Keika
one
A new boy, whose colors range in the black and ice blue ranges, appears out of no where. He sits glaring at the floor with his legs crossed and his arms folded. He looked none too happy. He knew no one and really did not want to be there at that moment.
Shinsetsu spotted the boy who was smoking and eyed him carefully. After rolling his eyes and returned his gaze to the floor where he continued to glare. Shinsetsu stayed this way until a splash of pink interupted his angst. With a surprisedface he looked up and spotted a pair of huge amber eyes staring at him.
"Hi! I'm Keika, what is your name?"
The bouncy pink ballerina asked with a cute smile and pose to match. She waited a while for him to respond, he seemed adamant to remain silent as a rock though. Keika frowned and put her hand to his forhead.
"You don't have a fever... but you must be sick... you won't talk!"
Shikyo peers over at the new spirit and at Kieka, he was still felling rather guilty. But the more guilty he felt , oddly, the happier he was.
Shinsetsu narrowed his eyes and batted Keika's hand away. He cringed when she giggled and hunched his shoulders as if trying to go back into a shell and hide form the hyper active bubbly pink thing.
Keika giggled when he atted her hand away and hopped around him, spotting Shikyo she waved.
"Shikyo, look, it's a new sprite... he won't talk to me though..."
Her voice dropped at the end. She wondered how anyone could ignore, or not speak to her?
Shikyo smiled and waved to the pink Spirit. He knew she hated to be ignored. It was possibly the worst thing for this talkative spirit. He took another puff of his cigerette.

Keika was sitting on a big pink pillow and humming as she watched other sprites and new orbs appearing. She smiled at any who looked at her. Only one or two sprites where on her bad side, but one was her brother and she had to be nice to him.
Taldith wandered around the room aimlessly. Such a slow and boring day it had been... He lugged himself around, hoping to find something or someone to play with. Scanning the room, he quickly spotted a familiar pink girl.
He took off at a sprint, waving and yelling, "Keika!"
Keika whirled around and blinked. She smiled widely when she spotted her drawing parter Taldith. She waved and stood up waiting for him to get with in ear shot. Not being one for yelling so much.
"Hey Taldith! How're you??"
She asked happily as she glomped him once he came into her range.
Taldith toppled over at the sudden force. He stared up at the ceiling blankly momentarily, never having been glomped or involved in any sort of rough physical contact before. Finally realizing that it wasn't something to hurt him, he laughed.
"Hi! I-I'm good! How're you?"
Keika giggled and got off of Taldith, offering her hand down to him to help him up. She brushed some dust off of her dress and smiled, her curls bouncing a bit.
"I'm well! Hey you want to play, or draw or something?"
She offered sweetly happy to talk to someone. She had been with her mom for the past day after seeing Shinsetsu and Shilowe. Sharpie had insisted on recurling her silve hair.
He took her hand, lifting himself up and then brushing himself off as well. He brought his right hand up to his hair, curling the hair around his finger.
"Sure! I don't really feel like drawing right now...do you wanna play?"
Keika looked up with a thoughtful gaze and thought about what game to play. They could play tag, but there were only two of them. What to do? Oh yes!
"Let's play hide and go seek! You go hide and I'll seek ok?"
"Sure!" Taldith exclaimed. "Okay, I'll wait for you to cover your eyes and start counting..."
Keika nodded and turned her back to Taldith covering her eyes with her hands and giggling before she started to count loudly.
"ONE... TWO... THREE..."
She would count until thirty while Taldith hid, then would run about looking for him.
Not watching where she was going she walked directly into Keika knocking them both to the floow. "OoohMyGosh! I'm soooo sorry... Keika, are you hurt?" She asked tring to get up only falling off balance again and falling back to the floor.
Keika fell over and broke off counting at twenty. She blinked and looked at Zoey. She smiled and laughed standing up and brushign herself off.
Yeah, I'm fine! Are you?"
She smiled then remembered she was still suppose to be counting.
"Oh, go hide, I'm counting! Twently One... Twenty Two... ..."
Zoey smiled. "I'm fine," Listening to Keika count... "Why are you counting?" she asked watching nad looking aorund the room.
Keika stopped counting as she sences that Taldith had dissapeared. She uncovered her eyes and stopped coutning, turning to Zoey and then looking around.
"I was playing hide and go seek with Taldith, but he left I think..."
She said turning her amber gaze back to Zoey with a grin.
She peeked into a room, spotting two others like herself. One had blue hair, the other ash blonde. Aria sneaked inside, keeping quiet.
Looking around Zoey nodded "you're right i think he left, makes me kinda sad though, I haven't seen him in a few days" She sighed, and rememberd the orbs, "I don't think i've seen you since i got these, My watcher asked me to look after them until they grow, she says that they are my family." Opening her bag grinning she showed Keika the two Orbs she was watching, the red orb glowed and you could feel the warmth that came form its surface. Zoey smiled again setting her own orb down and taking out Dard's. She also set the bag with the other orb down and sat her self cross-legged on th floor infront of Keika.
"I think the hotter this one gets the closer he is to drowing, his name is Dard.... I found that out when i first got it. i hugged it and the name kinda came into my head, it was wierd, anything like that happen to you with your family?" Zoey asked looking back up at Keika.
Keika smiled and sat down with Zoey looking at the orbs with glittering eyes. She smiled curiously and eyed them both, feeling the one that gave out the warmth and giggled slightly
"Wow, they are so pretty... I wish my mommy would give me orbs like those to look after... when I met my brother, he had already come from his orb..."
Keika smiled and looked up at Zoey, thinking about the second question she was asked.
"When I tried to hug Shin, the only thing that came to my head was the word "meanie"... he wouldn't even talk to me... but thats ok... sharpie said he's shy and doesn't like his voice..."
Zoey smiled and Held out Dard's orb to Keika, waiting for her to accept, and hold it. "I've heard Shin speak, and I like his voice," Zoey said with a blush, in a quick attempt to recover she added, "I'm glad that i've them to take care of, I just got the orange one with a note when i work up. My mom said that she knew i was a big girl and could take care of my sister too. I hope Dard and my sister are nice and that they like me..." she paused and looked down at her sister's orb which was in the bag still. It didn't give oof much heat nor much glow and Zoey even wondered if she would beable to get her sister's name before she came from her orb. After another moment she desided that it as because she was always playing with and touching Dard's orb that it gave her his name and the hum it gave when she touched it. Zoey then looked back at Keika, "My mom also told me that even though we are considered a family we are not really related... Like we all live together but we don't come from the same orb so to speak, what do you think she ment by that?"
Keika took the orb and craddled it loving how warm it was. She smiled and stroked it delicatly. She then looked to Zoey and pondered her statements and question.
"I have, only once... he was sleeping... it was funny, I think he said someones name... I didn;t understand it though... he was mummbling..."
She smiled and looked at the flowery orb wondered what it's name would be. She then remembered the question she tilted her head looking up thinking for a long moment.
"Maybe... she means... you might be these two's big sisters... but... you didn't have the same... parents? Real parents I mean..."
Keika had been told that two parents who loved each other were blessed with a child, or in their cases, orbs. But Keika was told that Sharpie had found her, and so Sharpie became her adopted mommy...
Seeing a sprite with wild green hair and red marks under her eyes Zoey crooked her head to the side and stared. "Well yes we ARE all in here, or so it seems." Zoey shrugged. Turning back to Keika, she spoke "I'm not sure if thats what she ment... but who knows." Maybe she'd ask her mom when she saw her next, takeing another servay of the room, "It seems there are a lot of sprites in here now aren't there?" Looknig balc at her bag she placed her own orb in it and took out the Orange flowered one. "Whats your name little one?" Zoey asked as she pulled out a cloth and whiped down the orb, making it shine with an almost mirror like luster.
Keika looked at the new sprite aswell, but said nothing. Keika turned her attention to the flower orb. She put her cheek on Dard's orb and hugged it gently. She liked this orb and couldn't wait to meet Dard. She hoped they could be friends.
"There are alot now... I wonder where Shin is? Probaly looking for Sharpie or Shilowe... I think those two are like bestest friends.."
She said thoughtfully, closing her eyes and huggling the orb in her arms, her own orb glowing next to her.
Dard's Orb buzzed and hummed in Keika's arms letting more warmth flow from the orb. The wave of warmth filled the air almost making it hot around where Keika, Zoey and the other orb was.
Zoey smiled t the rise in temp and was gald that Dard liked Keika, Or atleast thats what it seemed. Zoey smiled, "I think he likes you, I hope he is a nice sprite... I don't know if i could deal with many more mean ones, I've met a few rude sprites.... I don't understand them frankly." Zoey lookd back don at the flowery Orb in her lap. It glowed, or so Zoey thought, of the rise in tempature as well. She wondered and guessed, "I guess flowers like heat," watching the orb glow.
Zoey pressed her face against the orb amd smiled she asked again but this time she asked with her mind more so then her voice, to her suprise there was an answer,
"Mali" The voice said.
Excited she looked up at Keika "Did you hear it? She spoke! She siad her name was Mali!"

