Chachili gave Leboya a weak, but certainly pretty, smile. It was a smile of gratitude... Chachili had never felt so much pride in her life, and these two had seen her through. They'd helped her, in some way. And yet, this was her achievement.
"You two... thankyou, both of you. You've helped me, this day. And I apprechiate it."
Then, Koin's voice. He was speaking about... well, something about names.
"Names?" Chachili looked to her fawns, then touched her firstborn's head, gently.
"Makuu," she whispered, rubbing her muzzle against his tiny neck, "And... the lighter one... he'll be Kukuru."
The morning had played out like a sweet taste to the mouth. Nothing had gone wrong. The fawns seemed alright, they seemed like very healthy youngsters. And they were gorgeous things... to Chachili's eyes, anyway.
Oh, how she'd love and adore them! How she'd raise them... how she'd watch them grow! It would be a mother's dream.
Leboya spoke again, and Chachili looked up.
"Predators?" she asked, tilting her head, "Oh, that's right. I'm a prey animal, aren't I?..."
She looked to the earth, sadly for a moment, then gave her fawns a reassuring nudge. She was there for them. And Leboya was right. They couldn't stay here for much longer.
"I must go, then," she got to legs, shaking a little, but remaining strong, "I must go and find shelter, for my little ones. But I will remember this day, and you two who helped me. Thankyou, Leboya. Thankyou, Koin."
Her eyes glittered, and she took a step forward. And fell. Gosh, she was acting like an idiot, wasn't she? She needed to rest, not walk. Yet, she didn't feel safe.
"I guess..." she faltered, then lowered her head, "I guess I'll just... hide them later... and... just... let go..."
Koin would be guarding her again. Chachili felt gratitude build up inside her body. She wouldn't forget this. She'd never forget their kindness. Koin, her friend. Leboya, the helpful stranger. She'd remember them, and their names, and she'd never forget their kindness. It had touched her.
Chachili's body trembled, and the klipspringer felt her mind slipping off into darkness.
Sleep, now. Rest. Later, you can move again.
Chachili then fell. Fell, that is, into a deep sleep.
(( Thanks for the roleplay, everyone! xD It was great! <3 Thankyousooomuuuuch! <3 ))

Koin nodded as he heard the names.
Makuu and Kukuru his mind played they're names a bit.
Koin watched as his friends tried to walk, but smiled as she laid down to rest. He settled down near her, close enough to hear her every breath. He'd watch her again. Just like before. The only difference is there were fawns now. He'd surely protect them too.

Leboya bowed her head, purring at the sight of the new mother and her fawns.
"... I wish you all well.." she whispered, rising up.
"I best be off myself once I think about it.." she commented, bowing her head again to Koin, turning in place, and heading off towards where she'd came from, a certain bouce and swish to her walk as she did.
That was worth the detour.. she decided as she left, sighing.
Now -that- was a memory that would be imprinted into her mind.. so lovely, the beaming brightness of a new mother was...
it.. was inspiring..
