I see that you guys are in the middle of telling eachother what you play.
I have 50 pld/war and 50 thf/nin at the moment. About the nin, I did all the quests but lvling it is still expencive if you count what tools cost. I usaly just spam away not caring, get good feedback from the PT and do my job well cous of this. In the end it doesn't take more then a day to farm the gil back as my thf ^^
And dont get me started on pld, wow boy is this a cheap job once you have played thf/nin and nin/war.
Keep it up guys with your rdms, I just see more and more how this job and brd get to be one of those "must have" jobs in a PT. Wont kill or chain much at all without those refresh and dispel spells.
As to rdm/nin, they work great as solo, but I have had a few in PT situations and they do ok as long as they have enough mp to get by. So stock up on those mp+ items before equiping nin sub and you should do fine, and contribute to the dmg pool aswell as maybe even SC wink

I have never partied with a RDM subbed anything but a mage job, prolly cuz i am the RDM in the party.... i think i might try RDM/BRD smile . could be interesting for party play.

Ive been getting crazy gil from parties in boyhada tree, drops there are worth alot. 6k for each item smile .....spider web and HQ crab shell.....money is always short though. Unfortunatly, at lvl 55 i have to buy a bunch of new stuff. 2 swords, news spells and new armour, I have to do some quests too. I might have to hire help for my AFs.... People rarely help for free anymore....

I hate farming. fortunatly, i can farm in some good places. I can average 50k a day in some places of just farming/mining for a little bit. If I get lucky, I can get more domokun . One of the new swords I have to buy is 100k, royal gaurds fleuret....And im so glad i can now wear AF b/c EQ is getting very expensive ><. If you want to farm i would suggest crawlers near windurst. The silk sells for a bunch. And umm, boyhada tree is not farmable till like lvl 70.... and lots of gil sellers farm there. Good luck farming those NMs, they are almost always camped.

Jogglehops w00t i got my beestinger and my mist silk cape!! though i needed help talking care of spipi, so we split the profit 50/50... o yeah im- 10 RNG/5 THF -now {Congratulations} I dont think i will be able to help you though. Ive been very busy with other quests of mine. I just finished genkai 2 and now have to complete AF1-3 and 1-4 and lvl my sub. Then i can start lvling again ><. And when i get to lvl 60, i might stop(well, i will have to stop for genkai) b/c i should lvl WHM and SMN. I really need to too. I have EQ stored for thos jobs and they are taking up space. Gets annoying... i almost forgot farming...EQ costs alot now ><. Maybe i should camp it with you.

Lots of people are leaving to go play WoW and EQ2, one of my first FFXI friends is leaving for EQ2.... sad crying makes me wanna bash EQ2.

Something else I would like to bash with a big stick. domokun Yeah, the dunes does suck, i try to avoid it by not leveling other jobs. I try to stick to parties with people who are at least rank 3, but i dont get lucky all the time. I partied with a lvl 57 rank 1 the other day, wasn't bad but not the best either. FFXI is better than all other MMORPG b/c it has highly overpriced chickens called Chocobos.

Got my thf to lvl 53 and is now lvling in the Tree aswell. Nice place I must say, little to look out for aggro vise and nice exp/drops 3nodding