Keika huggled Dard's orb as it buzzed and hummed and giggled. She smiled and closed her eyes as it gave off heat, then listened to Zoey as she exclaiemd the orb had talked.
"No I didn't hear.. Mali? What a pretty name... I'm glad Dard likes me... I hope I can be friends with him..."
She smiled and opened her eyes to watch Zoey and Mali's orb.
Zoey was happy, she knew the names of both of her Orbed sibblings, It had been a good day. She put Mali's orb back in her back and pushed the flap over it. She looked for and then grabbed her own orb nad looked down at the landscape of the night sky on her orb. She smiled and hummed a little, not really a tune but humming none the less. She put both of her hands on her orb and pulled it up to study it better. She was so happy to have a little night sky with here where ever she was she felt the best when it was night time. With another smile she kissed it and there was a warmth that spread through her body and a flash that kinda scared her. She felt strong again and she felt a nerve she hadn't felt before. looking around she smiled at Keika and at the humming answer that seemed to come from Dard's Orb.
"Woah! Where did that light coming from?"
Keika said sitting up and staring around the room, thenrested her eyes on Zoey's orb. She tilted her head and stared at the orb with her huge amber eyes. Could it have come from Zoey's orb?
"You saw the light too?" Zoey asked excitedly, "It came form my Orb, it does that sometimes, does your orb ever do that???" Zoey looked at Keika, without waiting for a response she picked up Keika Orb and offered it to her as a trade, "I bet if it hasn't we can get it to!" Zoey waited to see if Keika was up for the challange and ready to trade Keika her own Orb for Dard's.
Keika nodded and handed Zoey Dards orb as she took her own and held it closely. She had never seen it flash. She had seen an off pink light emit from it, but she thought that was normal, no flashing lights though.
"I've only seen it glow pink..."
Zoey wondered for a few moments on this bit of info.. "humm... so no flashing... well what I do is i find the constlation on mine, and i started to trace it, i was really getting into it when the first flast happend. then after that I only had to retrace the constlation in order to get an effect. When i touch it that way, i feel strength and energy flow through me.... why don't you try something like that?" Zoey asked. looknig at Keika's orb, "Find a pattern in your orb and trace it with your fingers, you've got to consontrate on finding it. It might take some time but you just kinda got to let it come to you." Zoey offered as an explaination of what she had done.
Keika nodded nad stared at her orb with curiosity. She put her hands on it and with her left hand she started to trace the swirling pink and white pattern on it. She tilted her head and stared at it for a while until it glowed lightly. A soft noise, almost like a jumble of random, but beautiful notes came from it and Keika watched as a soft pink link filtered from it and swirled around Zoey, herself and the orbs. Makign them all feel refreshed and healthier.
"Whoa!"
Zoey cheered. "YAYA! Soo you did it you did it!" She grinned and hugged Keika, "That was amazing! totally awesome even! and that sound, the sound was beautiful!"
Keika smiled and huggled her orb tenderly stroking it as i it were a oet and she was giving it a good job pet.
"Yeah... I wonder what it did... I feel better, but I dunno what the orb did..."
"I'm not sure but i feel... rested like i could play all night long. Mine doesn't make sounds it just well..." Zoey traced over her constlation and there was another flash, Zoey didn't feel her normal rise in strength, insted it felt like she was more awake. "Well, shoot, what happened?" she thought.
Keika smiled and stroked her orb while she watched Zoey. When Zoey's orb flashed, Keika gave a loud yipping noise and blinked. The flash had scared her. She laughed nervously trying to act like it hadn't happened.
"Sorry Keika," Zoey said notcing thte jump. "I'm not sure what happened i normally do that and I feel stong and happy, kinda like what your Orb did." Wondering what had gone wrong Zoey thought some more. 'Maybe I traced the constlation wrong?'
"Its ok Zoey... maybe your orb is tired? I think I should be getting to bed..."
Keika looked up and sat the scantily clad pink ninja, Sharpie to tuck her and her brother into bed. Shin was clutching to the billowy red scarf which his part of Sharpie's face.
"Night Zoey!"
She called as she ran over and Sharpie picked her and Shin up and carried them off to where Keika and Shin slept most of the time.
Zoey waved goodnight to Keika and sat on the floor pondered what had happened some more. Unsure of what to say or think she picked up her things and held her Orb tight to her body moving over to the overly large chair that she had been sitting in the day she met Shinsetsu. she made herself comfortable and looked at Dard's orb. 'I hope you come out soon, I want to meet you' she thoguht as she got ready for bed.
'You will soon. I promise it will be only a little bit longer and I'll come out and play, I want ot me you too.' replied the Orb.
Shocked Zoey looked at Dard's Orb. "You Talked!" she said alloud.
No response came from the orb she shook her head dismissing it, 'I must have imagined it, maybe i am just tired.' Zoey yawned. 'Good night Dard, good night Mali' She thoguht with a smile as she slowly drifted into slumber.

Came two muffled voices that Zoey figuared she imagined agian, wanting the two Orbs she took care of to grow. Zoey drifted off into a dreamless sleep.
"No I didn't hear.. Mali? What a pretty name... I'm glad Dard likes me... I hope I can be friends with him..."

