"David?" This was someone Emerwyn had not met yet... as far as she knew. But, it still brought her sadness that someone had been totally lost to these wild instincts. And, by the sound of her voice, this was someone Joli must be very close to.

"David... Chubbs, my boyfriend" she looked at hte trees then back "Are you and Ian ok?" she was curious if they were together and as much of themselves as they could be in such cases

Neither name rang a bell, but her heart ached even more for Joli. "I'm very sorry."
But, when Joli mentioned Ian, Emerwyn's face drained of what color it had. Ian. That was a very tender topic. She had not seen him in a couple of weeks. It pained her every day she went without him. But, she could not face him. Not yet. This was something she had to do alone.
"We... that is to say... I care about him very much... so very much..." She trailed off, not completely answering Joli's question.

"Oh" Joliette paused and looked down tearing at the rabbit's fir with a claw "I'm sorry... I didn't mean to upset you" her tongue flickering as picked up the scent of the carcass of hte rabbit

The rabbit corpse was beginning to make her nauseous.

"We'll be ok, he seems to remember me, perhaps I'll see if I can find him again... I'm finding photography hard to do right now, not as much dexterity in these hands as there once was" She looked up at Emerwyn and gave her a small smile "We'll all be ok" she was saying words she wasn't entirely sure she believed

Joliette could no longer do her photography... Emerwyn still had the photo she'd given her - she'd placed it in her memory book. And, Emerwyn was finding it increasingly difficult to write. She wasn't sure the new pasttimes of frolicking and grazing quite compensated.
We'll all be okay.
Hope.
What a powerful word.
As long as there was something behind it.
"Thank you." She leaned forward and placed a hoofed hand on Joli's scaled one.
Then she rose wearily once more to her feet.

"I don't want to keep you from what you were doing, I will... see you again" she smiled she had paused almost using hunt instead of see and stopping herself before "Please stay well my friend... and stay yourself" she nods her snoutted head

Emerwyn tried to speak a farewell, but her throat caught, and she messily strangled back a nasty cough.
She smiled and nodded awkwardly, then waved, and turned slowly away.
Once she was out of Joli's earshot, she doubled over and released the cough. The phlegm was thick as ever, but a little less red.

Emerwyn gone Joliette turned her attention back to the rabbit and pulled it off into the underbrush to deal with as the Komodo in her surfaced once more

The sun peeking high in the sky, the rabbit gone, only it's stomach and intestines left and soon burried the Komodo slunk off into the jungle soon finding a path and lumbering along it half crouched and staying low, her hunt was over, but she still was avoiding people best she could.

Newt was in a good mood that afternoon. He had put on his new swim trunks under his jumper to hop his way towards the lake, taking a shortcut through the jungle to see if he could catch some lunch along the way. He spotted a particularly large, juicy looking beatle, and quickly set to his own hunt, leaping and snatching his tongue out in an attempt to grab it, not noticing the giant lizard woman lurking nearby.

The Komodo stopped as the tongue picked up a new scent, she moved back into the underbrush turning her direction and slowly heading directly for the scent and the unfamiliar person... It wasn't lokng before her goldish eyes looked through the foliage and up at the frogman

Newt didn't notice, jumping again to finally snatch the insect up with his tongue with a victorious KrrKIT, throat sacks inflating happily.

"Bugs... to each their own" Joliette spoke quietly not moving from her spot, his sounds and the throat sacks telling her he was some kind of frog, she didn't know what kind though
