"As long as you give it a shot we'll be fine," he said then motioned towards the leaves covering the wounds. "You can probably take those off now and clean up the wounds a little more. It won't scar but it might be a little sore for a few days," if the teen looked good it might be easier to find someone he could tolerate. "And stop turning your head away from me. Part of respect is giving a lion or lioness your full attention. Maybe that will help you tolerate people more, too. If you respect them they respect you," it was gunna looong day.

Lacavii looked back to Snatos and sighed as he started pulling the leaves from his wounds. "Give me a sec." Lacavii said and then walked off into a large bush where on the other side a large stream coursed through the forest. Slowly Lacavii stepped into the stream until he was in water that reached over his head. He swam in the ice cold water for a moment and then swam back to shore and walked back to Santos now soping wet. "All clean." Lacavii said as he shook out his fur sending water flying in every direction.

Santos waited for Lacavii to get back. When he did return he laughed and closed one eye as to not get water in it. "Alright sooo she'll probably be by the river near the lake right now," He headed off in a new direction, one they had not traveled that day, to get out of the woods faster. Chances were that Lacavii had no clue about this way. "I didn't mention that Naida is a water lioness did I? Like Emi but older. She's very pretty, really," He said looking over his shoulder at Lacavii.

Lacavii followed after Santos his limp much less visibly now as he tried to control the measure of pain he was recieveing. The path they were taking was partially familiar as his wandering through the forest had brought him past some of the path before. "A water lioness eh? This should be interesting." Lacavii commented as Santos looked back at him and he perked up his ears.

"Mhmm. It surprises me that she has yet to find a mate," as they stepped out of the woods he shook his mane out and gave another sigh of relief. The sun greeted them with it's warm rays and Santos grinned. The river was nearby so they could just follow that up towards the lake and they would most likely run into her somewhere along the way.

Naida slid into the water, the coldness unfazing her in the least as she dived towards the bottom of the river before resurfacing. Climbing back out, she looked around but didn't see anyone, 'cept for the lunar cub who'd adopted her. Laying on a sun-drenched rock, she waved her tail so Yiska could chase it, and closed her eyes though she didn't fall asleep. The day was just too perfect to not soak in some sun.

Yiska chased after a butterfly idly as he waited for Naida to come back out of the river, having the time of his cubbie life. Hearing the sound of water dripping as she got out and lay down, he turned tail and pounced on hers. "Do you think Santos will let me join your pride? Your nice to me...I don't want to leave you, ever."

Naida was a little surprised at this statement, and turned her head to watche the cub as he pawed her colorful tail fins and cocked her head with a smile. "I feel honored that you think so highly of me, Yiska...but it's Santos you'll have to ask. Say...next time we see him, we'll ask, okay?" When the cub agreed, and went back to pouncing, she lay her head back down on her paws, the smile never leaving her lips.

Lacavii looked over to Santos as they exited the forest and Lacavii had to shield his eyes from the brightness of the sun. He so rarely came out of the forest anymore that the sun pained him. After a moment Lacavii glanced to the river ahead of them and turned to look at Santos once again. "There's the water. Where to from here?" He asked looking up the river and then down.

Santos looked at the river for a moment and began to walk up towards the lake. "We find her, simple as that," he stated. Then he thought of something. Maybe if he roared she would hear him and let them know where she was. Taking a deep breath he let it out with the loudest roar he could muster up. When it ended he continued to walk, but perked his ears forward to hear any call she would give back.

A roar sounded from the distance, a roar that Naida had grown to know well. Lifting her head alertly, she looked around the river and up to where the forest met the savanah and river country. She knew Santos must be seeking her, but why? Deciding she was never going to find out by just sitting there doing nothing, she stands and roars in answer, hoping he'd hear her. Hopping off the rock, she says lays down enough for Yiska to scramble on, saying "Santos is searching for me...hop on, and we'll go see what he wants. Must be important, I'm sure."

Yiska, who'd been so involved in his game of catching her tail, was startled by Naida's roar and had been sent rolling towards the river. Managing to just barely keep on land, his hind end taking a nice cold dunking in the water, he trotted back up to where she crouched and shook himself off. "Next time, warn me when you do that!" Giggling, he scrabled aboard, taking his customary place with his hind legs on her back, and his front paws on her head.

Laughing quietly, she assures the cub she'll remember next time, and takes off at a trot up the river in the direction she'd heard the call come from.

Lacavii eyed Santos in a calm manner as he roared. "Ok..." Lacavii commented quietly. The roar had caught him off guard but he hid it well. As another roar from in the distance sounded Lacavii's ears perked high. "Female. Not too far up the river." He said as he started following after Santos who had gotten some feet ahead of him. "That who we looking for?"

Santos nodded his head as he heard Naida's answer and then looked over his shoulder at Lacavii. "Of course! She'll be curious as to why I'm calling her so we better hurry," with that he headed off at a full on run. His black paws thudded lightly against the soft ground as he headed for his friend.

Naida broke into a ground eating trot, still wondering why she was being called. She wondered if anything had happened to him or Adia...though, it didn't sound like a call for help at all, so she ruled that out instantly. Every once in awhile she'd shake her head to make the cub giggle, never letting him slip off. She loved having a little lunar shadow following her around, and had gotten quite used to his presence in her life, though she couldn't wait much longer to mention it to her pride leader...it'd really be his decision, but knowing Santos, he'd welcome him in with loving paws.

Shaking her head once more, the cub giggling in her ear, she spied what she sought...the sight of a black mane in the distance. Roaring, she called to him in case he didn't see her yet.

Lacavii sighed as Santos broke into a run. Had Santos forgotten already about his injuries that were still making it hard for him to walk much less run? Lacavii stepped up to a slow trot but anything faster just worsened the pain beyond what he could take. Another roar from ahead made Lacavii realize what he could not see. They were close to their target. Apparently very close.

Santos looked over his shoulder and groaned. He had forgotten about the injury that made Lacavii limp and so he slowed do a trot, leveling with Lacavii. As he heard Naida's roar once again he turned his head and noticed her blue form in the distance. He let out another roar, this one not as loud, and then turned his head back to keep an eye on Lacavii.

Yiska peered ahead, in a perfect position to see ahead for Naida. He was rather proud of his lookout position as he had good eyes to spy holes that a lion might not see and get their paws stuck in and possibly break a leg...at least that's what he told himself, though mostly all he did was ride and enjoy the view, specially when you looked to the side and see through her fins and it made the world all purple, pink and yellow. Looking through her fin, he'd been slightly startled again when Naida roared once more, this time figuring they were getting close to that really funny big black and white lion he liked as well. Looking ahead, he spied Santos and let out a little roar of his own (sounding more like a weird yip that wouldn't carry far) and saw a darker green lion, barely visible except for the fact it was a moving figure, beside him. "Hey, Naida, who's the green lion?"

Naida resisted the urge to look up at Yiska, knowing that would only send the cub tumbling off her. "Green lion? I don't know any green lion...I wonder what's going on..." She padded along a bit more till she topped a hill that seperated them and waited near the top, her head cocked slightly to the side, curiosity etched on her face. She barely noticed when Yiska jumped off to sit beside her.