Zoey cheered. "YAYA! Soo you did it you did it!" She grinned and hugged Keika, "That was amazing! totally awesome even! and that sound, the sound was beautiful!"
Keika smiled and huggled her orb tenderly stroking it as i it were a oet and she was giving it a good job pet.
"Yeah... I wonder what it did... I feel better, but I dunno what the orb did..."
"I'm not sure but i feel... rested like i could play all night long. Mine doesn't make sounds it just well..." Zoey traced over her constlation and there was another flash, Zoey didn't feel her normal rise in strength, insted it felt like she was more awake. "Well, shoot, what happened?" she thought.
Keika smiled and stroked her orb while she watched Zoey. When Zoey's orb flashed, Keika gave a loud yipping noise and blinked. The flash had scared her. She laughed nervously trying to act like it hadn't happened.
"Sorry Keika," Zoey said notcing thte jump. "I'm not sure what happened i normally do that and I feel stong and happy, kinda like what your Orb did." Wondering what had gone wrong Zoey thought some more. 'Maybe I traced the constlation wrong?'
"Its ok Zoey... maybe your orb is tired? I think I should be getting to bed..."
Keika looked up and sat the scantily clad pink ninja, Sharpie to tuck her and her brother into bed. Shin was clutching to the billowy red scarf which his part of Sharpie's face.
"Night Zoey!"
She called as she ran over and Sharpie picked her and Shin up and carried them off to where Keika and Shin slept most of the time.
Zoey waved goodnight to Keika and sat on the floor pondered what had happened some more. Unsure of what to say or think she picked up her things and held her Orb tight to her body moving over to the overly large chair that she had been sitting in the day she met Shinsetsu. she made herself comfortable and looked at Dard's orb. 'I hope you come out soon, I want to meet you' she thoguht as she got ready for bed.
'You will soon. I promise it will be only a little bit longer and I'll come out and play, I want ot me you too.' replied the Orb.
Shocked Zoey looked at Dard's Orb. "You Talked!" she said alloud.
No response came from the orb she shook her head dismissing it, 'I must have imagined it, maybe i am just tired.' Zoey yawned. 'Good night Dard, good night Mali' She thoguht with a smile as she slowly drifted into slumber.

Came two muffled voices that Zoey figuared she imagined agian, wanting the two Orbs she took care of to grow. Zoey drifted off into a dreamless sleep.

A new boy, whose colors range in the black and ice blue ranges, appears out of no where. He sits glaring at the floor with his legs crossed and his arms folded. He looked none too happy. He knew no one and really did not want to be there at that moment.
Shinsetsu spotted the boy who was smoking and eyed him carefully. After rolling his eyes and returned his gaze to the floor where he continued to glare. Shinsetsu stayed this way until a splash of pink interupted his angst. With a surprisedface he looked up and spotted a pair of huge amber eyes staring at him.
"Hi! I'm Keika, what is your name?"
The bouncy pink ballerina asked with a cute smile and pose to match. She waited a while for him to respond, he seemed adamant to remain silent as a rock though. Keika frowned and put her hand to his forhead.
"You don't have a fever... but you must be sick... you won't talk!"
Shikyo peers over at the new spirit and at Kieka, he was still felling rather guilty. But the more guilty he felt , oddly, the happier he was.
Shinsetsu narrowed his eyes and batted Keika's hand away. He cringed when she giggled and hunched his shoulders as if trying to go back into a shell and hide form the hyper active bubbly pink thing.
Keika giggled when he atted her hand away and hopped around him, spotting Shikyo she waved.
"Shikyo, look, it's a new sprite... he won't talk to me though..."
Her voice dropped at the end. She wondered how anyone could ignore, or not speak to her?
Shikyo smiled and waved to the pink Spirit. He knew she hated to be ignored. It was possibly the worst thing for this talkative spirit. He took another puff of his cigerette.

She felt wonderful and wondered what else she might beable to do with this new found gift.

He noticed a flash and looked back over at a girl with blue hair and an off looking orb with sparkly dots on it. He stared at her or then turned back to stare out the window. He didn't even bother to look down at the orb clutch in his arms, he could look at it when ever he wanted.
Zoey looked around the room again and noticed the sky from the window. She looked down and near the smae place she had me taldith she saw another boy. She quarked her head to the side and looked at him. She liked his hair, it was kinda blue, She liked the color blue. Wondering if he wanted to be friends and she wanted to get a closer look at his hair she smield and slide down from the couch. She noticed that it was less effort to walk and she seemd a lot quieter as she moved though the room. ' how odd' she though and wondered what that flash of light and that surge from her orb might have actually done to her.
Soon she came to her destination and wonder if the boy noticed her she waited for a few minutes before clearing her throat. "hu hummm..."

He turned and looked at her with bored eyes. It was the girl that;s orb had made that flash. He hated bright things. Lucky for him, this girl was not nearly as bright or colorful as the pink one. He bit the inside of his mouth as he waited for her to introduce herself. He knew it was coming one way or another.
Zoey smiled politely and waited for a moment. he seemed to be annoied at her it seemed. "My name is Zoey, I was, well I just wondered if you would mind if i came over here and sat near you while I colored. You see the light is better over here." She gestered to the like streaking through the window. She then waited for an answer with a small smile on her face. She wasn't sure what to think of this boy.
Shinsetsu looked at her a moment and nodded his approval and went back to staring out the window. She wasn't too bad. Yet. She was not nearly as loud as soem of the others here. His mind skipped back to Keika and he wrinkled up his nose as he watched the clouds become thinner. He wondered if there were any sprites like him who were calm and not noisey.
After thinking he glanced ober his shoulder with his pale eyes and face to stare at Zoey while she colored. He wondered what she was drawing, or coloring. He couldn't tell, he was not one for drawing, or art in general.
Zoey looked up from her drawing and smiled, "Humm... I've some extra papers and stuff if you want to draw or color with me." She offered when she npotice she was being watch. After a moment she finished the line she was drawing and tilted it to the boy, The pictuare was over the wind fram with a not to shabbily done drawing of the boy sitting. It was a rough drawing but you could tell that it was suposed to be. Zoey searched for another color, "what do you think?" she asked as she searched.
Shinsetsu tilted his head at the drawing, it was ok, if you liked art. Which he had not yet been warmed up to. In fact, he had not been warmed up to anything. The boy did not even like speaking and had not spoken a word to anyone since he came from his orb. He turned his cold eyes to Zoey then sat down and decided to watch her color therest of the picture. Maybe if he liked it, he would say so. But only maybe.
Zoey went back to consontrating on her hunt for a blue to match the boys hair. Frustreated and determined on finding it she looked in her bag and smiled at the warm feel of Dard's Orb. It seemd like it was humming a little, 'wonder why its doing that' she thought as she shifted through her bag. She smiled when she found it and then shifted to where she way laying on her stomache with her Orb between her and her bag.
As if senceing what coloring she was looking for, Shinsetsu put his hand into the pile of colored things and handed the color Zoey was looking for to her. Whether it be a good guess or Shin being vain, only he knew. He moved his hands from his orb and put hios elbows on his knees and held his chin in his small hands. He watched the two orbs she had and wondered what the second one was for.
'Sucess!' she smiled at the way the pictuare was turing out she used a few differnt blues nad a black to blend it in perfectly. the Boy's hair came out brighter then the sky she colored outside the window. She moved on to shade in the back of his clothing. As she colored she noticed there was more ease in her strokes and things were smoother as she colored. She wondered if that was effect that her or had had on her or if it was just her growing. She mentally shrugged it off and made a few more final touches. She made the last stroke on the page and tilted it up toward the boy. "What do you think?" she asked hoping he liked it. She was happy and was amazed at how good this pictuare actually turned out. 'I hope he likes it' she thoguht and then smiled at the boy waiting for his response.
Shinsetsu stared at the picture for a moment, taking in the colors and the shape of everything. His cold eyes darted about the page and then finally, he looke dup at Zoey. Her smile was wide and bright and she seemed proud. He had to admit she had done a good job on coloring him. With an almost perfect likeness to boot.
"I like it..."
He took a shallow breath and parted his painted blue lips. A few quick words in a boyishly cute voice escaped his lips before he sealed them once again. That was the first time he had spoken to anyone. He wasn't to fond of the activity. He could nto understand how the thing worked.
Smileing Zoey felt a blush come to her face. She liked his voice. it was like music to her ears. It was differnt form most of the boys voices she had heard in here. And some how it made her blush. Zoey looked at the pictuare and nodded. "Its the best I've done yet, I really like it. You turened out wonderful!" she smield at the pictuare and then back up at him. A spot of nerves hit her and she took in a deep breath. "I..umm.. I really like your voice, Its nice." She said slowly and softly with a deeper blush rushing to her face.
Shinsetsu's eyes widened and he looked shocked and amazed as she blushed and complimented him. HE ahd no idea what to do. Compliment her back? Thank her? But both of those actions would make him speak. Adn if those few words made her cheeks so pink, thne who knew what more of his words would do to her.
His lips curled a bit into an unsure smile as he seemed to make his shoulders hunch once again and he locked his eyes onto the picture. After a long bit of silence he decided it would be rude to not speak,so despite how he loathed talking, he decided to say his thanks and introduce himself. It was onyl fair, and besides the blushing, this girl seemed ok.

