I like Olaf too. He's just so...evil there is nothing good in him at all what so ever. I like evil more I mean if you mix the letters it spells live, because evil people really get to live! YAY EVIL!

except his website... it's just kinda creepy

I think he's okay,it's just that he pretty much does the same thing in all the books:disguise himself,is about to win,then loses,and come backs again

In the TPP, they gave him a bit of a backstory and actually pointed out that he started out sortof good and the good guys started sortof bad

I've already mentioned that I liked Olaf more in the first few books. He was a much more threatening, well, threat. He was MENTIONED as being not only evil, mean, and cruel, but evil, mean, cruel, and clever. This is what made him so dangerous, as the first book put it.
In the later books, he becomes rather... dumb. He doesn't interest me as much anymore, really. Though I do wonder if the Baudelaire parents did kill Olaf's parents with the poison darts... *shivers in a pleased sort of way* That would be a very interesting twist.
Though, of course, they might turn out to be perfect after all. Ah, well, we'll have to wait for Book 13 to find out, now, won't we?

I practically read the series for Olaf. He's brilliantly written, a despisable villain and loveable oaf at the same time.
