Fedha swallowed slowly at the explination, his eyes flicking between the two. So he saw things like her daughter did, but with out touching another. Were powers usually closely related in families?
"Help would be..." He trailed off, red? "Who is this Red you speak of?" He tried to keep the demand out of his tone, but did a poor job of it.

((Sorry about that, had a lapse of rp inspiration ))
Na could only cuddle his daughter warmly with a paw, knowing that the double edged sword they bore with them could not be fixed, even if they wanted to. And for him the sight beyond sight was what kept him alive, gave him the one up on those who would have him dead. Still, he nodded, giving Ivie's head a reassuring lick. "Don't even worry 'bout coming to me if you have any problems. M'all ears."
At mention of Red however, Na's gaze flickered back onto Fedha, his demanding tone making Red bristle from where he watched within Na. Once again that venomous hatred tainted his normally innocent amber eyes and when he spoke it was with much more precision and chilliness than normal.
"I am Red."
Na blinked, forcing the other voice to the back of his mind, terrified that Ivie might have caught the difference in his tone. He tried to backpedal, cover up his mistake.
"Uh..I mean, M'not red, I'm blue." he grinned stupidly "Blue like the skkkkyyy."

She sniffled and nodded, cuddling further and moving to rub her head against his large blue paw. "Kay~" she replied quietly, "I will."
She turned to gaze at Fedha from the corner of her eyes, a little startled at his tone. He certainly seemed intent on finding the right person. "My daddy isn't--" It was then that her father spoke and she couldn't help but wince a little, cowering slightly.
Who was her father really?
Was he the loveable, cuddly lion he made himself out to be, or was there something else? Something darker lurking beneath all the happiness.
Her fur fluffed a little but she decided not to question it, laughing quietly at his next words. "But the sky isn't always blue daddy!"

Fedha was getting irritated, Ivie wasn't helping this at all. Mrost had been right about Na-Be being difficult. His eyes narrowed more as Ivie began to protest, and then she cut off. Probably from his tone. Now, was he speaking about colors or lions? He wsa confusing, if not a fool. Though was it on purpose or by accident?
"So you know not how to help your daughter from such an unfortunate future, such a painful future?" He said slowly. Perhaps if Fedha could let Na foccus on his family, and what might happen to it (or Ivie, really) than Na would be more willing to let something slip...

Na grinned at Ivie, noting once again just how perceptive she really was, he was like the sky in that respect, changeable, warm one moment, chilly and unforgiving the next, and unfortunately, try as he might, very much seperate from normal lions.
"No, it isn't Ivie, and in that you are right, same as the sky, I'm not always the same either." he frowned, hating to tell lies. "Red rules the night time."
He looked to Fedha with a sad frown. "If there was a way to free her from the curse then I would give it, yup, but she might need it someday." As much as he hated to admit it, he knew Mrost would one day come after his cubs, if only to spite him.

Ivie seemed to have forgotten her previous conversation with Fedha and becoming more powerful in recieving training. In fact she seemed quite content to just sit and play with the tuft of her father's tail as the others spoke.
It was only at Fedha's comment that the happy comfort slipped away to fear again and she let her body flatten to the ground, suddenly wary of making contact with her father despite the fact that nothing had happened.
"I'll need it? But why daddy? Why do I need a curse?"

Fedha's ears perked slightly. So she would need it some day... because of Mrost? His gaze wandered toward Ivie. "I told you that sometimes curses can be useful." Well he sort of told her that, more or less he had told her that his 'curse' helped him. Or would help him. Sure she felt the emotions other felt, but it was an easy price to pay for knowledge no one else could recieve, in his opinion.
His eyes moved back to the elder. "So you would teach her of the seer ways?" He asked, excitement lacing his voice.

Na frowned slightly, feeling trapped between a rock and a hard place, he hated to lie, but at the same time, he hated to speak of such negative things. So in the situation, Red took advantage of his faltering, pushing Na to the back of his own mind. His next words were cold and metholodical, tinged with Red's usual arrogant drawl. His gave flicked down to Ivie and he stated simply. "You will need it one day because your grandfather, Mrost, Na's father." he'd never refer to the beast as a relation of his "Wants you dead as much as he wants Na dead. That or he wants to control you for his own ends. The seer abilities are only a curse amongst normal lions who fear your powers. To gods, you are terrifying, you are the unknown, the last wildcard that could prove the downfall to their plots."
He smirked "I cannot control the seer gift but I can see the visions it shows to Na, they are something out of a nightmare. Mrost is a manipulative, brutal b*****d. But you alone have Na's ability to outrun him."
He gave Fedha a cool gaze, clearly thinking straighter than Na was. "Yes. I'd teach her what I know from watching and then kick Na into telling her what he knows from watching. What's it to you?" he asked matter-of-factly. "Because I swear if you are another of the normals out for an easy way to see what lies ahead of you, then you are out of luck, Seer abilities rarely show what the future holds for others."

She nodded slowly in Fedha's direction and glanced up at her father with nervous curiosity. His voice had gone...cold, and it ran shivers down her spine.
Yet as she listened to his words fear struck her. She did not want to die! She did not want to be stolen away from this place. She loved the Pridelands and being with her parents and siblings - even if she was somewhat distant from them.
She'd be taught? But what about...
"Daddy, Fedha'Kialio wants to learn too."

Fedha gestured a paw toward Ivie. "Exactly what your daughter speaks of. If you teach her that means you could teach me too... If you are willing to take on two students in place of just one?" He raised his brows, easily putting a questioning tone to his words.
Even if Na, or red, or whoever, didn't teach him he'd just make Ivie show him and tell him about the things she'd learned.

A smirk curled across Red's face at the idea of teaching new Seers how to evade dangers. He just hoped that Seer abilities worked the same for everyone as they did for Na, though granted, most lions probably didn't live suspended somewhere between reality and some wacked out dreamworld.
"I will teach both of you what I know then, hopefully it will be of some use to you in hearing what the abilities have to say."
Red was far from a caring or a giving lion, but the idea of making Mrost stumble was too good to ignore.

"Wheeee~!" Ivie bounced on her paws with glee, moving to bound around Fedha and her father in a sort of dance. There was joy shining in her eyes now and excitement at the prospect of learning.
"Daddy teach us!" She made to bounce circles around the grey juvenile, a wide grin on her face. "Did you hear that Fedha'Kialio?"
"Daddy gonna teach us~ Daddy gonna teach us~" She said the chant in a sing-song fashion.
"I'm gonna go tell mama!" And she dashed off as was becomign habit with her.

Fedha let a purr curl out of his throat as his eyes flickered about, following Ivie in her path. He let a slow grin form on his maw and he nodded once to her. So he would be taught. He'd accomplished what he needed for the night.
Bowing his head to Na, or whoever this lion thought he was, he murmered, "When shall we begin lessons?"