Se asked setting down the pad and picking up her orb, she could use some more strenght right now, she wanted to shop feeling so girly giggly... but she wasn't sure if it would make another flash, and if it did what would she say to Shinsetsu? just taking comfort in gripping her orb she sat and waited.

She is nice, Then I've got a friend name Taldith, but i donno where he is, and a friend name Keika, and... *thinks* I've also got Dard," She siad pointing down to her bag and shoing him the other Orb that she carried with her. "How about you, do you know anyone else?"

Shilowe was sitting silently in the room in a corner as always, every now and then his lavender eyes would glance towards the others sharing the same area. The furious chatter of grown folks filling his ear drums. "How much longer...I just wanna go home." He muttered, closing his eyes, he pulled a round blackish orb to his chest, his hair falling infront of his eyes.
Upon hearing Keika's name Shinsetsu seemed to grow quite anxious and looked around hoping she had fallen asleep and was not looking for him. He spotted two. His eyes stopped on the black and blue one. Shinsetsu wondered who that was and assumed it was a girl by the dress.
Zoey noticed his reaction, "Do you know one of them?" she asked and then thoguh of who might cause that reaction in him... she imdeatly thoguht of her first inmpression of Keika, "You know Keika don't you" She said not really happy not really sad just kinda there. "She is... very pink." Zoey desided for that to be the safest answer. She shruged and watched other other sprites in the room.
Shinsetsu nodded and cringed a bit. She was waaay to pink. Shin then pointed at Shilowe as if askign Zoey if she knew her. Shilowe was very cute and was black and blue, like him. Shinsetsu was growing more and more interested in meet that sprite. He did not want to be rude and abandone this sprite though. Zoey was atleast calm and quite, sometimes.
Shifting in his position he tried to get comfortable, Shilowes butt had fallen alseep. Getting up he took a step forward to only to stumble, it seems his legs had fallen alseep too. Leaning over, he rubbed at the soreness trying his best to make it go away. Glancing away from his overseer for a moment; he looked back up she seemed to have disappeared in the masses. "Wha-?" Shilowe walked forward a limp to his right leg that still was asleep. "Noo....this can't be happening." He grabed at his hair and pulled on it as he groaned. This CAN'T be happening. He thought to himself.
Zoey shook her head, "We can go over and talk to the sprite if you want." She said and stood up. Adjusting her bag and Drad's Orb she offered a hand up to Shin. "Want to?" she asked.
Shinsetsu nodded but seemed to ignore the hand. The boy stood and looked to Zoey before walking over to Shilowe. He saw that something seemed to be wrong. Shinsetsu cocked an eyebrow and walked over to Shilowe. Extending his arm, as if asking if he needed any help walking.
Zoey followed Shin over and watched as he offered to help the other sprite up.
Shilowe was too far-gone to notice the two sprites that were walking up to him. Whimpering lightly he held his arm over his eyes holding his orb under his other arm. Wiping tears from his eyes he noticed one had extended his arm toward him. Instinctively he pushed the other away and took afew steps back. "W-Who are you...?" He asked tearing at the eyes. Shilowe's eye liner was running and were he wiped at was smeared across his pale cheek.
Shinsetsu frowned and his eyes seemed to be full of concern. He kneeled down to be eye level with Shilowe and gently wiped Shilowe's cheek as he watched the eyeliner run and smear on her cheek. He didn't like talking, but forgot that for a split second.
"I'm Shinsetsu."
He said gently as he helped the other sprite up.
Shilowe batted at the other once he touched his face. "Don't...touch me.." He said firmly. Looking away as the other helped him up he continued to wipe at the tears running down his cheeks. He looked like a cow with two black splotches on his face. His hands were complety black also. "I'm Shilowe..." He muttered looking down, rubbing the ink from his hands onto his dress. Rubbing his hands together he looked up his head tilted slightly. "Umm..I-I need some help..." He said in a about ready to start crying agian. His mouth curved into a frown and his lower lip began to quiver. Blinking back tears he nodded his head.
Shinsetsu's eyes widened a bit as Shilowe was about to cry. He bit his painted ice colored bottom lip. What should he do? How should he help Shilowe? Shilowe snapped at him for touching her, so he couldn't do anything like that. Maybe help Shilowe go somewhere, yes, that would work.
"Where do you want to go?"
His vooice was soft almost like a whisper, and gentle. As Zoey had noticed, it was boyish and cute. He was half relieved half surprised this girl did not react the same way to his voice as Zoey had.
Zoey studied the two infron of her and looked oddly. She was glad that Shin was talking more but was a little puzzled. Wondering if she should say anything she watched the two of them more.
"I wanna go home..." He said glancing down toward to floor. He held his orb to his chest and sniffled. "Candy is in here and I lost her..." His watchers name was Candy and it was the only name he knew her by. Once he'd made the mistake of calling her mom and he found the warth of Candy to be something not wanted to go threw twice. She wasnt violent towards him but she had made sure he would not to say that word ever again. He stood up on his tip toes and held his arm up high. "Shes tall..and...and..she has black hair. And she wears a green hat all the time!" He said not giving much significate detail.
Listening to the discription she wondered... finally she spoke. "We can help you find her if you want, but if we sit here there isn't going to be much luck in the hunt.... Do you want us to help you find her?" Zoey asked squatting down to be eye level with the sprite that was still on the ground.
Keika yawned and walked over to Zoey. She blinked na rubbed her eyes. She noticed Zoey was watching two sprites and saw Shinsetsu. She frowed.
"Oh I knew he forgot about me! I was playing hide and go seek and he must have run off... Oh, Zoey, how are you?"
Shisetsu nodded and held Shilowe's arm, deciding to help her find her "home." Shinsetsu had been here only a short while and did not know where "home" was. Let alone "Candy." He looked around trying to find someone that fit the description. He failed and turned to Shilowe once more.
"Do you know were Candy could be?"
He asked looking at Shilowe's orb. It was really unique. It wasn't like any of the other orbs, not even his own. He would ask her about it when she was not in this stressful state.
Shilowe nodded, "Ok..." he said lower lip still somewhat quivering. He'd relaxed abit, more likely because he could'nt shed anymore tears. Lifting the collar of his dress his wiped at his face in a finally attempt of getting the smuggy black eye liner off with no avail.
Shilowe shook his head. "I looked away for a second and she was gone..." He shifted from one foot to the next, rubbing at one of his eyes as he answered. Feeling abit ancy he began to walk toward the crowd of grown ups. "She'd be in here..." He said staring at the crowd. Pushing himself between to adults he looked up to see forest of legs in his path. Looking back at Shisetsu, Shilowe stood there for a moment waiting for him to make a move. Shilowe wasnt about to walk into that group of people alone.
Zoey smiled at Kieka, "I'm alright, just helping out this sprite Shilowe. It seems Shilowe need to find this watcher named Candy, do you want to help?" She asked figuareing that four sets of eyes was better then three. Turning back to Shin nad Shilowe "So green hat and kinda tall and answers to the name of Candy... got ya, We will find her, Which directon do you want to start looking in?"
Shinsetsu blinked and realised Shilowe wanted him to follow. So the pale boy followed his feminine companion and grabbed her hand, knowing Shilowe did not like being touched, but still, he needed to bot loose this other sprite in the forest of legs.
"What is she like?"
He asked as he followed her and accidentaly caught a peek up a skirt and decided to not look up anymore.
