Apollo shook his head. "You don't understand. My father has evil inside him. He can not control the darkness, only the evil. I brought light into my parents life so that he would be happier." Apollo tried to explain. His dad couldn't "embrace" his power.

"Ohhhh." Bo nodded. "I thought his power was like yours. Like..he could...do stuff with dark like you do with light. But at least he has you, right. I'll bet you make him very happy, Apollo. But I'm sorry for mentioning it. You don't seem like you want to talk about it." She sunk down into the lake so that only half of her head stuck out.

"Yeah, the only thing he can control is eclipses, but he doesn't like to make it dark for everyone else." Apollo nodded.
"It's okay. Just kinda of an odd thing and can be kinda scary." He didn't want to go into it about how his dad's other side was scary. Apollo didn't really even like thinking about it.

Bo stuck her head out of the water. "Yeah. I wish i could say I understood what you're going through. But....hey. Let's get back to swimming, huh? You prolly don't want to talk about this and I don't want to bum you out too much. Anything you want to do is fine by me."

Apollo nodded. He worried about his dad sometimes. Mostly when he wasn't with him. After his mom became an elder Eclipse seemed to hide the fact that she had a new mission and he didnt' want her to leave him. Apollo knew the only things that kept his father's evil side at bay with his love for Apollo and Cronous.
Apollo swam around Bo a bit. "It's getting darker." He made a light and handed it to Bo.

Bo's eyes glowed happily as she took the light. She smiled as she held it in her hands. "It's so pretty! Thank you." she hummed and floated around with her new light.

Apollo nodded. "Thanks. It can be a helpful power for others as well." He smiled then swam backward on his back. He looked up into the sky as it became darker. "The stars will be out soon."

Bo continued to stare at the light happily. She then looked up at the sky and swam backwars on her back as well. "I like stars. They're the only thing that makes nightime bearable. Them and the moon."

"Yeah, being with my dad I'm in darkness a lot. I haven't seen the stars that often. Though, them and the moon are very pretty. Light is a nice thing." He nodded he was like light in some ways. He liked to make his dad happy, and so Apollo figured stars and the moon made others feel that way in the dark.

"Yeah. Light rocks." Bo sighed and sunk deeper into the water. "I love water." She bubbled when she said this because he mouth as half submerged in water.

Apollo moved his hands throught the water. He watched it ripple back from them. "Yes, it is interesting!" He told her with a nod. He was glad she liked it. That way they were doing something she liked. Apollo hadn't been out much so he didn't know what he liked yet.

Bo nodded and flew up into the air. After reaching a certain point in the air she stopped flapping and cannonballed back into the lake. "Whoo! You should try that. It's FUN!"

Apollo watched Bo as she flew into the air and landed in the water. The splash hit him in the head as he was still watching. The male fae moved his wet hair from his eyes. "I'm not sure that does look like fun." He told her.

Bo laughed and pushed her hair back. "Yeah. You should probably just stick to swimming. I just do it cuz it's a great rush." Bo swam out further and sunk deeper into the lake. She then rose out of the water holding a big scallop. "Look what I found!"
