i finally got enough moey to buy 3-6...and well i looked through and sure enough some o u guys were right
Both gloves are the SAME.

I think it's cool that they used my religions writing around the circle. ( if you don't know it's wiccan)

I posted something a while ago explaining the gloves, which are the same. The arcane writing is called Theban and I am fluent in it's structure. It reads the english and German beneath it.
"Hellsing", "Hell's Gate Arrested", "God be with Us", and "And Shine Heaven Now".

One symbol inside on the right is a variation of the symbol of Neptune or neptunus. I still haven't figured out the rest. Been researching it for a while

I think it's amazing that there are soo many ways of looking at these pair of gloves. Everyone has a tie to it. They mean something different to each one of us.

( if you don't know it's wiccan) umm, no it's not honey. it's a mix of old alchemic languages, the majority of it is done with the theban symbol set, but still not wiccan. and i do know. need to stop posting at 5am with no sleep yet. brain... hurt.... burning_eyes no workey right for... the stuff... remembering... thing... of doom. X_X ouch.

How come Alucard has the gloves before he worked for the hellsing organization if they are hellsing seals?????????

If any of you frequent Renaissance Faires, at one booth I saw quite a few necklaces with very similar pentagrams on them. I wasn't Hellsing obsessed when I saw them, but now that I am, I can remember seeing them around.

Rhia-chan I belive that 'GOTT MIT UNS' means 'God with Us'...... I knew of some of the outside meant but I cant remember it anymore.... Actually I think it is a joke...say it fast.

You could be right, but I think the attitude of the OA - you really see it there more than in the other series or manga - isn't much for joking. Also, it does mean God With Us. In fact, the German army during WWII had Gott Mit Uns emblazoned on their belt buckles.

All i know is what they say, "Hell's Gate Arrested / Gott Mit Uns / And Shine Heaven Now" around the Hellsing seal (some sort of pentacle)
