Su Manana I'm not religous at all. Last time I was in a holy house was for a Bar Mitzvah about a month and a half ago. But If I were... I think I'd be Buddhist. Very tolerant, Buddhism. 3nodding
On another note: question How do the local churches get people to go door-to-door? They must know it's rather... creepy. Like chain letters. When they come we politely turn them out, and promptly toss the pamphlets in the trash. Oh man, those people used to come all the time. I hated it. I would just throw all that stuff in the trash they gave us, like you said.
At WolfTrack: LOL. twisted

According to my mum, people used to come up to my dad when he and my mum were going out and try to give him a bible and 'repent', 'cos my dad had heavy metal band shirts and stuff. And they'd chase him around. So one day my mum started chasing after one of them, saying "How do you like it? You like being chased around?" xd My parents rock.

Hrm, okay then.
-New Jersey, where the emos grow. -Massachusetts, the Berkshires, where I live about half of the year. -Mostly NJ. It's a good thing. -I'm happy being a Jersey Devil. Yeah, we're over-populated and living in NJ increases your risk of cancer, but it's fun. Also, I live really nearby New York City; I can see it from a hill by my house. -A third-world country. They're basically hellholes. -I don't have the stereotypical 'Joisey City' accent. But I have plenty of relatives who talk with accents (either Brooklyn, Bronx, or Cuban, depending on which side of the family we're talking about) -...like I said, I don't. -New York City is a landmark, right? :0 And...uh...I'm sure there's some famous landmark in my neighborhood, but I can't remember. I dunno, George Washington probably peed behind some famous building or something.

rock the lauren The relgious people are scary. The lady across the street was asking me if I was interested in attending Youth Group. I politely declined. And the kids next door go to Catholic school. But they seem like robots. I think once I go to school and start talking about Murdoc I'll have the church knocking on our front door for a soul-cleansing or something.
rofl Heheh. I've been in Catholic school since I was, like, 4. But it's really not that bad. Grammar school was basically public school with uniforms and religion classes. And my high school experience hasn't zombified me into a Jesus freak. The curriculum at my school is super-tough, though you can take some pretty liberal religion classes. Last year I took a Spirituality in Literature class, and ended up reading The Prophet by Khalil Gilbran, which was basically the non-denomenational bible for hippies in the '60s.

I'm sorry if I offended you. D: But I'm not saying all Catholic School kids are zombies. My grandpa went to catholic school and he and I were talking about Satanism one time. And he was not all like "OMGWTF?!?!" Lawlz. But the kids next door = zombies. They are constantly doing work around the house while their parents just sit around. I want to be the kid that makes these kids rebel. I do. :}

What's in your head ~
I'm gonna rant about religion now, be prepared. sweatdrop
Religion annoys me to no end. There is no way to prove that there is a god, so why waste time and energy praying to something that potentially doesn't even exist when you could be doing better things? People always rag on me about, "So if you don't believe in god, what do you pray to? What do you hope for?" Dipshits. I don't pray to anything. I believe in myself. If people push their "faith" at me, I push mine at them in return. Religion =/= common sense.
I actually think that's borderline Satanism... O.o I consider myself an absudist. Murdoc would be proud of me, I've corrupted little kids by saying all that. biggrin
I am, however, stuck going to a Jewish school because I am Jewish by blood. I enjoy being part of a hated minority, but not the religious aspect.

~ Zombie, zombie, zombie. :B I agree with you 100%. That's my way of thinking. I know a lot of kids didn't like me in school for thinking that way. But actually, in the church of Satan, I hear that's what they talk about. They preach to not live your life by wasting it and hoping for a God to come or something. That you should live your own life and such.
I find that very neat.

Pfft. I guess I am too. I think about it a lot. Because if that's what they really believe, I guess I am. It's scary.
My parents could never find out though. I mean, they're not religious but they got dissapointed at my sister when she came out and told them she was athiest. D:
I mean, I had kids constantly in school ask me if I was a Satanist. I didn't know what to say so I just laughed. I usually said I don't know, and I don't care.

People at my school just called me goth. sweatdrop
Today my parents were talking about what we would be doing for High Holy Days (it's not as trippy as it sounds). I truly hope they'll let me stay home, but I'm afraid of them strapping me to the roof of the car or something.