Shilowe didnt know what to make of the question. "What shes like...? I dunno...nice I guess." He said pushing past afew more people. "She gave me a home...some where that belongs to me....she takes me where I belong." Shilowe's mind began to wander. Could she have left him behind...? He shook that thought from his head. Thats the last thing he would want to think about at the moment. Looking back for a brief moment he asked "Whats your M-mom like...?" It took him awhile to remember that Candy wasnt there to give him a head lock like last time.
Shinsetsu was confused by Shilowe's question. His... mom? He did not know what a mom was... He thought then realised he was talking about Limey-chan. He shrugged. Keika had been blathering about her when they first met, but Shin did not know anything about Limey.
"I've never met her... hey, if we can't find her, some sprites have these pillow bed things they sleep on... I could s-show you.."
He studdered. Why? He never had done that. Maybe he was talking too much. That must be it. He hated talking. But why did he want to talk to this other sprite? What was so different about her?
Shilowe stopped and looked back. Disappointment on his face. "We might as well stop looking...she might have just left me..." Taking a step towards Shinsetsu, Shilowe looked up towards a leg that had the familiar limegreen colored stocking to it.
"Candy...?" Shilowe's frown broke into a smile.
"Mrfhghggkjihjh."
"Where have I been...?" "I thought...you...left me here."
"Mhgthughrtgrujshgr"
"Ohhh." Shilowe looked away blushing in embarrassment. "I guess I didnt hear you..."
"Mtheyssty"
"Huh...?"
Opening her mouth she dislodged a large piece of laffy and coffed into her hand before saying. "I said...say good bye to your little friend. We're going home."
Shinsetsu watched Shilowe with dissapointed eyes. He had hoped he would have had more time with Shilowe. The boy then noticed he was still clinging to Shilowe's hand. He gave Shilowe another sad look before reluctantly letting it go.
"Promise you'll come back Shilowe?"
He said in a pathetic tone. He had made one good friend, eh did not want to loose her now. Besides, Shilowe was special, Shinsetsu felt something for her, he couldn't describe it, he just enjoyed being around her.
Shilowe smiled and broke into a hug. "Thanks for helping me...its was really nice of you." Shilowe let go of Shinsetsu and stood on his tip toes grabbing hold of the older female's pinky and began to walk off. Looking back Shilowe waved and called. "You have a really pretty orb!"
Shinsetsu felt his cheeks grow warm and knew he was turning pink as the other darkly colored sprite hugged him. Shinsetsu clutched his orb and hid her cheekc behind it, trying to watch Shilowe for as long as possible, but then Candy and the pretty sprite left.
"You too!"
He yelled out just before Shilowe and Candy dissapeared. He then turned and ran out of the forest of legs and looked at his dark reflection in his orb. He had turned pink just like Zoey had. What was wrong with him? He felt an overwhelming feeling of sadness grope at him as he realised he would not see Shilowe until she came back. He would just have to wait for her.
Upon hearing Keika's name Shinsetsu seemed to grow quite anxious and looked around hoping she had fallen asleep and was not looking for him. He spotted two. His eyes stopped on the black and blue one. Shinsetsu wondered who that was and assumed it was a girl by the dress.
Zoey noticed his reaction, "Do you know one of them?" she asked and then thoguh of who might cause that reaction in him... she imdeatly thoguht of her first inmpression of Keika, "You know Keika don't you" She said not really happy not really sad just kinda there. "She is... very pink." Zoey desided for that to be the safest answer. She shruged and watched other other sprites in the room.
Shinsetsu nodded and cringed a bit. She was waaay to pink. Shin then pointed at Shilowe as if askign Zoey if she knew her. Shilowe was very cute and was black and blue, like him. Shinsetsu was growing more and more interested in meet that sprite. He did not want to be rude and abandone this sprite though. Zoey was atleast calm and quite, sometimes.
Shifting in his position he tried to get comfortable, Shilowes butt had fallen alseep. Getting up he took a step forward to only to stumble, it seems his legs had fallen alseep too. Leaning over, he rubbed at the soreness trying his best to make it go away. Glancing away from his overseer for a moment; he looked back up she seemed to have disappeared in the masses. "Wha-?" Shilowe walked forward a limp to his right leg that still was asleep. "Noo....this can't be happening." He grabed at his hair and pulled on it as he groaned. This CAN'T be happening. He thought to himself.
Zoey shook her head, "We can go over and talk to the sprite if you want." She said and stood up. Adjusting her bag and Drad's Orb she offered a hand up to Shin. "Want to?" she asked.
Shinsetsu nodded but seemed to ignore the hand. The boy stood and looked to Zoey before walking over to Shilowe. He saw that something seemed to be wrong. Shinsetsu cocked an eyebrow and walked over to Shilowe. Extending his arm, as if asking if he needed any help walking.
Zoey followed Shin over and watched as he offered to help the other sprite up.
Shilowe was too far-gone to notice the two sprites that were walking up to him. Whimpering lightly he held his arm over his eyes holding his orb under his other arm. Wiping tears from his eyes he noticed one had extended his arm toward him. Instinctively he pushed the other away and took afew steps back. "W-Who are you...?" He asked tearing at the eyes. Shilowe's eye liner was running and were he wiped at was smeared across his pale cheek.
Shinsetsu frowned and his eyes seemed to be full of concern. He kneeled down to be eye level with Shilowe and gently wiped Shilowe's cheek as he watched the eyeliner run and smear on her cheek. He didn't like talking, but forgot that for a split second.
"I'm Shinsetsu."
He said gently as he helped the other sprite up.
Shilowe batted at the other once he touched his face. "Don't...touch me.." He said firmly. Looking away as the other helped him up he continued to wipe at the tears running down his cheeks. He looked like a cow with two black splotches on his face. His hands were complety black also. "I'm Shilowe..." He muttered looking down, rubbing the ink from his hands onto his dress. Rubbing his hands together he looked up his head tilted slightly. "Umm..I-I need some help..." He said in a about ready to start crying agian. His mouth curved into a frown and his lower lip began to quiver. Blinking back tears he nodded his head.
Shinsetsu's eyes widened a bit as Shilowe was about to cry. He bit his painted ice colored bottom lip. What should he do? How should he help Shilowe? Shilowe snapped at him for touching her, so he couldn't do anything like that. Maybe help Shilowe go somewhere, yes, that would work.
"Where do you want to go?"
His vooice was soft almost like a whisper, and gentle. As Zoey had noticed, it was boyish and cute. He was half relieved half surprised this girl did not react the same way to his voice as Zoey had.
Zoey studied the two infron of her and looked oddly. She was glad that Shin was talking more but was a little puzzled. Wondering if she should say anything she watched the two of them more.
"I wanna go home..." He said glancing down toward to floor. He held his orb to his chest and sniffled. "Candy is in here and I lost her..." His watchers name was Candy and it was the only name he knew her by. Once he'd made the mistake of calling her mom and he found the warth of Candy to be something not wanted to go threw twice. She wasnt violent towards him but she had made sure he would not to say that word ever again. He stood up on his tip toes and held his arm up high. "Shes tall..and...and..she has black hair. And she wears a green hat all the time!" He said not giving much significate detail.
Listening to the discription she wondered... finally she spoke. "We can help you find her if you want, but if we sit here there isn't going to be much luck in the hunt.... Do you want us to help you find her?" Zoey asked squatting down to be eye level with the sprite that was still on the ground.
Keika yawned and walked over to Zoey. She blinked na rubbed her eyes. She noticed Zoey was watching two sprites and saw Shinsetsu. She frowed.
"Oh I knew he forgot about me! I was playing hide and go seek and he must have run off... Oh, Zoey, how are you?"
Shisetsu nodded and held Shilowe's arm, deciding to help her find her "home." Shinsetsu had been here only a short while and did not know where "home" was. Let alone "Candy." He looked around trying to find someone that fit the description. He failed and turned to Shilowe once more.

