suki-chan24 you people didn't see there fight? spoiler:
gaara and sasuke fight because gaara,temari,and kankouro (sp?)
were running away.so sasuke went after them.Then sakura,naruto,shikamaru,and pakkun when after him.Sasuke got knock out by gaara.then gaara and naruto fought.it was a tie. heart ninja heart I Love your Siggy!!!! Gaara is so cute whee heart

Even though I don't really like Sasuke.....
At the beggining of the match Sasuke was totally kicking Gaara's a**, until Gaara turned into Shukaku and kick Sasuke's a**.....then Naruto defeated Gaara. So it was a tie....kinda. But now Sasuke at age 15 can use Chidori with his whole entire body.....he even surpressed Kyuubi, man and beat Naruto. Gaara is strong now, but if Naruto saved him...... gonk

I think it would be a long drawn out fight and in the end Gaara would win.

I think gaara would kick sauske's a** really badly .the reason there is for that is ! for gaara has his manipulation of sand which also counts as a good defense and offence .example of why gaara completely used lee's jutsu against him because after all that fast running and attacking eventually you tire out .so when this happens gaara can use eigther his sand as an offence or chose another jutsu entirely see if he does all these things he will definatly win him the fight because odds are the other person won't have enough speed to avoid the attack and would eventually wear down and completely lose it . so there fore sauske may have a fighting chance but always lose it to gaara its just one of those things sauske will never win against gaara and gaara will always beat him as long as gaara still has the power to manipulate sand he can alway defend him self in a skilled way that most people can't do ! so the odds are likely that gaara will kick sauskes a** ! and by the way in later episodes gaara and naruto will have a minimal friendship i know cause my friend likes to watch naruto on youtube.com and sometimes it's in japenese but they have subtitles so you can understand ! but thats besides the point naruto won't protect sauske cause sauske has made it clear to naruto to not help him in any way shape or form so it's more likely that naruto will be on gaara's side .But i don't know i could be wrong ! So yeah gaara will completely whoop sauskes butt

but he will have to do it fast
You all know this
Him Using his chakra to control his sand.
it takes a toll. If the fight last really long Gaara could be in trouble.
but it would be a good fight

well, from my knowledge, which might not be that much so shut the hell up, i would think that gaara would win. Sasuke ISN'T the fastest of the genin and no one has touched gaara, except for Rock Lee, right? and since Sasuke isn't that fast, i guess, Gaara would be able to beat him. I mean, the Sharingan wouldn't help Sasuke at all.
