my band is nearly 400 and the sections are like families

Well, I'm pretty close to most of the band members, though sometimes it's hard to read the expressions on my woodwind section.

Alot of them are freshmen, and they're the band's future. Seriously, there's only 3 seniors and 10 juniors out of a band of 30. gonk

I'm not IN the corp but I know everything and anything that goes on with teh corp. Thus being said, they're like a family, They bug eachother they laugh with eachother they cry together they're just a big huge small family. But I know the corp has a TON of drama, and by that I mean the guard is full of bitchy girls, is it just me or is it ALL guards are like this. xp

We have an INSANE amount of drama in our band, but when it comes down to it, we all (sort of) have each other's backs (occasionally). I mean, we usually play football together on off days (more like the guys, and the girls laugh). We've got section parties, and that kind of stuff. We also do Ihop after games.

I guess that's the closest we can get with a 150 person band.

man, people in marching band are all friends and they're their primary friends and they add each other's myspaces'. xDDD I'm the outsider, SIGH!

My Band is definatly a second family...I'm withthem even more thatn i am at home!! biggrin I don't get along with everyone all the time but we all can count on each other to be there if you REALLY need us...lol We have this tradition of eating at Hong Kong Garden before EVERY band competition...it's so fun!