He asked looking at Shilowe's orb. It was really unique. It wasn't like any of the other orbs, not even his own. He would ask her about it when she was not in this stressful state.

Shinsetsu had fallen asleep after trying to stay up and wait for Shilowe. His upper half was off the small couch he laid on and his arms were folded across his chest. His mouth was parted slightly and his eyes were shut tight. It seemed as ifeven the slightest touch would wake him.
Shilowe strolled into the room his pony tail swishing side to side. The clank of his boots echoing inside the room. His eyes scanning the area as if looking for someone in particular. Finally his eyes stopped at what he was looking for. Shilowe smiled and quickend his pace but made sure to not make as much noise. Slowly he tip toed up to Shinsetsu and watched as the boy slept. Grinning lightly Shilowe poked at the boy's rib cage and whispered, "Hey...umm...I'm back. Wake up please." He poked the boy afew more times just as lightly as he spoke not to startle him.
Shinsetsu squeaked i surprise and shock and fell off his resting place. He blushed, embarrased he had fallena nd quickly sotod up dusting himself off. His eyes slowly came to rest upon Shilowe. He blushed a bit more and quickly beamed a wide grin at Shilowe.
"Hi..."
Was all he could muster to say, but he was glad to see Shilowe. Shin ahd missed his new friend.
Shilowe blinked and stared at him in confusion. Why was Shinsetsu's face so red. Cocking his head to the side he blinked afew more times. "You ok...? Your all red." Shilowe took a step forward his face afew inches from the other's. "Your not sick are you?" Shilowe looked at him as if the boy was growing a second head.
Shinsetsu looked down and brushed some of her hair into his face. He was doing it again. Maybe he was sick, he felt perfectly fine though. He felt his cheeks return to normal as he took a deep breath. He looked back at Shilowe and gave a small smile.
"Sorry, I was embarassed I fell off the chair.."
He said sheepishly as he shifted weight from one leg to another. He glanced around obliviously as he tried to spot familiar sprites. He saw no familiar ones though...
Shilowe smiled, Shinsetsu reminded him of someone...was it himself? Well who ever he was actting like Shilowe sure thought is was funny. He snickered and glanced over his shoulder fallowing Shinsetsu's eyes...what was he looking at? Looking over the group of people Shilowe noticed one in particular that he remembered his first day here. That one horned girl. "Umm...ohh..." Shilowe looked away quickly. Looking back yet again, curiosity took control over him. "So you um know anyone..? Do you know anyone...like that girl over there?" Shilowe pointed in her direction blushing wildy. Lowering his head, his banges covering his face. He didnt know why, but his face was warming up; he only talked to her for a moment and she was abit strange. Why did he feel warm just for the moment he looked at her.
Shinsetsu blinked and returned his gaze to Shilowe. He shook his head, but Shilowe wasn't looking, so it had been in vain. Shinsetsu felt a spark of somethign as he wastched Shilowe blush. He blinked a few times and was tempted to feel her forehead, but quickly remembered when Shilowe had batted his ahnd away last time.
"I only know Keika and Zoey... you?"
He said quietly. He put his hands behind his back and laced his fingers together. It was true. Shin only knew, Keika, Zoey and now Shilowe. He figured it was nice to have many friends, but it seemed all the sprites he saw were girls, or the boys seemed too different from him. That and he wasn't a talkative person.
Shilowe mumbled as he said the names, holding out his fingers he pointed to each one as he answered. "Weeellll...I know..this one girl named Calypso. And and...well you." Shilowe glanced to the floor and back up. "And no one else...really." He scratched behind his head his eyes closed. "So ahh. You wanna p-play? I know this fun game and-" Shilowes voice began to lower as he stared at the group forming over on the other side of the room. I wonder whats going on over there... He thought to himself; being so shy he would have never been able to go himself. But unless someone dragged him there, that would have been the only way for him to find out.
Shinsetsu looked at the group. He was not to fond of large groups of people, and they all seemed preoccupied with each other. He looked back at Shilowe and figured he was curious as to their ongoings, but... he didn't like alot of people or noise...
"What do you want to play?"
"as long as I don't things will stay cool." she mumbled as she looked back at Shin and Shilowe. "I'll be right back" she smiled as she stepped over Caedros and headed twards Shin.
Shilowe held out his orb with one hand and rose a single finger to tuck at lock of hair behind his ear before answering. "We shall play...tag!" Shilowe learned the game at home with the other pets. He brought the orb up to his cheek rubbing it tenderly. "It'll be for awhile...dont worry..." He spoke to the orb with a soothing voice as if the orb knew what was going on. Than placing it down on the ground he took a step back, then steping forward he swung his foot forward and hit the orb sending it falling. His orb zoomed past Shinsetsu and went rolling further away. "Opps!" Shilowe gasped holding his hands up to his mouth. "That wasn't supposed to happen!" He said eyes widening.
Grabing the wandering orb that she crossed on her way across the room she picked it up and gently started to clean it up as she walked up to Shin and Shilowe
"Hello you two" She said beaming a huge smile. "I'm Reina. What's your names? Want to come play with us? Who's is this?" she proceeded to attack them with questions, forgetting her place.
