"Well then my love I shall pick you up in ten minutes?" He asked his mate happily, just wanting to get ready. "I just want to have a quick shower thats all" he said to his mate, pleased to have him for the afternoon before he offically moved in with him.

"That sounds j-just fine." It was almost a chirp, because....because seeing Imhotep was happy. And getting out of the apartment would be wonderful.

Imhotep stood up and walked to his wardrobe to pick something out to wear as he spoke to his mate. "Well then I will see you soon my darling" he said as he found his favorite leather jacket with the two hieroglyphics on it and pulled it out.
Imhotep rested the phone on his shoulder, still having it pressed agiesnt his ear and pulled out a pair of dark plue jeans, a pair of leather boots and a casual shirt. He walked over to the bed and placed the clothes on it and boots on the floor, pleased he hadnt put these clothes away just yet and changed ears that the phone was pressed agienst.
"Is there anything you wish for me to bring you?" He asked his kitten, wondering if he wanted him to stop at the store for anything, Imhotep had to make one stop before he went to pick up Ari anyway.

"Nah. I'm f-fine." He was smiling happily even though Imhotep couldn't see him. The little kitten was almost beaming, having drifted over to his couch and perched on the armrest.

"Ok then, I guess I will see you soon sweetheart, I will be bringing you a little something also" he said to his mate, planning on picking up two dozen red roses for him.

"See you!" Ari chirped, and then blushed as he he stumbled over the next words - he hadn't actually said them first, after all this time - , rubbing the back of his neck. "...I l-love y-you."

Imhotep smiled a bit more to himself as he heard his mates words "I love you also my darling, see you soon" he said as he reluctantly hung up the phone, wishing he could still talk to him. He sat stearing at the phone for a little bit, thinking about his mate before shaking his head to clear it "wont be long now till I can see him" he said softly to himself.
He picked up the phone once more and dialed the florist and ordered the roses for his mate along with a medium sized white polar bear that held felt roses. Imhotep had seen that bear in the shop window last time he had walked past and was pleased that the florist still stocked them as it had been a while ago since he had seen them.
Imhotep hung up after the order was placed and ran off to have a shower, he had to look his best for where they were going. Granted it was casual but still he didnt exactly want to show up looking horrible for his mate or anyone else, his mate was just far more important.

Meanwhile, Ari had stopped himself from tidying up a fourth or fifth time - it was clean, with nothing left to move or adjust or dust off - and grabbed a glass of water, reclining on his sofa and waiting for Imhotep to come over.

Imhotep finished getting dressed, grabed his keys, wallet and cellphone and ran out of his room shutting the door behind him. He sighed as he ran down the stairs and outside the guest house and towards his car, not wanting to have to make his mate wait for long.
As soon as Imhotep reached his car, he got in, turned it on and took of down the driveway after making sure noone was behind him. Imhotep turned on the radio and listened to it as he drove, making his way towards the florist first.

The kitten eventually stretched out on the sofa, tail twitching nervously back and forth as he tried to rest until Imhotep came.

Imhotep arrived at the florist several minutes later, he got out of the car and ran inside and grabed what he ordered and paid for it and then left. He walked to his car, making sure he wasnt going to be TOO late for his mate and placed the roses and bear gently in the back, climbed in and started towards the appartments.
About 10 minutes later he rolled up outside the apartments and parked, he lent over and picked up the couple of dozen red roses and the bear, locked the car up and started towards the front door.

Ari was still trying to take a nap, although it wasn't really working. His heart kept pounding in his chest, and he tossed and turned fitfully, mewling softly.

Imhotep smiled hello to the doorman as he walked in the open door and stood at the bottom of the stairs and tried to remember what room his mates was. After a few moments he remembered and started up the stairs, hoping Ari was alright, not wanting to have to 'save' him from a certain cat. After that thought he hurried up the rest of the stairs, not wanting him to be left alone and walked over to his mates apartment door as soon as he reached the desired floor.
He walked over and knocked on the door, waiting and hoping his mate would open soon, not only because he missed him greatly and wanted to see him but also because he didnt trust his ex as far as he could throw him.

At the knock, Ari started up and bounded across the room, throwing the door open. Somehow, he had known it would be Imhotep, and so his smile was brilliant and embarassed all at the same time. "H-hello!"
Around a corner, someone lurked, peering at the wolf and scowling, before it disappeared once more.

Imhotep smiled at his mate warmly as he looked over at a near by corner, feeling like someone was watching him. He shook the thought off and put it down to his imagination and looked back at his mate "hey sweetheart" he said as he lent fowards and kissed his mate tenderly. "These are for you" he said as he held out the roses and the teddy bear to his kitten, thankful he was now here with him, he just wanted to spend a nice afternoon alone with him.
