"Well, what's the point of knowing and talking to a whole bunch of people if you don't like or want to be friends with them? Honestly..." Flips a series of three cards out in front of the puppy, and puts the rest of the stack down to the side. "Anyway, you wanted a card trick, so... Pick a card, read it, and then shuffle all three of the cards back into the deck, kay?"

She did as he had told, picking the one on the left. "I never said I didn't like them, or that I didn't want to be their friend," she said matter-of-factly as she shuffled the deck.

Azeban stared at the strange pup blankly as she shuffled the deck of cards. "Ok~ay then... What did you mean?"

"Just... I dunno. They've never told me I was their friend," she said, looking up at him with innocent eyes.

Blinking, Azeban just shook his head again, in complete bewilderment. "Did you ever ask if they were your friend? Or, I dunno, assume that they're a friend?"
Taking the deck of cards back from the confusing dog, he split the deck, put the top half under the bottom half, and flipped the now top card of the deck over to reveal the card. If he'd done the trick right, the card flipped should be the card she'd chosen. "Was this one yours?"

"No..." she said slowly, looking confused. That is, until he flipped the card and she saw it. Staring up at her was the ace of spades, exactly the card she had chosen. "Ohmygosh~" she squealed, her features lighting up. "That's it! That was my card! You really are magical!"

"Well... Maybe you should. Never know unless you try and all that," he said, with a flicking motion of his tail.
Grinning at her excited reaction to the simple card trick, he grinned and nodded. "Yep, guess so. Still in training though, so I don't know many more," he chuckled with a wink.

"I don't see why not... How about this one?" He asked as he pulled a bouncy ball out of his pocket, and starts looking around for something else. "Help me find a bottle with a narrow neck, kay?"

Estatic, she bounded to her feet and excitedly zoomed around the room, looking for the desired object.

Once a bottle was obtained from who-knows-where, he took the bouncy ball and balanced it on the top of the bottle's mouth, to show that the ball was bigger then the bottle's opening. Offering both items to Azure, he offered, "Take a good look. Anything wrong with the bottle? The ball seem solid enough?"

"I dunno, lemme check. I'm gonna be a consumer inspector someday." She took the items, studying them carefully with a wary eye. "Well, there seems to be a dent in the bottle, but other than that, they seem satisfactory, yes?'

He flashed her a quick grin as he took the bottle and ball back. "You're happy that they are perfectly normal objects? No tricks to this point right?" He questioned her as he wrapped his paw around the ball, and rested it on the mouth of the bottle.
"Hey, I need some help for this trick, so... Give the bottle a tap on the side, would ya? Right between my paws, kay?" He requested, holding the bottle and closed hand out to her.

Curious, she did as he said, holding her breath as she waited for the magic.

"Thanks!" He grinned, and held his now empty paw and the bottle, revealing the bouncy ball sitting innocently at the bottom of the bottle.