Shinsetsu watched with wide eyes as Shilowe set his orb down and... kicked it? Shinsetsu looked to Shilowe and heard her say it was not suppose to happen. Shinsetysu set his orb on the couch he had occupied moments before and ran after Shilowe's orb, trying to retreve it for her. He sprinted back and took a few deep breaths as he handed the black and blue orb back to Shilowe. He wondered why Shilowe had done that, it had to have been an accident.
Shilowe watched as the other took off after his orb. Reina startled him causing him to almost jump out of his boots. "Ekk!" Grabbing his chest he waited as his heart beat slowled back to normal. "Umm...Hi-llo!" Shilowe's voice was cracked as he talked, most likely from forcing himself to speak. Then also forcing a smile he noticed Shinsetsu came back. Thank goodness! He thought to himself hidding timidly behind the other, Shilowe held the back of Shinsetsu's collar pulling on it hardly not really noticing as he did so.
She looked up at Shin and tilted her head to look at shilowe.
She got an odd vibe from Shin, as if she wasnt wanted around. But she smiled anyway.
"Don't be scared.." she whispered.
Shinsetsu watched Shilowe hide behind him and gave an odd, unammused stare at Reina. He folded his arms not noticing Shilowe was partly suffocating him. He just lowered his shoulders a bit. He figured he was Shilowe's current bodyguard and wouldn't let Shilowe being tackled.
Shilowe loosened his grip on Shinsetsu's collar and poked his head out from behind him. "I'm not! I just...got surprized is all." He said not wanting to look like a baby infront of one of his new friend. Taking a step out from behind Shinsetsu, he placed one hand on his hip while the other held the orb underneath it. "I'm no baby..." He mumbled lowly, more to himself than anyone else. "I remember you from the frist time I came here...nice to umm...see you again." Shilowe grabbed hold of his pony tail stroking it as he talked while staring at the ground.
"I didn't call you a baby" she said scoffingly. "Your the one who ran away, all I did was come to say hi."
Shinsetsu calmed down and his eyes went back to looking calm and quiet. He watched Shilowe through the corner of of his pale eyes. He smiloed slyly as Shilowe muttered and decided to not be surprised anymore. But Shin would still get angry if Reina tried to tackles either of them. Shin was not one for physical contact with new people he did not know.
Shilowe listened to the female's chattering, Shilowe's composure matching his eyes; stone. Shilowe's Lavender eyes rose to meet ruby. "Well you did pop out of nowhere. Anyone would be frighten..." Shilowe lowered his eyes yet again not feeling comfortable looking at her while talking.
She giggled at the fact that Shilowe was so shy. Seeing that shin was still giving her a weird vibe, she stuck her hand out to shin.
"Well... I'm Reina...Nice to meet you?"
Shinsetsu stared at Reinas' hand with a raised eyebrow. He then turned his gaze back up to Reina. He put his hands in his pocket then looked to Shilowe before introducing himself.
"Shinsetsu..."
He said plainly. He did not like talking.
She stared her hand as she watched Shinsetsu put his hands into his pockets. Slowly lowering her hand to her side, she tried to smile.
"I like your name..." she mumbled as he gaze went back to Shilowe.
Shilowe rubbed at his orb. His gaze straying from his orb to Reina then Shinsetsu. He held out his hand it trembling. "I-I'm Shilowe if you didnt remember..."
Reina grabed his hand and shook it vigorously.
"Who could forget a cutie like you" she boastfully stated.
A glare crossed Shinsetsu's feathures and his upper lip curled into a frown, a white fang glinting from the gap the frown made. Why had Reina called Shilowe a cutie, and why did ti bother him. Girls said stuff like that all the time, but this was weird. Shinsetsu was... jelous. He bit his tongue and aid nothing though, and prevented a growl from escaping his lips.
Shilowe's eyes widen and a grin spread across his face. "I-I'm cute!?" He squeaked, voice now high pitched. Shilowe slipped his hand out of hers and placed it on his cheek. "I'm cute..." He loved how those words sounded together. "Me! ME! She said that to me!" Shilowe said to Shinsetsu almost as if he didnt belive it himself.
Reina smiled and winked at Shilowe, before turning away and walking back twards Malkav.
"Later Cutie... Nice meeting you Shinsetsu"
Shinsetsu looked away. Why was she acting like this, Shilowe was acting so oddly. Shinsetsu could feel a cloud of angst going over him. He was acting so oddly himself. Why was this happening!?
"BYE!" Shilowe leaped forward waving. "See you! Bye!!" He called after still waving. That girl just made his friends list in a second. He liked her. She said he was cute...twice! Shilowe turned back towards Shinsetsu grinning. "I like her! Isn't she nice..." Shilowe's voice lowered and he went into a dreamy like state. Sighing he watched as she walked off. "She is pretty too isnt she...?" He said aloud although is was supposed to stay in a thought bubble. "I-I didnt just say that!" Shilowe clapped his hands over his mouth blushing. Urg...his face was warm again. He hated that feeling.
Shinsetsu slumped onto the floor and stared at the ground.
"I think you're cute... prettier then her even..."
He mummbled as he crossed his arms and proceed to feel sorry for himself.
Shilowe was shook his thoughts away and stared down at Shinsetsu. "Whats wrong...?" Shilowe asked plopping down next to him hugging his legs close, than resting his head on them he blinking afew times tilting his head his head yet again. "You've got pretty eyes...and umm hair." Shilowe stroked his own hair and then reached over and held his hand over Shinsetsu's, not really sure if the other would let him touch it or not. "She would have said you were cute if you shook her hand! Smile and the girls co-com-complement you." He got tounge tied saying the word but managed.
Shinsetsu looked at Shilowe with a pathetically sad face. He stared at Shilowe for a moment before lunging forward and giving his new friend a hug. He smiled and laughed.

