Knightgee Mr.Mxyzptlk Just pointing out that true Soru is described as Instaneous Movement, which I think puts it above Shunpo. When was it described as instantaneous? Chapter #? Also, Shunpo literally translates to flash step, which makes the speed comparable to light, or more likely lightning. As for the fight with Ichigo's team, Nico Robin tips it in OP's favor, since I can't figure out how they could get around her ability. As for Aizen and them, we haven't seen enough of what some of those people can do to guage how strong they are. Names have little barring on the actual ability of the tecnique. Just because it's called flash step doesn't mean it lets you move at the speed of a flash. It's very fast, but not that fast.

I really don't see how Gear 2 will help against Ichigo. Even assuming he's given as much speed as Bankai Ichigo (I really don't see that, but I'm trying to be as unbiased as possible), Ichigo's definitely taken at least that much of a beating, and it doesn't last near as long as Bankai. So as soon as Gear 2 is dropped Ichigo goes Hollow and Kuroi Getsuga later we have a dead Rubber man. Although if you've got more on Gear 2 Luffy I'd be able to judge more accurately, I'm FAR behind on One Piece so I'll admit Luffy could have a much larger chance than I think.

I'm not sure, but hasn't Bleach gotten insanely strong now?
It's in ep 93 or so.
And they've gotten crazy powerful.

Ichigo has his Vizard powers which give him a massive speed and power boost bigger than when he was in Bankai. Gear 2 has a time limit, Bankai doesn't, but the Hollow mask only lasts for 11 seconds, more than enough time to take out Luffy though. also, to the poster who said Chad achieved bankai, he didn't, since to do it you need a soul cutter, and you are a shinigami. Chad just increased his overall power, and from what we've seen, that may not be useful at all if he is still slow. Orihime is useless outside of healing, and her barriers can be broken. Only useful teammembers might be Ichigo, Ishida, Yuroichi, maybe Chad.

Urahara said that Chad's increase in power was the equivilant of a Bankai for him, I think that's what Akuki was saying. Chad's speed shouldn't matter too much with the radius of his blasts now, considering the latest one destroyed stuff a huge radius around him; although that might have been because Ichigo blocked it... Either way, it's not like every one of the pirates is as fast as Luffy...or are they?

I don't doubt it, because I saw it, but the place where I go to read had that page mysteriously missing when they translated the chapter.

my vote goes to ishigos team since if we're basing this on speed they got yourichi. goddess of flash. Now i'm not into the manga but i watch the anime and if you gave ishida his glove baq we'd have a major slaughter. the other fight isn't even fair much aizen would pwn them.

Despite all that if Luffy lands in One hit which is very likely I cannot see in any way how Ichigo would not go down. Luffy is just too dam strong for him.

Have you seen bankai ichigo?
Bankai vizard ichigo?
He's mad strong.
And he's not even the 5th most powerful.
Hell he's not even in top 10.
They are exteremely strong/fast.
I could see Byakuya doing it himself if need be.

They are exteremely strong/fast. I could see Byakuya doing it himself if need be. Vaizard Ichigo hasn't been shown punching someone through 5 feet of bed rock either. And I don't recal Ichigo starting out with Bankai against opponents he's never faced before. He wouldn't even realize he would need to go bankai or hollow before Luffy knocks him out. And I'm having a hard time seeing how Byakuya could solo the One Piece cast... A seriously hard time.

You are being very un-cooperative (sp?).
The 5 feet of rock for example, just because it hasn't happened, doesn't mean it couldn't...
Ichigo's been shown to slice through about 3-4 feet of steel before. He's taken hits from hollow's so large, that it would only make sense they have near Luffy strength.
I sense this debate going towards a hostile tone, and I don't like that.
So everyone, let's debate like friends, not aruge like enemies.
