is this one guy who can not play softly. He blares everything. it was funny one time.
We were practicing an ending and his blares on purpose and everyone in the band yells. "MOSES!"
And then when I get my hiccup fits. They sound like people stepping on mice.

yeah the first 2 chairs of trumpets are hilarious but it also involves our tenor sax and one percussionist. We've had a incident with a pair of panties for the past week. I don't even know how it started... but that pair of undies have been on a lot of heads sweatdrop eek

No kidding, my trumpet section sucks, and the worst thing about it is that my band director was a trumpet major. Luckily, i play the trombone. biggrin

my section the Trumpets are crazy. before every game we form a huddle and make pep talks. then we put our trumpets in and shout GO TRUMPETS!!! or something of that sort. we do all sorts of crazy things like that. i love being a trumpet

General Drazi Well, it's mainly just these four guys, but they do enough to account for everyone. XD Today, for instance, three of them each brought a fake (obviously) light sabre and had sword fights in the the halls during lunch (one of the baritones joined in too). Then later that day they decided to play Power Rangers instead. rofl Haha, our mascot brought out a light saber randomly while we were playing darth vader in the stands. No clue where it came from. Then, he suddenly manages to get a second one and has a sword fight with one of our dms throughout the song. I'm just like "Uh, okay, this deifnately makes sense. An eagle fighting a drum major with a light saber. Definately normal..."

Here is a good Trumpet section for you.
Westwood High School
number of us: 37(this is no joke)
We are a Wiley bunch. Before every game during football season we always scream at each other for about 30 minutes. We get our own bus because we are the biggest section (our band has 278+ people) We always listen to techno and rave music on the way to the stadium.
During one of the cadences played by the drumline at games, the trumpet section jumps up at a key part and screams "PULL SCROTUM!" and makes a pulling motion in the air, and we got our new director to do it with us.
It has become a new tradition to have an asian freshman kiss the emblem on our show shirts of a senior boy in our section before our first major marching competition. We always have so many shenanigans. I'm really going to miss my brothers and sisters when I graduate. I'm currently a junior so I am getting pretty close and I can honestly say that I love my section. They are my closest friends...
We have so many stories and traditions that I can't even type them all out here.
We have a senior this year name Ryan Voldstad. We translated his name and it is: d**k Powerhouse, best name ever.
An alumni named Nino Ninov (Vonin Onin), we worship that man.
Jay Nester.
Stanford and Rachel- easily two of the best trumpet players in the state of Texas. And I am lucky enough to be able to call them, friend. No, brother and sister.

For parade practice, the band just spread out in the school and split into sections to work on music this year. Our band director just walked around, checking on us every now and then. So... since my section leader is pretty awesome we played it once, got it down, and goofed off for the rest of the practice.
First, our section leader gave another kid a piggy back ride, but we decided it was no fun to watch. So I got a piggy back ride and we played chicken outside of a pool. I fought quite well, but nobody won. =P Then, after the game of chicken during another piggy back ride session my section leader tripped and they laughed so hard the kid who had gotten the ride had to go the bathroom but he went to the girls bathroom because the nearest guys bathroom was locked. And then a girl from our fourth period class nearly walked in on him and we had to stop her, but as he came out there was an akward moment...
Then, at the christmas concert not to long ago, we decided we didnt want to pull the bells out throught he rain. And, it had wheeles anyway. So, we lifted them up off the stage, pulled them through the crowd (it wasnt a big crowd) and the four of us hopped on the bells and rode them down the halls, getting off only to push when we needed. Then, at the end of on hall that was close to the bandroom, theres a ramp thats rather long. Other members from band where passing by to get to the bandroom from the short way (we took the long way since it would be more fun) and the four of us hopped on and rode down the ramp all the way. People laughed when we got to the bottom and then we rode them a little more on the last stretch before we got the bandroom. It was fun, but I dont recomend it... or lifting bells down steps or off stages.