Shilowe blinked and stared at him in confusion. Why was Shinsetsu's face so red. Cocking his head to the side he blinked afew more times. "You ok...? Your all red." Shilowe took a step forward his face afew inches from the other's. "Your not sick are you?" Shilowe looked at him as if the boy was growing a second head.
Shinsetsu looked down and brushed some of her hair into his face. He was doing it again. Maybe he was sick, he felt perfectly fine though. He felt his cheeks return to normal as he took a deep breath. He looked back at Shilowe and gave a small smile.
"Sorry, I was embarassed I fell off the chair.."
He said sheepishly as he shifted weight from one leg to another. He glanced around obliviously as he tried to spot familiar sprites. He saw no familiar ones though...
Shilowe smiled, Shinsetsu reminded him of someone...was it himself? Well who ever he was actting like Shilowe sure thought is was funny. He snickered and glanced over his shoulder fallowing Shinsetsu's eyes...what was he looking at? Looking over the group of people Shilowe noticed one in particular that he remembered his first day here. That one horned girl. "Umm...ohh..." Shilowe looked away quickly. Looking back yet again, curiosity took control over him. "So you um know anyone..? Do you know anyone...like that girl over there?" Shilowe pointed in her direction blushing wildy. Lowering his head, his banges covering his face. He didnt know why, but his face was warming up; he only talked to her for a moment and she was abit strange. Why did he feel warm just for the moment he looked at her.
Shinsetsu blinked and returned his gaze to Shilowe. He shook his head, but Shilowe wasn't looking, so it had been in vain. Shinsetsu felt a spark of somethign as he wastched Shilowe blush. He blinked a few times and was tempted to feel her forehead, but quickly remembered when Shilowe had batted his ahnd away last time.
"I only know Keika and Zoey... you?"
He said quietly. He put his hands behind his back and laced his fingers together. It was true. Shin only knew, Keika, Zoey and now Shilowe. He figured it was nice to have many friends, but it seemed all the sprites he saw were girls, or the boys seemed too different from him. That and he wasn't a talkative person.
Shilowe mumbled as he said the names, holding out his fingers he pointed to each one as he answered. "Weeellll...I know..this one girl named Calypso. And and...well you." Shilowe glanced to the floor and back up. "And no one else...really." He scratched behind his head his eyes closed. "So ahh. You wanna p-play? I know this fun game and-" Shilowes voice began to lower as he stared at the group forming over on the other side of the room. I wonder whats going on over there... He thought to himself; being so shy he would have never been able to go himself. But unless someone dragged him there, that would have been the only way for him to find out.
Shinsetsu looked at the group. He was not to fond of large groups of people, and they all seemed preoccupied with each other. He looked back at Shilowe and figured he was curious as to their ongoings, but... he didn't like alot of people or noise...
"What do you want to play?"
"as long as I don't things will stay cool." she mumbled as she looked back at Shin and Shilowe. "I'll be right back" she smiled as she stepped over Caedros and headed twards Shin.
Shilowe held out his orb with one hand and rose a single finger to tuck at lock of hair behind his ear before answering. "We shall play...tag!" Shilowe learned the game at home with the other pets. He brought the orb up to his cheek rubbing it tenderly. "It'll be for awhile...dont worry..." He spoke to the orb with a soothing voice as if the orb knew what was going on. Than placing it down on the ground he took a step back, then steping forward he swung his foot forward and hit the orb sending it falling. His orb zoomed past Shinsetsu and went rolling further away. "Opps!" Shilowe gasped holding his hands up to his mouth. "That wasn't supposed to happen!" He said eyes widening.
Grabing the wandering orb that she crossed on her way across the room she picked it up and gently started to clean it up as she walked up to Shin and Shilowe
"Hello you two" She said beaming a huge smile. "I'm Reina. What's your names? Want to come play with us? Who's is this?" she proceeded to attack them with questions, forgetting her place.
Shinsetsu watched with wide eyes as Shilowe set his orb down and... kicked it? Shinsetsu looked to Shilowe and heard her say it was not suppose to happen. Shinsetysu set his orb on the couch he had occupied moments before and ran after Shilowe's orb, trying to retreve it for her. He sprinted back and took a few deep breaths as he handed the black and blue orb back to Shilowe. He wondered why Shilowe had done that, it had to have been an accident.
Shilowe watched as the other took off after his orb. Reina startled him causing him to almost jump out of his boots. "Ekk!" Grabbing his chest he waited as his heart beat slowled back to normal. "Umm...Hi-llo!" Shilowe's voice was cracked as he talked, most likely from forcing himself to speak. Then also forcing a smile he noticed Shinsetsu came back. Thank goodness! He thought to himself hidding timidly behind the other, Shilowe held the back of Shinsetsu's collar pulling on it hardly not really noticing as he did so.
She looked up at Shin and tilted her head to look at shilowe.
She got an odd vibe from Shin, as if she wasnt wanted around. But she smiled anyway.
"Don't be scared.." she whispered.
Shinsetsu watched Shilowe hide behind him and gave an odd, unammused stare at Reina. He folded his arms not noticing Shilowe was partly suffocating him. He just lowered his shoulders a bit. He figured he was Shilowe's current bodyguard and wouldn't let Shilowe being tackled.
Shilowe loosened his grip on Shinsetsu's collar and poked his head out from behind him. "I'm not! I just...got surprized is all." He said not wanting to look like a baby infront of one of his new friend. Taking a step out from behind Shinsetsu, he placed one hand on his hip while the other held the orb underneath it. "I'm no baby..." He mumbled lowly, more to himself than anyone else. "I remember you from the frist time I came here...nice to umm...see you again." Shilowe grabbed hold of his pony tail stroking it as he talked while staring at the ground.
"I didn't call you a baby" she said scoffingly. "Your the one who ran away, all I did was come to say hi."
Shinsetsu calmed down and his eyes went back to looking calm and quiet. He watched Shilowe through the corner of of his pale eyes. He smiloed slyly as Shilowe muttered and decided to not be surprised anymore. But Shin would still get angry if Reina tried to tackles either of them. Shin was not one for physical contact with new people he did not know.
Shilowe listened to the female's chattering, Shilowe's composure matching his eyes; stone. Shilowe's Lavender eyes rose to meet ruby. "Well you did pop out of nowhere. Anyone would be frighten..." Shilowe lowered his eyes yet again not feeling comfortable looking at her while talking.
She giggled at the fact that Shilowe was so shy. Seeing that shin was still giving her a weird vibe, she stuck her hand out to shin.
"Well... I'm Reina...Nice to meet you?"
Shinsetsu stared at Reinas' hand with a raised eyebrow. He then turned his gaze back up to Reina. He put his hands in his pocket then looked to Shilowe before introducing himself.
"Shinsetsu..."
He said plainly. He did not like talking.
She stared her hand as she watched Shinsetsu put his hands into his pockets. Slowly lowering her hand to her side, she tried to smile.
"I like your name..." she mumbled as he gaze went back to Shilowe.
Shilowe rubbed at his orb. His gaze straying from his orb to Reina then Shinsetsu. He held out his hand it trembling. "I-I'm Shilowe if you didnt remember..."
Reina grabed his hand and shook it vigorously.
"Who could forget a cutie like you" she boastfully stated.
A glare crossed Shinsetsu's feathures and his upper lip curled into a frown, a white fang glinting from the gap the frown made. Why had Reina called Shilowe a cutie, and why did ti bother him. Girls said stuff like that all the time, but this was weird. Shinsetsu was... jelous. He bit his tongue and aid nothing though, and prevented a growl from escaping his lips.
Shilowe's eyes widen and a grin spread across his face. "I-I'm cute!?" He squeaked, voice now high pitched. Shilowe slipped his hand out of hers and placed it on his cheek. "I'm cute..." He loved how those words sounded together. "Me! ME! She said that to me!" Shilowe said to Shinsetsu almost as if he didnt belive it himself.
Reina smiled and winked at Shilowe, before turning away and walking back twards Malkav.
"Later Cutie... Nice meeting you Shinsetsu"
Shinsetsu looked away. Why was she acting like this, Shilowe was acting so oddly. Shinsetsu could feel a cloud of angst going over him. He was acting so oddly himself. Why was this happening!?
"BYE!" Shilowe leaped forward waving. "See you! Bye!!" He called after still waving. That girl just made his friends list in a second. He liked her. She said he was cute...twice! Shilowe turned back towards Shinsetsu grinning. "I like her! Isn't she nice..." Shilowe's voice lowered and he went into a dreamy like state. Sighing he watched as she walked off. "She is pretty too isnt she...?" He said aloud although is was supposed to stay in a thought bubble. "I-I didnt just say that!" Shilowe clapped his hands over his mouth blushing. Urg...his face was warm again. He hated that feeling.
Shinsetsu slumped onto the floor and stared at the ground.
"I think you're cute... prettier then her even..."
He mummbled as he crossed his arms and proceed to feel sorry for himself.
Shilowe was shook his thoughts away and stared down at Shinsetsu. "Whats wrong...?" Shilowe asked plopping down next to him hugging his legs close, than resting his head on them he blinking afew times tilting his head his head yet again. "You've got pretty eyes...and umm hair." Shilowe stroked his own hair and then reached over and held his hand over Shinsetsu's, not really sure if the other would let him touch it or not. "She would have said you were cute if you shook her hand! Smile and the girls co-com-complement you." He got tounge tied saying the word but managed.
Shinsetsu looked at Shilowe with a pathetically sad face. He stared at Shilowe for a moment before lunging forward and giving his new friend a hug. He smiled and laughed.
"Sorry, couldn't help myself..."
