Ewwwwwwwwwwwwww, Tohma!! I hate that jerk. He has no taste, and he played keyboard, who the hell plays keyboard for a band!?! (sorry if you acctually do sweatdrop )
I also think it's partly his fault Yuki is as messed up as he is, of course there is the first problem of rape, killing, etc. but Tohma doesn't seem to want yuki to get over it...... confused

I think Tohma is a pain in the a**. I hated the way he treated Suichi and how he acts as if Yuki can't take care of himself. But every once in a while I find myself liking him. The only time I really, really liked Tohma was when he pushed Taki into the street. I wanted to hug him right then 4laugh

I like Tohma. He's all smiles and happy mrgreen , then he's totally like "RAWR!" domokun and... yeah. Love 'em. He's totally bipolar and unpredictable. And we ALL know he's in the closet ninja . Nothing to do now but pity him.

Well, I really like Tohma....
He might be a bit of an egoist, and his attitude towards Yuki and Shuichi's relationship is not one I agree with, but I like his attitude in general, and the way he cares for Yuki.
And I love the way he dresses!

*Revives another thread* The necromancer strikes again! Sorry but... it's a Tohma thread... I HAVE to...He's my favourite character in Gravitation after all.

Personally I think Tohma is a little misunderstood... I mean okay we all know he is in love with Yuki, he never says it, but it is a given. Often Gravitation fans speculate that's the reason he married Mika, just to get closer to Eiri. In some ways I can see this as true, however I don't think he should really be wronged for it because as the series progresses we can see that he really does just see Yuki as a younger brother to protect. After all at the end of the anime it's pretty obvious Mika's pregnant. Yuki tells her to "Wear more" during her "special" time.

As for how Tohma treats Shuichi... IT IS JUSTIFIED! Tohma knows music and he knows what people like... he also knows how to run a business. When Shuichi first started he really wasn't ready for the responsibility that was being placed in front of him so Tohma had to get a little rough. He saw potential in the boy, but he had to bring it out lest Shuichi be a liability on the record label.
As for the situation with telling Shuichi to stay away from Yuki, that was also justified and Shuichi SAW that afterwards. The writer was under a lot of stress and had health problems as it was. As much as Shuichi's exuberant nature brought out the good in Yuki it also put a lot of stress on him. Tohma saw this and said "enough" he wanted to protect his brother from being all the more hurt.

Now when it comes to pushing the lead singer of Ask into oncoming traffic... okay, I'll concede and admit that's a little over the top and even a little crazy... but I like the sudden snap moments he has... It just adds this great dark edge to him. Very sexy in my opinion.

@HoshiNoMiko: I agree mostly with you. Tohma feels greatly responsible for what happened to Eiri in NY and he'll do whatever he can to help him. But he's also owns a company. Unfortunately for Shuichi, he stepped on to Tohma’s two most important territories--Eiri and the company. Of course Shuichi's going to get a lot of backlash for it. Especially since Shuichi tends to act like an idiot a lot of the time. That doesn't exactly garner any trust from Tohma.

I mean, would you willingly entrust your fragile ward to some hyper active singer, who can’t get his act together?
